Mi Band HRX Edition Unboxing & Compared to Mi Band 2

**First Impressions: Xiaomi Mi Band HRX**

As I picked up the Xiaomi Mi Band HRX, I could sense that it was going to be an interesting experience. The device itself feels light and compact, with a 0.42 OLED display that is perfect for checking your fitness stats on the go. The band also comes equipped with Bluetooth support, allowing you to pair it with both Android and iOS devices.

To get started, I downloaded the Mi Fit app on my smartphone, which was already paired with an old Xiaomi band. The process of setting up the new HRX was relatively straightforward, although I did notice that it took a couple of attempts for it to successfully pair with my phone. It's worth noting that if you have a prior Mi Band device, it may not work seamlessly with this new one.

**Unboxing and Initial Impressions**

As soon as I opened the box, I was greeted by the sleek design of the HRX. The band itself feels sturdy, but not too heavy, making it comfortable to wear all day long. The display is small but crisp, and I appreciate the additional features such as haptic feedback and notification alerts.

I must say that I was a bit disappointed with the battery life, which Xiaomi claims to be around 23 days. However, I've found that this device still managed to get me about 15-16 hours of usage on my old Mi Band HRX, so it's not significantly better than its predecessor in terms of battery life.

**Specs and Features**

The HRX comes equipped with a range of features, including step tracking, active time, distance traveled, and calorie burn. While these stats are accurate, I was surprised to find that the device does not come with a heart rate sensor. This is a notable omission, especially considering that many other fitness bands on the market include this feature.

In contrast, my previous review of the Honor Band 3 included a more comprehensive set of features, including heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking. If you're someone who places great importance on these features, I would recommend checking out the Honor Band 3 instead.

**Comparison with Other Options**

Ultimately, the choice between the Xiaomi Mi Band HRX and other options comes down to your priorities. If you just want a basic fitness tracker that tracks your daily activity, sleep, and calories burned, then the HRX is an excellent option at a relatively affordable price point of around 2,800 rupees.

However, if you're looking for more advanced features such as heart rate monitoring or sleep tracking, you may need to stretch your budget slightly further. In this case, I would recommend considering the Honor Band 3, which offers a range of additional features while still being relatively affordable.

**Conclusion**

As I concluded my first impressions of the Xiaomi Mi Band HRX, I couldn't help but feel that it's an excellent option for those looking for a basic fitness tracker at a budget-friendly price point. While it may not offer some of the more advanced features of its competitors, it still manages to deliver on its core promise of tracking your daily activity and sleep.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi there this is run cheat and in this video we'll be doing the unboxing and have a look at this me Band HR X edition and this is a Fitness band by Xiaomi and I also have the me bank - so we'll compare what is different and I also have the honor band 3 with me so we'll give you a quick summary at the end of the video which might be better this meat band hrx is the most affordable it is sold in India for 1299 that is about 1300 rupees available also on Amazon India and this you might mistake that it says H R X that means it will have a heart rate sensor but sadly this is not having a heart rate sensor HR X means ethic transition Edition so I don't know why they went with that one so you have finally able to take it out so we have the band itself so that's what you get first you see the band itself so you can take that out this is like just the me band r2 as you can see this is the tracker itself and this is the meat band - and let me take out the meat band - also this is the meat band - that we have and if you look at it this is the headshot X edition this does not have the heart rate sensor whereas the original beam and - had a heart rate sensor but this is for almost 2,000 rupees this is for 1300 rupees so this is missing the heart rates sensor and Xiaomi is claiming about a battery life of about 23 days on this one with this original me man - I was getting about 15 to 16 days of battery life so definitely as it lacks that heart rate sensor are you getting slightly better battery life and apart from that you get the band itself where you will put your tracker and you'll also get this small cable using which you will charge and again don't lose this if you lose this you won't be able to charge this so you just plug this end to your computer's USB port or charger that you have USB charger and plug it in like this and that is the way you will be able to charge this one and you again this is a standard rubberband that you're getting so you can open this and you can put your tracker inside this the good thing is that this is also water resistant up to that is ip67 so you can actually it's safe if what if splashes on this or anything like that nothing will happen al so this actually goes and it's a new one that's why it's tight but after a few days it becomes easy as you can see it will go in like this one and let me give you a quick specs Xiaomi was claiming about 23 days of battery life on this one ib 67 it has a display that is a 0.42 OLED display it has bluetooth for support and it works both with Android and iOS and obviously you have to use a smart phone and pair it with the me app so I'm going to use that me fit up you can download it I'm using Android again it's also available on iOS so let me try to power this on I think so I might need to charge this a little bit so I'm back I have charged this one a little bit as you can see and but you have to pair it with the smart phone and as I've mentioned you have to use this me FET app and login to your account I have logged in and from here go to add device and select this band option and it will try to say that it will so keep the band me abaya as you can see it's going to search for the same and obviously switch on Bluetooth because this is going to sink over bluetooth so the spreading they can take a couple of seconds and sometimes with the first attempt it didn't pair so you have to just try it a couple of times that's what I've noticed so as you can see it peered at gave me haptic feedback and now it's just peering and it's a spade successfully so now it has Spade and it detected that it's the hrx model not showing us the battery I didn't charge it for the about 10% only so you can have these notification you can do the screen and unlock incoming call it as it has a display it will just show you the number alarms you can set and you can also have app alerts and you have to obviously give permission for that so those options are there and also idle alert as there and I haven't have walked right now so it's not showing anything but if you have used earlier me band you have two unpaired that because it was earlier played to this one the me band to it was not allowing me to pay to this one so if you have a prior any band you have two unpaired that just be aware of that so as it's a to me show me the old activity that I have done this was just a couple of months when I reviewed it as you can see this was the data with the me band too so you'll get several data but again with this one as it does not have any heart rate sensor so you won't get the heart rate so it tracks your number of steps the active time that you have the distance will show an kilometers and the calorie burn in sub so this is the stats that you will get even with this man but no heart rate sensor that you'll be getting on this one the battery life is slightly better on this hrx because obviously it does not have that heart rate monitoring so Xiaomi is claiming about 23 days of battery life this one with the heart rate the me band to was giving me about 15 years of battery life but the heart rate monitor on this main band 2 was not super accurate I would say so if you are a person who is not bothered too much about the heart rate tracking and you want an affordable band you can definitely go with this me band a chart X but if you are really into heart rate tracking and you want very accurate sleep tracking then I would suggest this honor band 3 which I reviewed a couple of last month I I think so this one tracks the heart rate very accurately and also the sleep tracking is actually done very well on this one I have already posted its in depth to you but the con with this one is this is significantly more expensive this sells for about two thousand eight hundred rupees and the battery life also is not as good as the me ban this will give you about seven days of battery life so again you have to decide what you want if you just want a basic tracker how much you have walked every day basic sleep tracking and stuff then this me bank HR X might be for you but if heart rate and stuff is more important and you can stretch your budget to about two thousand eight hundred rupees and you can live with that about seven days of battery life then I feel the honor band 3 might be a better bet I can now leave the lake for the honor band three review in the description area so guys that's it for now for this quick unboxing and first look at this me band hrx if you still have any other specific
