Today's Plan: A Spontaneous Guitar Center Visit
So today's plan was to go side by side stabbing, which I think involved me and Tommy Thai running, but things didn't quite work out as planned. We had to bail on that schedule we originally planned, and instead, I found myself going straight to Guitar Center because I've been dying to get an acoustic guitar for ages. I know I've been talking about this since like November, and my friends haven't given me much help, so I figured it was time to just go there and pick one out. I may or may not have spent like two hours playing every guitar in the store, and I ended up going a bit over budget, but hey, I got a guitar and I'm super happy with it.
The Guitar: A Tailor-Made Acoustic
I won an acoustic guitar probably for a very long time, and I was stoked. When I went to Guitar Center, I was a little self-conscious about playing in front of people, so they have this little acoustic room where I could just play around with all the guitars without anyone else being there. The dude just let me play with them, and no one was in there, which was awesome. I got to spend some time just playing and not making a rush decision because of what others might think. It really helped me get a feel for the guitars and make a more informed decision.
The Side-by-Sides: A Fun Ride
Although we didn't have time to go to the side-by-side place that we wanted to today, we're going to take them over to that local spot instead. Chris is going to ride a bike while I'm excited to get to try this thing with all the new stuff in the woods. I was a bit scared at first because I don't like jumping on these things, but it's just more fun to do rally-style and play around in the dirt. We're ripping through the trails and having a blast.
Ride Review: The Supra and Two-Wheel Drive
I've been needing to put together a little montage with my Supra for a Facebook promo thing, so I decided to take some behind-the-scenes footage of how that process works. It's nothing too crazy – just me playing around with the car, setting up some sliders, and adding some music over it. The car looks phenomenal right now since it's all clean, so I figured I might as well do a quick shoot. I also did a podcast with Tommy, but I'm not really sure what even our video is about yet, so I hope you guys like it.
Consensus: A Fun Day Out
So far, everyone seems to be having a great time. Chris has been getting on the side-by-sides and ripping through the trails while I've been enjoying the ride in my Supra. We're talking about how fast this thing is when all-wheel drive kicks in, which makes it go much faster than two-wheel drive. It's also helped keep dirt out of my face and off my clothes, which has been a big plus for me.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enalright so today's plan we were supposed to go side by stabbing I think was like me Tommy Thai running I think we're gonna morrow but Tommy wasn't able to work with the schedule that we originally plans we had to bail on that and I'm like man when we could do today so I may or may not have just gone straight to Guitar Center because I'm dying to get an acoustic guitar I know I've been talking about this since like November and you guys haven't given me a lot of help and I think I'm gonna go if they have one that I want pick one so I may or may not have just spent like probably two hours is playing every gusta guitar in there and I went a little bit over budget but I got a guitar and I'm so happy with it I can't wait to show you guys is it sick so now we got to go back to the shop and work on cars this thing's rad I want to show you guys Chris has been mostly interested I have won an acoustic guitar probably for a very long time but since November I've been talking about in videos and pretty much every single one of you guys was telling me to get a tailor so that's what I got explain to us what a tailor is that's a name for me uh it's a really really nice acoustic guitar well wouldn't you say nice do you mean expensive that's all yeah so so right that's the same I want to know what someone spends on a piece of wood with some strings on it so it's expensive okay okay we're getting somewhere look at these gold clasps oh those are nice what I was gonna say is um so I really wanted one that like me in America like the starting line for that was the Taylor 3-series Monu so his guitar Center the best place to buy a guitar wow dude that's over a thousand right there I walk up with a Porsche Cup right and like I'm thinking the dude's gonna think I'm crazy you don't pull money on the floor she cop she actually thought I was so good at guitar that I was a professional and that was all the money for my shows yeah cuz you would put because I was playing for him and he was like wow you're the best guitars I've ever heard now so you're gonna tell us the pricing that you can edit this out or not if you want your viewers are gonna know once they see the model I really wanted that isn't rosewood on the sides but like I just played a bunch of different ones for a while on this one sound the best so I wanted this color and the like three series but they didn't have it out on the store so I start playing this one and I found out they had that one but I like this one sounded better than like with insurance all other stuff so if I crush that you get a new one yeah so that means I can play mary had a little lamb and you won't care can you like go take a shower I mean alright they were there raw down oh man I haven't even played this thing who cares more about this and it's on great engines this is a piece of wood it's good it's a gern to notice my baby saying just play that wasn't magic you ready for this oh my god you know dude it's such a good guitar honestly sounds good with him playing can you play it I want to hear what it's a boss sound like yeah so okay tied will you get the campfire you get those girls next oh oh and uh get his hat that he was wearing the other day no I want you to play mary had a little lamb wow I'm better than him you're better everyone was saying that like you could really tell the difference if you play a bunch of different ones it is insane like playing this compared to playing some that she runs how long it just like sustains and like just rings out it sounds sick I don't know the song quite hey there Delila -
