The iPhone 10R: A Raw Performance Beast in Disguise
As I watched the latest news on the upcoming iPhone 10R, I couldn't help but feel that this new device is going to surprise a lot of people with its raw performance. With fewer moving parts in general when it comes to hardware and software, it just feels like this is going to be a phone that's all about delivering raw power. This reminds me of the iPhone SE, a new generation iPhone SE because that phone really surprised a lot of people with just how powerful it was, how raw, how much raw power was in that phone.
The idea of an older iPhone model being compared to newer ones may seem unusual, but it's actually quite common in the tech world. For example, comparing older iPhones like the Mac's to their newer counterparts can be a great way to gauge just how far technology has come. And that's exactly what we're going to do with the iPhone 10R and the Note 9 in our upcoming speed tests. We'll be putting these two phones up against each other to see which one comes out on top, and I have no doubt that it's going to be a close competition.
One area where the iPhone 10R is definitely going to surprise people is in its camera capabilities. Now, at first glance, the single rear-facing camera may seem like a drawback, but trust me, this is not going to be an issue. The iPhone 10R still has all the same photo and video features as the iPhone 10S and 10S Max, including portrait mode, smart HDR, and more. This means that users will still get amazing results from their photos and videos, even without a dual-lens setup.
However, one feature that the iPhone 10R does not have is optical zoom. This means that instead of being able to simply tap on the screen and zoom in, users will have to use other methods to achieve this effect. But for me, personally, I've never been interested in using optical zoom on my photos anyway, so this isn't a major concern.
Another area where the iPhone 10R is going to shine is in its price. Starting at $749, it's an extremely competitive price point that makes it a great option for anyone looking to upgrade their phone without breaking the bank. And with the variety of colors available, including coral, black, and white, there's something for everyone.
Some people may be comparing the iPhone 10R to older models like the 5C, saying that it's going to look cheap or plasticky. But from everything I've seen so far, these phones are going to look premium, not cheap. The materials feel great in the hand, and the colors are just going to look a lot better than they did on the 5C.
Overall, I think the iPhone 10R is going to be an amazing phone that surprises people in multiple different ways. With its raw performance, amazing camera capabilities, competitive price point, and premium build quality, it's definitely one to keep an eye on. And as for pre-orders, they're already starting at 12 a.m. Pacific time, 3 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, so don't miss out!
