I'm going to unhaul today and it's kind of nerve-wracking because I don't even remember what most of these books are about, but that just adds to the excitement.
One book that comes up is The Black Kids by Christina Hammond. I've already read this book and somehow ended up with three copies. So, I'm keeping one copy for myself and giving the other two away to my school because it's a really great book that I think will be very welcome there. Some people have commented on how many adult romances are in my unhaul pile, but I've also noticed that teachers are interested in some of these books too.
Another book is The Happy Ever After Playlist by Abby Jimenez. This one was purchased on impulse when I visited a bookstore that had just reopened after being closed for a while. I was happy to be back in the store and saw this book, which features a new pet, so I bought it without much thought at the time. Now, I'm not entirely sure why I chose it, but maybe my love of books is the reason.
This next book is Lies Like Poison by Chelsea Pitcher. Unfortunately, someone sent me this one unsolicited, and I don't know if I'll end up reading it. The book sounds cool, but I also think that there are other readers out there who might enjoy it more than I would. So, I'm not sure about keeping it or passing it on.
I've had Only a Breath Apart by Katie McGarry on my shelf for three years now. This book is a romantic contemporary with magical elements to it. I don't know what the word for the magical elements is, but it involves things like psychics and supernatural stuff. For some reason, I haven't picked this one up yet, so I'm considering giving it another chance.
The Cold Is in Her Bones by Petronel van Arsdale has been on my shelf for a very long time. It's a fantasy book with a medusa retelling that sounds intriguing to me. However, I've actually tried to read this one before and just couldn't get into it. Now, I'm not sure if I'll give it another chance or let it go.
One of the last books on my list is These Stars Are Mine by Adeline Grace. Unfortunately, I started reading this book but never finished it. Sometimes I wonder if it's really worth finishing, so I'm considering passing it on to someone who might be more interested in it.
Last up is Into the Crooked Place by Alexandra Christo. The reason I haven't picked this one up is because of the tiny font – the font is like 9-point font! So small that it's hard to read. That definitely explains why I haven't gotten around to reading it yet, but maybe now that I've seen all these other books on my list, I'll give it a shot.
Those are all the books that I'm going to be unhauling today. If you have any favorite books from this list and would like to see them go to their new homes, please leave a comment in the comments section below.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey everyone it's hailey and today i'm going to be doing a book unhaul so it has honestly been like a year since i've done an unhaul i don't think i have filmed one since i've moved here i did one like in march or so around then but this is long overdue it's not a giant unhaul but i did kind of go through my shelves and did a little bit of purging i was like realistically am i going to read this book and then i made a decision accordingly now i do have a fun little idea for this unhaul so i'm going to be doing a reading vlog at some point in the future where i'm going to be reading like i will pick three to four books from this unhaul that you guys have picked for me to actually not unhaul right away and end up reading so for that reading vlog i will be reading those so you can stay tuned to the end of this video to see which books are included here and then comment down below with which book you think that i should pick and then i will pick like the four most mentioned i might just read three who really knows but i think that's going to be fun because like sometimes there are some books that i almost unhaul and then i end up reading them and i actually end up really enjoying them so this might be the same case i don't really know but we'll see but don't be offended if your favorite book is on here it's just like i have so many books to read that honestly i can't get to everything so i need to make some cuts sometimes so to start it all off i'm going to talk about a couple of books that i actually have duplicate copies of so one of the good ones by micah malou and marisa mulit and love is a revolution by renee watson i just blanked on that author i have actually read both of these and i have the arcs here but i got finished copies that i had pre-ordered so i do not need to keep the arcs as well by the way before i get into the rest of the books here i should mention that these books will be going to a good home they are going to be going to my old high school which doesn't have a library so i always bring my old books there but i do kind of have like a waiting period just in case so i have some books that i will kind of like set aside and then i will revisit them later and if i still don't feel like i'm interested in them and i've kind of completely forgotten about them then they will completely go so now we'll get to the rest of them so next is infinity sun by adam silvera this is adam silvera's first fantasy novel and i had pre-ordered it and i kind of forgot i pre-ordered it to be honest but it came out last year and i just i haven't heard the best things about this and i know everyone's opinion is different but i wasn't really like all that excited about it in the first place which is why i'm kind of like maybe it is time to let this one go so i have had very mixed feelings with his books like there are some that i really like there's one that i love and then there's a couple that i really haven't enjoyed that much so it just makes me a bit hesitant and i think that's the reason why this one is here like i was reading the synopsis and i remember i think it was in the book haul i was trying to where i hauled this book i was trying to like figure out what the synopsis was saying but i found it very kind of confusing so i think since then i haven't really been like looking forward to it and i've kind of forgotten that i have it so that is why this one might be unhauled next i know that this is probably going to be one that was picked and i'm kind of dreading it so this will probably be like the fourth one just because i have tried this book so many times and i kind of i just want to get rid of carry-on by rainbow rabble i know i know i know but like i just i have tried and everyone's like you have to get to a certain point and i have gotten very far into it but i just haven't really been engaged in the story i haven't understood what all the hype is about but at the same time like i want to understand what all the hype is about which is why i have been so hesitant to get rid of it and i haven't done that yet so i don't know like i know probably a lot of you are gonna say this one but we'll see i just i'm not optimistic like i have gotten to the part where the character that everyone says makes it better shows up and it just it hasn't made it all that much better there's things i like about it but overall i've just been kind of bored with it so yeah i'm sorry next is there will come a darkness by katie rose poole so i actually got this at bookcon the last time so that was in 2019 and i had heard it was kind of like six of crows mixed with like um is it avatar the last airbender i've never actually like watched it i've seen a couple of episodes with hannah and zoe but i've never like actively watched it on my own so now i can't remember but it was kind of a mix of those two things and i just i like i feel like i have so many fantasies and it's been like really over saturated and that's why there's certain ones that just kind of fall through the cracks so this is kind of the case that this one has fallen into for me i just haven't really been that inclined to pick it up i have been getting more into fantasy now so like maybe it would be a good time to continue with it but i really haven't seen all that much of it so i don't know if i want to keep it like i don't care if i see really good reviews for a book or really bad reviews for a book it's just like if i'm not sure about it then that's kind of when i start caring about that like i will just read whatever i want no matter if anyone's talking about it like i love finding hidden gems but at the same time like if i'm kind of hesitant about something it does help me make a decision but obviously i really struggle with commitment so like even these i'm like maybe unhaul because like what if it's my new favorite book and i'm unhauling it like that would be tragic anyways the next step is i killed zoe spanos and this is by kit frick so this was actually sent to me unsolicited and that's why i'm kind of debating like not reading it i don't know if it would be something that i enjoy i think it's like a mystery thriller and i just kind of have like mixed feelings about those so that's why this one is here and then speaking of actually because i'm pretty sure i've sent this one at the same time it's a girl unframed by deb coletti so deb clinty does have quite a few books and i've never read any of them and this one is more of kind of a mystery like it does sound really interesting i just haven't really wanted to pick it up which is why i'm like maybe i never will and maybe i should unhaul it next up another book that was sent to me which is the good luck charm by helena hunting so i read meat cute by helena hunting and that's another adult romance this one is an adult romance and i liked it but it wasn't something where i was like wow i'd love to read like more of this author it just kind of was a little bit forgettable for me so i think that's why like i've never picked up this book on my own in the first place and that's why i'm think of on here honestly which is you say it first by katie catugno which i pre-ordered and then i just never ended up returning it so that's why it's here but both of these deal with like act not i don't want to say activism because that's not the it's like dealing with voting and like i'm all for voting like i think everyone should exercise their right to vote i always vote but i don't really like think a book about it is very appealing to me i think these books are really important but i just don't think it's really something that i would enjoy so like i think this one deals with canvassing i don't exactly remember but it's like a relationship that starts on the phone i don't really know and then this one like i just i don't know i don't know how i feel about it i'm just very hesitant about both of these but i'm like it just doesn't seem like something that i might enjoy i guess oh no next up is the upside of falling by alex light so this is actually supposed to be a fake dating like i'm kind of debating keeping this one because it is like a quick sort of like fake dating story but at the same time i'm like i feel like i have so many of those but like then i was kind of looking for one the other day because i've read kind of some like not the happiest books more intense books recently and like fantasies so i've kind of been craving something fluffy but didn't necessarily want an adult romance so that's when like something like this would come into play but at the same time this one has just never really stood out to me i don't know it's honestly really hard for me to describe why i want to get rid of books because sometimes there's like not really a reasoning it's just i'm not feeling it there's not a vibe there anymore but anyways next is the happily all the happy uh all the ever afters wow that was such a struggle all the ever afters by danielle teller so this is the untold story of cinderella's stepmother and i just kind of bought this impulsively like i have been working on the impulse purchases i promise okay but this one i definitely just kind of bought like very impulsively one day and i've had it for a couple of years now and i've just never like really wanted to actually pick it up so oh well next is seafire by natalie c parker this is for sure one that like i kind of wanted to read like not kind of i wanted to read but now it's kind of been so long that i'm like do i want to read it anymore so that's kind of where i'm falling on this one but i don't even remember what it's about which isn't helpful but it follows the captain of an all female ship intent on taking down a vicious warlord's powerful fleet so just seemed like it would be interesting i just like oh no next up i have two copies of the black kids by christina hammond's read so i have read this book and i ended up with three copies somehow so i'm keeping the one copy and then these two will be going to my school because it is a really great book so i think it will be one that will be very welcome there also i know a couple of people have commented on the fact that i'm unhauling to my high school some adult romances but there's also teachers that will take the books there also i know a lot of teenagers who read dolma romance but there are teachers too speaking of that though next is the happy ever after playlist by abby jiminez so this is by the author of the friend zone and i like oh it has a new pet in it though i don't know like i once again kind of bought this one on impulse i think it was right when stores like right when i went to the bookstore when they reopened like i waited a little bit but then the first time i went to a bookstore and i had to make a return after they reopened i saw this one and i think it was on sale or something and that's why i ended up picking it up but i just kind of was happy to be in a bookstore and i think that's why i implosively purchased this but i don't know next is lies like poison by chelsea pitcher so this was just sent to me i think it sounds cool but i don't know if i like it's really something that i want to read so it was just an unsolicited sending so i'm not sure about that by the way that just means like i didn't ask for it it was just sent to me so it's like a gift which like i'm not ungrateful i just think that someone else might enjoy it more so i'd rather have it go somewhere else next is only a breath apart by katie mcgarry i've had this book for like three years now or something and it's like a like romantic contemporary but it also has some sort of magical elements to it with like i can't think of the word right now is it psychics i don't know if it's actually psychics but it deals with stuff like that and for some reason i just i don't know i've why haven't i picked it up i don't know but now i'm kind of at the point where i'm like will it ever happen next is the cold is in her bones by petronel van arsdale so i've had this book for a very long time it's a really short like fantasy it's actually a medusa retelling which seems intriguing but it's another one where i think i've actually picked this one up a couple of times and i've just never gotten very far into it so now i've kind of lost interest and the last couple here are all these stars and teeth by adeline grace i've started this one and just have never ended up finishing it and now i'm kind of at the point where i'm like is it really worth it or am i just kind of forcing myself and then the other one is into the crooked place by alexandra christo i thought this one seemed really cool i think once again this is an arc that i got oh my god i know why i haven't picked this up the font is like tiny this is like nine point font like if even wow that font is tiny so that definitely explains why i haven't picked it up but maybe i don't know okay so those are all the books that i'm going to be unhauling today so if you have one or i mean you can like give me four if you would like but if you have like your number one book off of this list that you think that i should keep and i should read for that reading vlog please comment it down below because i'm very interested to see which ones are going to be on there like i have a feeling for a couple but most of them i honestly have no idea so obviously that's like excluding the black kids and love is a revolution and one of uh one of the good ones because i have read these so just out of the ones that like i haven't read so if there is one that is mentioned a lot that i have already read and i'm unhauling or one that i dnf'd then i'll just go on to the next one so i hope you guys enjoyed this video thank you so much for watching and i will see you guys in the next one very soon bye youhey everyone it's hailey and today i'm going to be doing a book unhaul so it has honestly been like a year since i've done an unhaul i don't think i have filmed one since i've moved here i did one like in march or so around then but this is long overdue it's not a giant unhaul but i did kind of go through my shelves and did a little bit of purging i was like realistically am i going to read this book and then i made a decision accordingly now i do have a fun little idea for this unhaul so i'm going to be doing a reading vlog at some point in the future where i'm going to be reading like i will pick three to four i still don't feel like i'm interested in them and i've kind of completely forgotten about them then they will completely go so now we'll get to the rest of them so next is infinity sun by adam silvera this is adam silvera's first fantasy novel and i had pre-ordered it and i kind of forgot i pre-ordered it to be honest but it came out last year and i just i haven't heard the best things about this and i know everyone's opinion is different but i wasn't really like all that excited about it in the first place which is why i'm kind of like maybe it is time to let this one go so i have had very mixed feelings with his books like there are some that i really like there's one that i love and then there's a couple that i really haven't enjoyed that much so it just makes me a bit hesitant and i think that's the reason why this one is here like i was reading the synopsis and i remember i think it was in the book haul i was trying to where i hauled this book i was trying to like figure out what the synopsis was saying but i found it very kind of confusing so i think since then i haven't really been like looking forward to it and i've kind of forgotten that i have it so that is why this one might be unhauled next i know that this is probably going to be one that was picked and i'm kind of dreading it so this will probably be like the fourth one just because i have tried this book so many times and i kind of i just want to get rid of carry-on by rainbow rabble i know i know i know but like i just i have tried and everyone's like you have to get to a certain point and i have gotten very far into it but i just haven't really been engaged in the story i haven't understood what all the hype is about but at the same time like i want to understand what all the hype is about which is why i have been so hesitant to get rid of it and i haven't done that yet so i don't know like i know probably a lot of you are gonna say this one but we'll see i just i'm not optimistic like i have gotten to the part where the character that everyone says makes it better shows up and it just it hasn't made it all that much better there's things i like about it but overall i've just been kind of bored with it so yeah i'm sorry next is there will come a darkness by katie rose poole so i actually got this at bookcon the last time so that was in 2019 and i had heard it was kind of anyone's talking about it like i love finding hidden gems but at the same time like if i'm kind of hesitant about something it does help me make a decision but obviously i really struggle with the ever afters by danielle teller so this is the untold story of cinderella's stepmother and i just kind of bought this impulsively like i have been working on the impulse purchases i promise okay but this one i definitely just kind of bought like very impulsively one day and i've had it for a couple of years now and i've just never like really wanted to actually pick it up so oh well next is seafire by natalie c parker this is for sure one that like i kind of wanted to read like not kind of i wanted to read but now it's kind of been so long that i'm like do i want to read it anymore so that's kind of where i'm falling on this one but i don't even remember what it's about which isn't helpful but it follows the captain of an all female ship intent on taking down a vicious warlord's powerful fleet so just seemed like it would be interesting i just like oh no next up i have two copies of the black kids by christina hammond's read so i have read this book and i ended up with three copies somehow so i'm keeping the one copy and then these two will be going to my school because it is a really great book so i think it will be one that will be very welcome there also i know a couple of people have commented on the fact that i'm unhauling to my high school some adult romances but there's also teachers that will take the books there also i know a lot of teenagers who read dolma romance but there are teachers too speaking of that though next is the happy ever after playlist by abby jiminez so this is by the author of the friend zone and i like oh it has a new pet in it though i don't know like i once again kind of bought this one on impulse i think it was right when stores like right when i went to the bookstore when they reopened like i waited a little bit but then the first time i went to a bookstore and i had to make a return after they reopened i saw this one and i think it was on sale or something and that's why i ended up picking it up but i just kind of was happy to be in a bookstore and i think that's why i implosively purchased this but i don't know next is lies like poison by chelsea pitcher so this was just sent to me i think it sounds cool but i don't know if i like it's really something that i want to read so it was just an unsolicited sending so i'm not sure about that by the way that just means like i didn't ask for it it was just sent to me so it's like a gift which like i'm not ungrateful i just think that someone else might enjoy it more so i'd rather have it go somewhere else next is only a breath apart by katie mcgarry i've had this book for like three years now or something and it's like a like romantic contemporary but it also has some sort of magical elements to it with like i can't think of the word right now is it psychics i don't know if it's actually psychics but it deals with stuff like that and for some reason i just i don't know i've why haven't i picked it up i don't know but now i'm kind of at the point where i'm like will it ever happen next is the cold is in her bones by petronel van arsdale so i've had this book for a very long time it's a really short like fantasy it's actually a medusa retelling which seems intriguing but it's another one where i think i've actually picked this one up a couple of times and i've just never gotten very far into it so now i've kind of lost interest and the last couple here are all these stars and teeth by adeline grace i've started this one and just have never ended up finishing it and now i'm kind of at the point where i'm like is it really worth it or am i just kind of forcing myself and then the other one is into the crooked place by alexandra christo i thought this one seemed really cool i think once again this is an arc that i got oh my god i know why i haven't picked this up the font is like tiny this is like nine point font like if even wow that font is tiny so that definitely explains why i haven't picked it up but maybe i don't know okay so those are all the books that i'm going to be unhauling today so if you have one or i mean you can like give me four if you would like but if you have like your number one book off of this list that you think that i should keep and i should read for that reading vlog please comment it down below because i'm very interested to see which ones are going to be on there like i have a feeling for a couple but most of them i honestly have no idea so obviously that's like excluding the black kids and love is a revolution and one of uh one of the good ones because i have read these so just out of the ones that like i haven't read so if there is one that is mentioned a lot that i have already read and i'm unhauling or one that i dnf'd then i'll just go on to the next one so i hope you guys enjoyed this video thank you so much for watching and i will see you guys in the next one very soon bye you\n"
