Apple created a campaign that now allows you to get a little bit of a kind of sign up bonus or referral bonus but let's talk about it so the way that this promotion works this is all done inside of your own Apple card account and what Apple's doing is offering up to $200 of daily cash back which is essentially just $200 that can be used as a debit card on your Apple wallet or can even be transferred into Apple's high yield savings account which I believe gives you 4.25% right now as of the time of recording this which does add up nicely over time but the way that this is done is that Apple's incentivizing getting co-owners on the card as well as participants so if you do have a family plan and you have the Apple card you can have up to six people using the same Apple card so obviously you have the main user which in this case let's say it's myself and then you can add a co-owner and that's how you get the first $100 directly from Apple so if that co-owner reaches a minimum span of $100 over the first 30 days days then Apple gives you those $100 immediately into the Daily Apple cash that can be used either right away used to pay off a statement or like I said earlier move to your high yield savings account so then that leaves four other slots open in the family plan for the Apple card as well as an additional $100 and the way that this works is that you can actually add four more people as participants and not co-owners participants are exactly what it sounds like it's kind of just a lower tier of user where you add limits to the card and as I said you can add up to four different participants and each one of them will give you up to $25 once they spend $25 over the first 30 days so the minimum spend requirement is relatively low which is nice to see so it is kind of easy if you are in the perfect situation where you have a family of six or maybe a friend or something like that where you want to give this to in order for them to meet that minimum spend and then you get that $100 or that $25 or in totality the $200 immediately
