I Must Return to My People: A Vlog Experience with David Franks

As I sat down to record this vlog, I couldn't help but think about my recent experience with David Franks. We met at his home, and he was excitedly getting ready for a two and a half hour flight. successful day for me just productivity all around because look at this guys i took a few hours out of my evening to take out all these boxes that for whatever reason i decided to save them in my basement now i will admit i'm definitely a pack rat when it comes to boxes but really david did you have to keep a box for a freaking toaster oven no which means that box has been here for at least two years because what the actually that was my what came in that box looks like the size of an ipad i'm not sure but anyway it's been about two years since i moved in isn't that awesome time just freaking flies it needs to slow down but anyway my point of that is i bought that toaster oven when i moved in so yeah but still why do i keep so many boxes do you guys have the same problem now with apple boxes most of them i keep especially the more milestone like purchases if that makes sense you know like my mac pro my ipad my first ipad i sold so the first box went with it to the seller on ebay but i do have an original ipad box i believe it's my mom's or my dad's which is awesome so i have that box still and i have all my iphone boxes because as you know i have my eye shrine i don't i don't sell my iphones and all that good stuff coffee time yo this brings me back yo i used to love kid rock so and i i mean i still do he's not nearly what he used to be but um i watched the first episode of silicon valley last night on hbo go it was really really good definitely my kind of show just all this tech talk multiple mentions of steve jobs and all these companies google it was really connected my usb 3.0 hub to my mac pro now i do have bad news unfortunately as of yesterday i have officially killed project end table it just didn't work out so there's the end table all of the led lights are pretty much fastened for the most part you can see where the mac pro was sitting yesterday it's funny it kind of formed a circle and under the end table is a crapload of cables for my led strips which in theory dear lord this is a beautiful sight like getting him like a walrus which in theory would have looked cool it wasn't exactly what i wanted though the usb hub location whatever you want to call it placements alongside the mac pro and having long enough cables for my asus monitors yeah i realize i can buy longer cables but all these factors were just suddenly coming into play and i'm like maybe it's not meant to be at least with this table i will be buying another table soon i just got to do more research i'm thinking like a circular table because even with the mac pro here we had all of this empty space and it just didn't look right so i definitely want to find a round table that fits the size of a mac pro pretty closely and then i'll probably buy a different set of leds because the current ones i'm using are strips and they're like at least this long and they're not really going to fit on a circle you know sized end table so i'm thinking of buying like a bunch of leds like dots so i can more freely place them and shining down on the mac pro will look awesome but all hope is not lost with this end table this will be moved into my living room alongside my entertainment center because it just happens to be black everything in there is black at least this side of the living room my tv is black my entertainment center well it's not black but it's it blends in my speakers are black xbox one's black ps4 is black my wii u is black so you see what i'm saying yeah black power so that actually kind of worked out in the end and i'll i guess i'll handle this is the main room guys look how big it is looks awesome dual beds obviously we're not going to be sleeping next to each other couch comes with a dlb nice table another chair i'm gift with purchase isn't this awesome david it's very nice and it wasn't that expensive i mean it was i tell you what yeah it was not much more than one night at the desert palms okay and yeah look what we get it's expensive in seaside because you're by the ocean that's why this makes up for the desert palms last year yeah you bring that up so much but make it clear luna mar is nice i've said it over and over again i know i know it is my goal to spread the word to not waste your money at the desert palms yeah okay anti-desert palm hashtag and this view is incredible isn't it the view this view is amazing it's just an awesome awesome view and it's very interesting because we're not on the strip so this is a different view that i'm used to seeing but that's kind of a good thing is i like mixing it up and we get a very large samsung tv i want to say maybe 50 inch my four actually maybe maybe 46. my my uh tv is 46. now this is probably like 50. okay now i'm just arguing to myself very large desk and i was just telling david this is the perfect kind of room to come back to after like a ces type show where you get your macbook pros lined up here tripods video with natural light and you can discuss have meetings and everything regarding latest products are you gonna hold a board meeting in here david yeah yeah yeah you could you could do like a presentation on the tv you can have like people here all official like you don't sit on the bed you sit on the chair yeah and the couch is very comfy it really is and look at the bathroom guys it's like entirely marble most of it just very nice this bathroom is bigger than my kitchen we get dual sinks dual mirrors forgive the white balance it will fix itself eventually a bathroom a bathroom a toilet with a phone next to it so i guess if you're stuck in the toilet you can call for help shower very nice shower look at this live step in this is just really really nice very large bathtub just awesome an area to get ready more mirrors i love me some mirrors and we are back into the main room where david's taking more pictures there's the room tour if this is not sweet then i don't know what is just like that we're in caesars david with homekit which is built into ios 8 which is nice so i think over time as apple introduces some home kit apps for devices and apps then um they'll take over nest where is a tiny i love it here my first box went with it to the seller on ebay but i do have an original ipad box i believe it's my mom's or my dad's which is awesome so i have that box still and i have all my iphone boxes because as there's the end table all of the led lights are pretty much fastened for the most part you can see where the mac pro was sitting yesterday it's funny it kind of formed a circle and under the end table is a crapload of cables for my led strips which in theory dear lord this is a beautiful sight like getting him like a walrus which in theory would have looked cool it wasn't exactly what i wanted though the usb hub location whatever you want to call it placements alongside the mac pro and having long enough cables for my asus monitors yeah i realize i can buy longer cables but all these factors were just suddenly coming into play and i'm like maybe it's not meant to be at least with this table i will be buying another table soon i just got to do more research i'm thinking like a circular table because even with the mac pro here we had all of this empty space and it just didn't look right so i definitely want to find a round table that fits the size of a mac pro pretty closely and then i'll probably buy a different set of leds because the current ones i'm using are strips and they're like at least this long and they're not really going to fit on a circle you know sized end table so i'm thinking of buying like a bunch of leds like dots so i can more freely place them and shining down on the mac pro will look awesome but all hope is not lost with this end table this will be moved into my living room alongside my entertainment center because it just happens to be black everything in there is black at least this side of the living room my tv is black my entertainment center well it's not black but it's it blends in my speakers are black xbox one's black ps4 is black my wii u is black so you see what i'm saying yeah black power so that actually kind of worked out first box went with it to the seller on ebay but i do have an original ipad box i believe it's my mom's or my dad's which is awesome so i have that box still and i have all my iphone boxes because as there's the end table all of the led lights are pretty much fastened for the most part you can see where the mac pro was sitting yesterday it's funny it kind of formed a circle and under the end table is a crapload of cables for my led strips which in theory dear lord this is a beautiful sight like getting him like a walrus which in theory would have looked cool it wasn't exactly what i wanted though the usb hub location whatever you want to call it placements alongside the mac pro and having long enough cables for my asus monitors yeah i realize i can buy longer cables but all these factors were just suddenly coming into play and i'm like maybe it's not meant to be at least with this table i will be buying another table soon i just got to do more research i'm thinking like a circular table because even with the mac pro here we had all of this empty space and it just didn't look right so i definitely want to find a round table that fits the size of a mac pro pretty closely and then i'll probably buy a different set of leds because the current ones i'm using are strips and they're like at least this long and they're not really going to fit on a circle you know sized end table so i'm thinking of buying like a bunch of leds like dots so i can more freely place them and shining down on the mac pro will look awesome but all hope is not lost with this end table this will be moved into my living room alongside my entertainment center because it just happens to be black everything in there is black at least this side of the living room my tv is black my entertainment center well it's not black but it's it blends in my speakers are black xbox one's black ps4 is black my wii u is black so you see what i'm saying yeah black power so that actually kind of worked out
