Airpods PRO VS Airpods 2 VS AirPods 1

**Apple AirPods Review: A Comprehensive Comparison**

As I begin this review, I'll be testing the Apple AirPods Gen 1 and Gen 2 alongside the latest addition to the series, the AirPods Pro. My goal is to compare their performance in various aspects, including sound quality, mic accuracy, wireless connectivity, features, and personal experience.

**Testing Sound Quality**

First, let's test the sound quality of each model. For this, I'll use the AirPods Gen 1 in my ears and speak into it, while also testing the AirPods Gen 2 and AirPods Pro with a phone call. The crowd effect background noise will be added to further test their capabilities.

**Testing Sound Quality (Gen 1)**

Okay, so I'm going to use the AirPods Gen 1 in my ears right now. This is my quality you can expect from them. Testing testing one two three... I hope they sound pretty good. I mean, they are the first gen, so we'll see how they compare.

**Testing Sound Quality (Gen 2)**

Okay, now I'm using the AirPods Gen 2 in my ears. This is my quality you can expect from them if you're on a phone call or anything like that. Testing testing one two three... this we can hear through the microphones on the AirPods Gen 2.

**Testing Sound Quality (AirPods Pro)**

Okay, so I'm now using the AirPods Pro in my ears. This is my quality you can expect from them. Testing testing one two three...

**Background Noise Test**

Now that we have our sound quality test complete, let's add background noise to further test their capabilities. The exact same background noises as the other ones that I was testing and it's the same volume.

Testing testing one two three... I hope you can hear me pretty good still through the background noise and yeah...

**Comparison of Sound Quality**

In my ears right now are the AirPods Pro, and this is my quality you can expect from them. Um, they should be a step up from the previous generation and yeah, I will also be including the uh background noise. We're gonna see how they do with that.

Ready, get set, go! Now for the background noise of a stadium... and hopefully it sounds pretty good still, and you can just hear me talking...

**Features and Cool Things**

Moving on to features and cool things about the headphones, two of the three have wireless charging - the Pros and the Gen 2. They all have LED indicators on them, the twos and the pros do have Hey Siri support, they all have quick charging for the headphones... You can change the name on all of them but for the ones and twos you can change the touch functions...

The touch functions for the Pros are single squeeze on either side of player pause and music, double squeeze on either side go to the next song. Triple squeeze on either side of the previous song, and squeeze and hold for them to go transparency to noise cancellation or vice versa for the ones and the twos... they are double tap on both sides you get to edit your options and you can choose what options you want...

**Personal Experience**

I'm still working on this area but now for this area all right. After using all three of these AirPods side by side for the past few days, this is my conclusion: They're all great devices and they're all incremental improvements upon each other. Uh, I'd say the smallest upgrade is between the one and the two, and then the big big upgrade is between the Pro and the rest of them...

The AirPods Gen 2 is better at some things, and the AirPods Pro in my opinion sometimes isn't as good... but yeah, I haven't had really very many issues with them. They they connect well, they do everything well and uh yeah all right.

**Conclusion**

Thank you so much for watching! Make sure like subscribe and peace out!

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey what is up youtube welcome to the custom of interest so today i'll be comparing the airpods pro to the airpods gen 1 and gen 2. all right so i'll be using the ca scoring method 2.0 to compare these three headphones all right getting right into the packaging they all come in pretty small white boxes but for the pros it's a bit bigger than the rest of them it is bigger on the side but it's pretty much the same dimensions for the rest of the box all three of them have images of the headphones on the front of the case with the name on the top of the box and apple logos on the sides on the back of the box they have images of the headphones in the case but they're all different the first one has image with the case with a plug below that the second just has the gen 2 case with nothing pros just have the new design on the back all right opening the three at the same time i just have to say that they are all very satisfying to open you get the design by apple and california insert for all three below those you get all the headphones in their little rap and below that for all is a charging cable but i will note the one on the pros is lighting to usb type-c where the others are usb type-c to type a now for the design of the cases the first two generations have two very similar designs and the pro is where things actually change for the gen 2 and the pros i have my channel name engraved on it custom adventurist i mean subscribe if you haven't already the gen 1 doesn't have an led on the outside like the newer two because the gen one doesn't have wireless charging they all have the same charging port on the bottom of the headphones and the same cutout where the lid is that helps you open the cases on the back of the cases they have the same shape button and same shape and size button but they're all in different locations for the gen ones it's on the lower half of the case for the gen 2s it's in the middle of the case and for the pros it's also in the middle of the case they all have the design by apple and california text below the lid below the hinge of the lid but the hinge has changed throughout all three generations the first is a shiny metal hinge the second is a matte metal but pretty much the same shape as the first and the pro is just a new design hinge and it's also matte just like the twos for satisfaction of like the lid closing i would say that my favorite one is the gen ones it just has the sharpest and most satisfying snap the second i would give to the pros their snap may not be as satisfying but it just feels more secure and higher quality feeling and the last of the gen 2 is just a bad combo between the two but ultimately they all are really satisfying now for the design of the headphones for gen 1 and 2 they are exactly the same literally no difference they only have hey siri and that's software but for the pros there's actually a significant change they are shaped much different first of all the stem is significantly smaller it also has an in-ear style headphone it has different ear sensors and grills there is also a different method to do touch controls the old one you just tap them and on the new one there's like this little taptic pad on the side and you squeeze it and it gives you haptic feedback and it's on the side of the stem the charging methods are also different on the bottom on the the head part of the pro it is much larger and personally i like the fit on the original air pods better they just sit in your ear so perfect but i can see why other people would like the pro better for me personally i could wear the old version for four hours straight all the way through the battery life but the pros i get a bit more ear wear than the others and i have to take them out because my ears get a little tired from the in-ear part of the headphones all right now for the price of the headphones you can get the gen ones for around 120 bucks but you can only get them like refurbished and stuff you can't really buy them brand new anymore for the gen 2s with the wireless charging you get them for like 165 around there and for the pros 250 bucks now for the audio quality of the headphones for the gen ones and twos i want to be completely honest they sound exactly the same to me but for the pros i would definitely say that they sound better than the two previous versions but it's for different reasons than you'd think when you are in the noise canceling mode you can hear the music better and the details don't drown out from the background noise like the previous version but i would say that the ones and twos are a bit louder than the throws not sure why but that's from my experience all right now for the battery life of the headphones for gen 1 and 2 you can get around 4 hours of audio playback with an additional 24 hours with the case for the pros you can get 5 hours without active noise cancellation but if you use the active noise cancellation you get around 4.5 hours with an extra 24 hours with the case now for the connectivity of three alright so now i'll be showing the pairing process between the three headphones and yeah let's get to it alright so we are now in the bluetooth menu we're going to start with the airpods gen1 open the case connect hold the button down and just like that they are paired alright now for the gen 2s and just like that their thing pops up all right now for the airpods pros just like that they pop up with the airpods pro you get little media screens right here tells you about the whole thing and uh yeah we're gonna be showing how fast they pair when you pull them out of the case all right ready there we go and they're paired all right now for the gentoos all right and now for the airpods pros boom connected very speedy all right so now i'm going to be doing the distance test between the three airpods to see how far they can get from the phone before they start disconnecting anything like that and uh yeah let's get it started now for the mic quality all right so in my ears right now are the air pods gen one and this is my quality you can expect from them testing testing one two three i hope they sound pretty good i mean they are the first gen so we'll see how they compare and uh yeah i will also be doing the crowd effect in the background to see how they do with the background like that starting that right now all right now so there's a crowd effect in the background and i'm just talking to airpods phone call whatever i'm in the crowd and uh yeah testing testing one two three i hope they don't sound horrible and that you can actually hear my voice and uh yeah all right so in my ears right now are the air pods at gen 2 and this is my quality you expect from them if you're on a phone call or anything like that so testing testing one two three this we can hear through the microphones on the airpods gen 2 i will also be doing background noise on this and i'll be coming up in a few seconds so testing testing one two three all right now for the background noise all right now there's background noises the exact same as the other ones that i was testing and it's the same volume and yeah so testing testing one two three i hope you can hear me pretty good still through the background noise and yeah all right so in my ears right now are the air pods pro and this is my quality you can expect from them testing testing one two three i hope they sound pretty good um they should be a step up from the previous generation and yeah i will also be including the uh background noise and we're gonna see how they do with that ready get set go all right now we have background noise of a stadium and hopefully it sounds pretty good still and you can just hear me talking and uh yeah so testing testing one two three turn the volume up even more as high as it can go and uh yeah let's go now for the features and cool things about the
