You Decide What I Unhaul!

I'm going to unhaul today and it's kind of nerve-wracking because I don't even remember what most of these books are about, but that just adds to the excitement.

One book that comes up is The Black Kids by Christina Hammond. I've already read this book and somehow ended up with three copies. So, I'm keeping one copy for myself and giving the other two away to my school because it's a really great book that I think will be very welcome there. Some people have commented on how many adult romances are in my unhaul pile, but I've also noticed that teachers are interested in some of these books too.

Another book is The Happy Ever After Playlist by Abby Jimenez. This one was purchased on impulse when I visited a bookstore that had just reopened after being closed for a while. I was happy to be back in the store and saw this book, which features a new pet, so I bought it without much thought at the time. Now, I'm not entirely sure why I chose it, but maybe my love of books is the reason.

This next book is Lies Like Poison by Chelsea Pitcher. Unfortunately, someone sent me this one unsolicited, and I don't know if I'll end up reading it. The book sounds cool, but I also think that there are other readers out there who might enjoy it more than I would. So, I'm not sure about keeping it or passing it on.

I've had Only a Breath Apart by Katie McGarry on my shelf for three years now. This book is a romantic contemporary with magical elements to it. I don't know what the word for the magical elements is, but it involves things like psychics and supernatural stuff. For some reason, I haven't picked this one up yet, so I'm considering giving it another chance.

The Cold Is in Her Bones by Petronel van Arsdale has been on my shelf for a very long time. It's a fantasy book with a medusa retelling that sounds intriguing to me. However, I've actually tried to read this one before and just couldn't get into it. Now, I'm not sure if I'll give it another chance or let it go.

One of the last books on my list is These Stars Are Mine by Adeline Grace. Unfortunately, I started reading this book but never finished it. Sometimes I wonder if it's really worth finishing, so I'm considering passing it on to someone who might be more interested in it.

Last up is Into the Crooked Place by Alexandra Christo. The reason I haven't picked this one up is because of the tiny font – the font is like 9-point font! So small that it's hard to read. That definitely explains why I haven't gotten around to reading it yet, but maybe now that I've seen all these other books on my list, I'll give it a shot.

Those are all the books that I'm going to be unhauling today. If you have any favorite books from this list and would like to see them go to their new homes, please leave a comment in the comments section below.
