**Mint in Santa Monica: A Conversation with Austin Pearce**
In this exclusive interview, we had the chance to sit down with Mint, a talented artist from Santa Monica, and talk about his latest projects and experiences. As a seasoned performer, Mint has been on tour extensively, including a recent stint in New Zealand that lasted for almost two months. "I was on tour for like month and a half," he recalled, "it was crazy." During this time, he also had the opportunity to document his life through a new project called "Adventures," which serves as a soundtrack for creatives.
The "Adventures" project is a culmination of Mint's life experiences over the past year, with each track representing a specific moment or lesson learned. The album was created using voice memos that Mint had recorded throughout his travels and everyday moments, weaving together music and storytelling to create an immersive experience. When asked about the creative process behind "Adventures," Mint explained, "it's basically just my life last year in my life encompassed into one project." With a release date set for early 2019, fans can expect an exciting new listen from this talented artist.
**Tech and Gadgets**
When it comes to tech, Mint has always been drawn to Apple products. His current MacBook Pro is his go-to device for recording music and creating content. "I'm only with Apple products now," he admitted, reflecting on his past experience as a homeless individual who had to adapt to new circumstances. Although he enjoyed gaming in the past, he explained that his priorities have shifted since then. Now, when it comes to consoles, Mint is eyeing the Nintendo Switch, citing its portability and versatility as major draws.
Mint also shared his thoughts on Apple's recent announcements, including the release of the MacBook Air and iPad Pro models. While he hasn't made a final decision on which device to choose, he expressed interest in the iPad Pro for its capabilities in graphic design and video editing. As someone who spends extensive time creating content, Mint appreciates the importance of having the right tools at his disposal.
**360 Camera Experience**
One of the most impressive aspects of our conversation with Mint was his experience with 360 cameras. During a shoot with his friend Cory Howell, they used a specialized camera that could capture panoramic images on both sides. The result was a stunning video that appeared to be shot from a drone's perspective. Mint explained, "we basically just stitched it together to give it that little big planet effect." This experience inspired him to experiment with similar techniques in the future.
Mint also shared his thoughts on conspiracy theories surrounding 360 cameras and flat-earthers. Although he didn't explicitly address these topics during our conversation, it's clear that he values creativity and innovation over speculation or misinformation.
**Parting Words**
As we wrapped up our conversation with Mint, he offered some parting words of encouragement to aspiring artists and creatives out there. "I'm all about following your passion," he said, emphasizing the importance of staying true to oneself in the face of adversity.
For those looking to stay up-to-date on Mint's latest projects and adventures, he recommends following him on social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Spotify. With a growing fan base and an increasingly impressive discography, it's clear that Mint is someone to watch in the world of music and art. We're excited to see what the future holds for this talented artist, and we look forward to having him back on our show in the near future.
