Greetings Lovelies: A Taste Test with Emmy Eats
Hello everyone, it's your favorite foodie, Emmy, welcome back to my channel! Today, I'm excited to share with you a delicious treat that was sent to me by Little Miss J from Scotland. This lovely student wanted to introduce me to some of her favorite sweets and treats, and I couldn't be more grateful.
The first item on the list is the Fry's Peppermint Cream Bar. This chocolate bar looks absolutely stunning, with its simple embossing and dark chocolate wrapper. As soon as I opened the package, I was hit with a heavenly scent that reminded me of a York patty or an after-dinner treat. The aroma was so inviting that I couldn't wait to take a bite. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The combination of mint and dark chocolate is one of my absolute favorites, and this bar delivers.
The texture of the bar is sublime, with a lovely melty quality from the dark chocolate that's balanced by the coolness of the peppermint. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by how similar it tasted to a York Peppermint Patty, but with a few key differences. There's less fondant in this bar, which allows the dark chocolate to take center stage. And let me tell you, it's a game-changer. The amount of dark chocolate is generous, and I appreciate that there's no artificial sweetness to overpower the natural flavors.
As someone who loves mint chip ice cream, I have to say that this bar takes the cake. It's like a match made in heaven, with the peppermint and dark chocolate working together in perfect harmony. My mom calls mint chip ice cream "toothpaste," but I think she might be wrong – this bar is definitely something special.
I want to thank Little Miss J again for sending me this delicious treat. Sorry that I didn't get to try it on camera earlier, as I had already enjoyed the other items she sent me. But I hope you guys enjoy watching me take a bite of this tasty bar!
Polish Greetings and Biscuits
Hello everyone, welcome back to my channel! Today, I'm excited to share with you another treat from Little Miss J's collection. As it turns out, this lovely student is originally from Germany, and she wanted to introduce me to some of her favorite sweets from back home.
One of the items on the list is a German candy bar called Reason Um. Now, I know what you're thinking – German candy bars are not exactly well-known in the UK, so I was excited to try this one out. And let me tell you, it's definitely a unique flavor combination. The bar has a lovely texture and a delicious aroma that I couldn't get enough of.
The flavor itself is quite complex, with notes of mint, chocolate, and something else entirely. It's hard to describe, but trust me when I say it's absolutely delightful. I loved the fact that there was no artificial sweetness in this bar, just pure, natural flavors that worked together beautifully.
As a fan of mint chip ice cream, I have to say that this bar is definitely up there with some of my favorites. The combination of peppermint and dark chocolate is one of my absolute weaknesses, and this bar delivers on both counts. And let me tell you, the quality of the ingredients is top-notch – this is not a cheap or mass-produced candy bar.
Thanks again to Little Miss J for sending me this tasty treat from Germany. I hope you guys enjoy watching me take a bite out of this delicious bar!
