Cool Gaming Setup Accessories Under $20

**Review of USB Card Reader and Extension Cables**

I recently received a package from Anka, which included a USB 3.0 extension hub. This device is very popular among gamers and enthusiasts who require additional USB ports for their systems. The product itself is slim and compact, making it easy to integrate into any setup. I was pleased to find that it has four free ports branching off from the main connection point. While this device does not have enough ports to satisfy my immediate needs, it is a useful addition to any system lacking sufficient USB connections.

Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the extension hub requires a separate cable to connect it to another device or extension cable. This was not a major issue for me, as I already had some expansion cables from Hugh Green available. However, if you're in need of more USB ports and don't have existing cables, this might be a convenient solution.

Another product that caught my attention was the NZXT Hue Plus Extension Kit. As an owner of the NZXT Hue Plus lighting system, I wanted to upgrade it slightly without breaking the bank. The extension kit allows me to connect additional RGB LED strips to my existing setup. The device itself is a simple extension cable that connects to the existing Hue Plus controller. I'm looking forward to figuring out how to integrate this new extension into my lighting system.

In addition to these products, I also purchased a Bluetooth USB dongle for my earbuds. This device has been a game-changer for me, allowing me to edit videos with headphones or earphones, which I thoroughly enjoy. Another purchase was a USB card reader, which is designed to sit at the back of my desk and provide additional storage options.

**Unboxing and First Impressions**

As I begin unboxing each product, I'll share my initial thoughts and impressions. Let's start with the Anka USB 3.0 extension hub. As expected, it was compact and slim, making it easy to place alongside the USB card reader on my desk. The device itself is straightforward, with a simple design that doesn't add much to the overall aesthetic.

Next up is the NZXT Hue Plus Extension Kit. I'm excited to integrate this new extension into my lighting system and explore its capabilities. As an owner of the NZXT Hue Plus controller, I know how convenient it is to have additional lighting options at my fingertips. With this extension kit, I should be able to add even more RGB LED strips to my setup.

**Additional Features and Accessories**

One feature that caught my attention was the inclusion of magnetic LED strips in both products. These strips are extremely useful for cable management and can be easily attached to surfaces using a strong magnet. While not all companies offer this feature, I'm glad that Anka and NZXT included it in their products.

In addition to these products, I also purchased some additional RGB LED strips from NZXT. As you may have noticed, there's an extra strip in the unboxing process. I'll be showcasing its features and capabilities in a separate video.

**Other Purchases**

As I was sorting through my purchases, I found a Bluetooth USB dongle for my earbuds. This device has been a revelation for me, allowing me to edit videos with ease while wearing headphones or earphones. It's an essential accessory that I'll be using frequently in the future.

Underneath my desk, you can see my sound blaster X katana sound bar and subwoofer combo. To add some extra flair to this setup, I decided to attach an LED strip behind the subwoofer. While it's not a smart LED strip, I think it looks cool and will enhance the overall aesthetic of my setup.

**Conclusion**

That concludes my review of these products. Each item has its unique features and capabilities that make them useful additions to any setup. As always, thank you for watching, and I hope to see you in another video soon!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhello everyone I'm M welcome to tech block and today we're going to be doing a quick little video just showing us a wall things I bought on Amazon first of all I bought myself an ACS Bluetooth USB adapter for Bluetooth 4.0 well this for one reason and one reason only and that's because I don't actually own a pair of headphones or earphones at the moment for my PC I used to have a pair of razer kraken 7.1 chroma version one's not emergencies however when I bought myself of the Sound Blaster X katana from creative the sound bar that's on my desk I pretty much gave away my headphones for to my mom as she was using some awful pair of headphones and I'm just like here have my razor ones these are good they're comfortable and she was very happy so if she has those earphones and I was pretty much left with nothing but I was like err of that as I had this awesome sound bar from creative it just has a really good sound quality super loud the bass with the subwoofer is out of this world so yeah it's a great sound bar would recommend it anyway at the moment I have no headphones for the PC so when I'm editing videos or playing games or watching YouTube videos I pretty much can only use the sound bar for audio however I wanted to fix that as I do have a pair of Apple earpods for my iPhone and I pretty much could just use these for music and audio books and stuff on audible which by the way there's a link in description down below for audible for a 30-day free trial that you guys can check out if you want a book recommendation from me I'd probably recommend Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T Kiyosaki a great book I just finished listening to it yesterday the book is jam-packed with loads of great information about business and investing so if you'd like a book recommendation from me I'd recommend Rich Dad Poor Dad C it's a great first book I guess so enough about audible let's continue on with the video so I bought this Bluetooth adapter so I can hopefully connect my air pods to my PC so I can just use them as headphones which I love these air pasta bits they're amazing the battery life is great the sound quality is good I love them so hopefully I can use them with my PC I don't know if it'll work I hope these are bluetooth 4.0 compatible or any of the other incompatibilities who listen but hopefully works oh god there's a CD dead listen is the CD in here I don't have any CD drive I hope I don't need that I don't you download any drivers that I need online and not receive let's get this USB dongle out it works hopefully connects to my oh I don't even know how I'm going to do this I don't think I've ever connecting a Bluetooth device to my PC before something connecting mmm-hmm we are connected to something they work they work whoo awesome all right let's let's play some music I can confirm they work whoo that's awesome that's really great awesome I'm so happy now that's cool man that's cool but when I put them back in the case it doesn't disconnect it yes it did disconnect them very good however when I put them in my ears will it automatically connect to the PC like they do on my phone that's the real question they did they did they just connected that's cool man this works very well right I'm very happy about this and when you pop them back in the case it switches back to the sound bar what more could I ask for right the next item on boxing is the you green card reader currently I have a card reader from Advent that I bought from Curry's while I bought my camera which unrecorded us on now and by the way my camera is the canon g7x mark ii so yeah link it in the switcher NAMBLA to the camera of course and everything else you see here so anyway i canti have this Advent USB 3.0 card reader however there's one problem and you may think this is kind of stupid that I bought a card reader even though I already have card reader but hear me out so every time I want to plug my SD card into this I don't like the way this dongle or adapter looks instead I put this which is kind of like a dedicated dock I guess that I'm going to probably mount underneath my table why around here underneath of the PC so I said I probably mount this underneath it for the best day yes but yeah at the moment I don't like the way this looks when it's like sticking out of the PC I don't think it's very appealing into the eye I'm no longer going to be using this Advent USB be poor no SD card reader but I don't get me wrong it's fine the performance is great its USB 3.0 so is the one I bought here but I just wanted it to be in a permanent place and not there let's open it up I love doing unboxing videos there's so much fun especially through all these little gadgets these are all super inexpensive I think I even bought this card reader for like eight pound bonanza it was on a lightning deal can't go wrong with that I cuts him home to the lightning deal on Amazon anyway let's unbox it take a look see how it looks like it's the quality good I think it's eight pound I don't expect much I just expect it to do the job very nice we have a nice matte finish on this card reader very simple a little bit of glossy plastic here and there but yeah very stealthy just says you green there I do have a lot of products from you green by the way I have at least four three USB 3.0 extension cables from you Green and if you wondering why I needed so many extension cables I'll leave a link in the solution down below to my cable management guide also there's a card right here that you can click as well anyway here's the card reader we have USB 3.0 there's not really much to say about this I'm going to be placing the table here alongside and other rights of which I shall unbox right now so we have a package here from Anka and this my friends is a very popular item featured in many gaming setups and death setups in general this is the USB 3.0 extension hub so we have one USB a free pilot port branching into four so that's pretty cool as I am kind of lacking USB ports at the moment at the back of my PC but I will be I'm wearing the entire rig it's some time soon so hopefully I'll buy myself a motherboard with at least are 10 or 12 USB port at the back at the moment this one has eight I think and running out there's not enough above this little adapter I'm going to be placing it alongside the USB card reader right here so these two will be best friends sitting next to each other so once again that's not too much it's a say about it it's just a poor poor data hub it's very slim very compact form factor I guess I just realized that both of these items they each need a USB extension cable so I'm gonna have to go on Amazon and buy even more expansion cables from Hugh green of course anyway let's move on to a product from NZXT now this is the NZXT hue plus extension kit I already have NZXT hue plus inside my PC as you probably see in my previous videos I want to upgrade it ever so slightly no bump up the RGB ever so slightly what I did is I put myself more RGB LED strips but very very high quality ones anything strips don't really get it much better than this anyway we have an extension cable this connects to something and this is an extension cable okay I don't know how exactly I'm going to be connecting this to the existing LED strips but I guess I'm gonna have to figure it out one way or another so yeah here they are you know that they're both magnetic LED strips very good stuff not all companies have magnetic LED strips but those they do thank you especially for pcs they're very handy as you can see here's proof that they only need magnetic you can stick them onto your case just like that if you want to know more about NZXT xu+ I could make a dedicated video about their whole lighting system and their software and stuff if you guys want me to so if you do want me to let me know in the comment section down below of course but in the meantime I'll leave a link in the description down below or you can press a card right here that will take you to my pc build which i posted a couple days ago on and that video showcases are quite a few LED strip functions and stuff that has eats the office that's pretty much it for this video I bought myself a Bluetooth USB dongle for my ear pods which works and I'm buried happy about I could finally edit all my videos with headphones or earphones which are airports which I love a post we also bought ourselves a USB card reader like dock type thing definitely bouncing underneath the desk and alongside it I'm also going to be mounting this USB 3.0 more port hub from anchor of course anchor make fantastic products as you probably know and we also bought ourselves more RGB LED strips from NZ XD because I love RGB LED strips also you may have noticed that I do have an extra LED strip that wasn't there before so let me show you all about it underneath my table here we have my sub woofer for my sound blaster X katana sound bar and the subwoofer I thought why don't we put an LED strip behind there I mean what harm can it do really I mean it looks cool I guess I've got you gotta set a fade it's not a smart LED strip however I will be contacting my buddies over at symphonia and hopefully they can hook me up with a smart controller or the USB LED strip so I can control it with my Amazon echo my bonus stuff and yeah that's pretty much it pull this video thank you ever so much for watching I really appreciate it and I hope to see you guys in another video soon youhello
