Facebook Marketplace Car Hunt Challenge

**The Ultimate Car Showdown**

We're on a mission to find the ultimate car, and today's challenge is to see who can spot the most impressive vehicle. Our contestants, Jimmy, Nolan, and Justin, are competing against each other to find the car that meets specific criteria.

**Round 1: Horsepower**

Jimmy thinks he's found a Camaro with an astonishing 1,800 horsepower. However, we suspect there might be an even more powerful contender lurking in the shadows – a Nitro methane funny car. "My gut says that that Nitro car is going to have more than 1,800 horsepower," says Nolan. After some deliberation, Jimmy concedes and reveals his own find – a Nissan GTR with an 8-second tune capable of 1,000 runs and about 800 on the street tune for $9,000.

**Round 2: Appreciation Value**

Now we're looking for a car that has appreciated significantly above its original MSRP. Justin starts strong by finding a 1971 Plymouth Cuda with an original price of around $4,000 – today's asking price is a whopping $39,000! However, Nolan thinks he can do better and finds a 1968 Lamborghini 400 GT on classics.AutoTrader.com for $389,500. "That means a total appreciation of $371,500!" exclaims Nolan.

**Round 3: Official Nurburgring Time**

The stakes are high in this round as we're looking for the car with the fastest official Nurburgring time and a budget of $5 million. Our contestants dig deep to find the perfect vehicle – Jimmy finds a Mercedes GT Black Series with an impressive 6 minutes 43 seconds, but Justin thinks he can do better by finding a Lamborghini Aventador svj for $799,999. However, Nolan's got one last trick up his sleeve and reveals a Jaguar XJR 15 for $1.75 million.

**The Winner**

And the winner of today's challenge is... Justin! Congratulations to our champion on squeezing another win out of this competition!

end users are manufactured in Tennessee and designed here in California made in a good old USA yeah 100% made in the USA what is the process of getting that correct sound in this R&D facility really we concentrate a lot on what doesn't sound good because the majority of what we're doing is really tuning out the stuff that doesn't sound good good and then we have our own technology to to amplify sounds and I know enough about music to know how chords are made like on a guitar like a power cord so we use the same formulas to create those notes from Organ Pipe technology in our exhaust so it's it's it's very similar to playing a chord on a guitar Automotive musicians baa is the real deal I want to thank David and everyone else here for showing me around and taking care of my F250 back there if you guys want your own exhaust system click the link below you won't regret it we're doubling the budget again now you have $5,000 and we're looking for a car with the highest original MSRP 3 1981 l sedan from the Soviet Union currently on cars and bids with a high bid of $8,000 I think if anyone pays more than $10,000 for this uh you're uh you're a fool why we'll see if it manages to be more rare than some of the other ones that we've seen oh I think so they didn't sell these in the US we're going by production numbers baby oh oh tough luck bud tough luck huh Craigslist I think did production numbers might be higher oh oh never heard of make that 13,000 units if we're going straight by Straight production numbers it seems like the impulse is the lower number so after four rounds Jimmy one Nolan zero okay Justin three three damn for round five our budget increases to $25,000 see we're out we're out of my realm right now right so the cheap sh boxes that's all me once you pass 10 grand though I'm lost let's do it let's do it okay $225,000 you are looking for the car with the biggest wheels 3 minutes and the time starts now this tire count wheels just the wheels the wheel with a 500,000 RPM stall converter in there 20 passes at 9 seconds at 150 mph this thing looks like a riot so I went with Nolan strategy tried to find a race car and I found a turnkey dragster car dud this look sick uh it's got a 565 cubic inch engine making 983 horsepower and it runs the4 Mile in 7.7 yeah she's fast see uh Street Track Car 416 nitrous Camaro for $25,000 essentially a newer Camaro these were all great I think yall get a point for this one nice finally round seven the budget $100,000 oo big money the category highest horsepower car period 3 minutes and the time starts now back to my racing junk.com that's a pretty good one what if your car is so powerful you're not able to measure how powerful it is did you find a spaceship he found a cheat code all right I'm pretty good looking at my no I got I got one ready two seconds left and that's time so I went to eBay and I found this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro dude o thing looks absolutely badass that's so mean and it makes 1,800 horsep wa but you want to post yours up yeah 1,800 horsepower that's pretty cute Jimmy but how about something that does the quarter mile in 5.6 seconds another Camaro at nearly 260 M I love looking at a trailer um funny cars Nitro funny cars in particular are so powerful that you can't actually measure how much they make our car smoke is dark side we were running similar numbers our nitrous motor made around 3,000 horsepower Jimmy okay guys so here's what's going to happen um we know the horsepower of Jimmy's Car we do not know the official horsepower of Nolan's car so we are going to use an impartial judge uh professional Drifter Adam canic okay so we're looking for the car with the highest horsepower this is what Jimmy found Camaro with 1,800 horsepower what no one found is a Nitro methane funny car that does not have the horsepower listed yeah uh my gut says that that Nitro car is going to have more than 1,800 horsepower I'm going to concede I think you have enough experience with funny cars to know how much these made thank you Jimmy so I will concede I found a e85 Rd engineered tune Nissan GTR uh that is capable of 1,000 runs about 800 on the street tune 8 $9,000 Oo we the point goes to Nolan thank you thank you all right our budget now guys has yet again quintupled to $500,000 woo the game you're playing you're looking for a car that is appreciated the most above its original MSRP 3 minutes on the clock and the time starts now okay I'm thinking like no thoughts where do we even find $500,000 cars you got to know you got to know what you're looking for oh my God why are all the fake ones showing up I don't want that Justin how you feeling uh I have one I'm trying to find a better one that was F I'm stressing out dude I can't find anything I I should be on top of this right now five four three oh two dang it one that's time damn it all right 1971 Plymouth Cuda first of all MSRP of around I want to say $4,000 back in 71 today's price asking price $39,000 I went to Hong Kong to find my car wow I found a BMW Isetta how much do you think this should cost like 50 Grand Jimmy uh it looks like 288,000 Hong Kong dollar equals about 37,000 USD I found on classics. AutoTrader uh.com a 1968 Lamborghini 400 GT for $389,500 what was the original price okay so Justin's Lamborghini in 1968 would have cost $118,000 whoa wow which I know doesn't sound like that much of course that's the inflation that time that's a lot yeah that's a lot that means a total appreciation of $371,500 okay Nolan's car has appreciated 300 55,000 which means Justin gets the point J I'm sorry all right guys well this brings us to our final round budget $5 million million it's a lot of money it's a lot of ched you're looking for uh whoever finds the car with the fastest official nurburging time and the time starts now just a very simple uh uh uh way to do this yeah we're all just looking at the same thing damn it damn I think we both did the same thing just over um oh get out of here dude what I already have my P you're like looking over here man that's like not cool five four open bch can we can we get a little bit more time two okay Jimmy I'm locked time got it all right so I guess I'll go first at a a nurburging time of 6 minutes 43 seconds 616 the Mercedes GT Black Series for $500,000 well under budget uh I am worried though cuz Justin did not choose this car well you uh you picked the one higher on the list than oh well what do you got Justin uh I actually did the Lamborghini Aventador svj for $799.99 and my did a 6444 1 second separating which means Nolan gets the points what did you get Jimmy I I I'm kind of throwing something in the wind what is that what is that it's a what is that it's a it's a Jaguar XJR 15 uh for $1.75 million so uh a valiant effort by Jimmy but it does look like the AMG is the official say the lowest uh n triing time out of all these cards which means noan gets the point but that's the end of the game and that means that Justin has taken first place Justin wins dang it dude hey somehow I keep squeezing these wins squeezing them I was so close I felt like thank you so much for watching we'll see you next time hopefully I'll win at some point bye byetoday me and the boys are on a hunt for the best car at every price point we'll be scouring Facebook Marketplace Craigslist and more to search for the best deals in
