Welcoming You to Barbecue Pit Boys: A Journey Through Sausage and Grill
I'm going down to the house of sausage, I've got my barbecue shoes on, and welcome to barbecue pit boys.com today we're cooking up some pork bacon rolls on the grill, and they're real easy to do. All right, we've got some bacon you're going to need some uh center cut pork chops boneless here I've got some scallions green onions and uh here I've got some pepper jack cheese. You want to choose the cheese you like and here's granulated salt pepper and garlic.
Let me show you how to put this together, now this here is a kind of the perfect recipe man for well if you're tailgating or uh or you got the Daytona 500 coming up or the Super Bowl whatever this is simple to do beforehand get ready before the Bros show up. And here we're going to take one of these chops throw it in a bag and put a little salt pepper garlic in there and what we want to do is flatten it out, we want to thin it out as much as we can and uh you'll see why we're going to do this, this here will tenderize it and make it easy for rolling up just like that.
Now I'm going to take some of this scallion here, this green onion, and uh chop up a few pieces, we'll use it for a little bit of stuffing. Here I've got some pepper jack cheese, you use the cheese you want, I don't use any cheese at all, you want to get creative on this now if you've never had one of these pork bacon rolls before you definitely got to check this out, you're good.
Now I'm going to take a regular slice pork belly bacon, this is American pork belly bacon, American style, we're going to wrap it of course the Bacon's going to keep this uh pork Cho together all right simple enough just like that. Now I'm going to make a few more here drop up some onion now if you got some of that sweet Viada onion or Texas SED or walaw Wala man you can use that again, take another one of these boneless center cut pork chops little salt pepper garlic in there in there then pound it out get it nice and thin.
Oh yeah same routine like I said though you can get creative on this add what you want in here, here I've got some uh little bit of drops of uh hot sauce I'm going add some more of that pepper jack cheese we're talking about creating layers of flavor here roll it up grab some bacon man it don't get any easier than that. Now let's take a close look at this pork bacon roll, you uh tender foots want see it nice and close.
Now you don't need a bag but sometimes a bag keeps that keeps that pork from flying all over the place, you know what I mean, that might want to trim a little of the fat off that's up to you, oh yeah baby some more of that green onion, little salt pepper garlic, little more jack cheese roll her up grab some more bacon.

will have time to constrict around this pork chop oh yeah we got about 350° Fahrenheit going on in there it's only going to take about 45 minutes to do these now about 20 minutes is into this you can see the bacon is constricted and tight this is where we're going to add another layer of flavor you want to use your favorite barbecue sauce throw the lid on for another 10 minutes or so oh yeah flip these put some more sauce on the other side take a look at that definitely might don't make a bunch of these man there ain't going to be no leftovers throw on some more sauce you smell that you this smells good throw the cover on need will be done in about another 10 minutes maybe 15 minutes the most all right these pork bacon rolls are done have nothing left to do now but serve them up now you
