The iAdapt USB C Hub for iPad Pro: A Comprehensive Review
I am excited to share with you my experience with the iAdapt USB C hub, designed specifically for the iPad Pro. As an Apple Insider, I had the opportunity to test out this hub and share my thoughts on its performance, features, and overall value.
Upon first glance, the iAdapt hub stands out from other USB C hubs available in the market. Its design is sleek and matte black, making it easy to use with or without the smart Keyboard folio. The hub features a magnetic silicon-covered spacer that allows for seamless integration with the iPad Pro's keyboard. This spacer also provides flexibility, as users can attach or detach it with ease, ensuring a secure fit.
The iAdapt hub boasts an impressive array of ports, including headphone jack, USB C port, SD and microSD card reader, 4K HDMI output, and a speaker grille. What sets this hub apart from others is its unique design, which perfectly fits around the speaker grille on the iPad Pro. This ensures that no cables will protrude or interfere with the device's functionality.
In terms of performance, we are both impressed by the iAdapt hub's ability to connect our devices without any issues. However, we do wish for an additional USB-C port, as this would provide more flexibility and convenience when connecting non-iPad Pro devices. Nevertheless, the existing ports cater to most users' needs, including those with external storage requirements.
The iAdapt hub performs exceptionally well, particularly in conjunction with iOS 13, which is set to launch this fall. When connected to an external storage device, such as our Victorinox USB stick, we can access external storage seamlessly within the Files app and third-party applications that support it. This feature is especially beneficial for users who require access to external files on-the-go.
One of the most significant advantages of the iAdapt hub is its stability and sturdiness. When attaching devices or cables, the hub does not move at all, giving the impression that it was designed specifically for this purpose. The secure fit ensures that no cables will come loose or cause damage to the device.
In conclusion, the iAdapt USB C Hub for iPad Pro offers a range of impressive features and performance capabilities. While there is room for improvement in terms of additional ports, its design, stability, and functionality make it an excellent choice for users seeking a reliable and user-friendly hub. With its compatibility with iOS 13, this hub promises to enhance the overall user experience and provide seamless connectivity to external devices.
As an Apple Insider, I highly recommend the iAdapt USB C Hub for iPad Pro to anyone in need of a high-quality, specifically-designed hub for their iPad Pro. By following the link provided in the description below, you can get your hands on this excellent product at an affordable price.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enis I adapt the best iPad Pro USBC hub we got one to test out what's going on everyone it's Andrew here from Apple Insider and this is the I adapt USB C hub for iPad pro it's got a bevy of different ports and unlike other USB C hubs that have hit the market for iPad this one seems designed from the very beginning for the iPad pro a lot of other hubs look like they were made for a computer first and then in some way modified to work for an iPad the suteki ones they all work just fine with your iPad as well as your Mac same with the hyper one but the iadapt seems actually designed for iPad has a little spacer in here which you can kind of see everything is a nice matte black which makes it hard to show on camera but it's a magnetic silicon covered spacer that allows it to work with or without the smart Keyboard folio on the iPad pro it attaches really easily and extremely solidly simply you take the I adapt to the top right hand corner and slide it into place with or without that smart keyboard folio attached if you have the folio on there just remove that spacer and it's like a glove then just connect the USB C cable otherwise leave the spacer in there and use it without a cover on your iPad once connected you'll see the adapter image appear in that top right-hand corner on the blue background looking at the ports we are both very impressed and slightly disappointed in the offering that is presented so as far as why we're happy and impressed it's pretty much the standard medley of ports that we see on all ipad Center cups from piper suteki they all have pretty much the same configuration the headphone jack a USB C port and SD and micro SD card reader a 4k HDMI output a speaker grille here which is unique to the iadapt it fits perfectly around the speaker grille and a USB a port here on the top so a very good set of ports but we do wish there's maybe one more USB see like we have when we connect a non iPad pro hub now this works even better with iOS 13 that is launching this fall particularly when it comes to external storage so you can see we've connected our Victorinox USB stick right here and open the files app and we have access of that external storage you can plug in hard drives really like any external you have and just move files between them so we'll hub like this becomes really important you're trying to get a lot of work done and you have some external files that you need to deal with you now have access to them in the files app and any third-party applications that support the files app and that Browse function so if we want to move something around so we have some file stored on our sd card I want to move them I can move them straight to my iPad or I can move them to iCloud Drive or in this case I can take a photo copy it and paste it right onto my Victorinox the USB take that out and hand it off the biggest benefit to this thing is how stable and sturdy it is when you're adding your stuff into this it doesn't move at all it feels like it is meant to be there it is held on securely it's not going anywhere we've had no problems actually connecting all of our devices if we had to find any complaints at all as we which there is maybe one more USB see so we get charge and use us PC storage at the same time let me know what you think on Twitter at and your underscore OSU and grab
