The JBL Club Pro Plus: A Major Win

I've been testing out the JBL Club Pro Plus earbuds, and I'm here to tell you that they're one of my new favorite earbuds. what this is now this should be your charging cable okay so we got usb type c to usb a let's see how long this is now these cables are usually short oh ladies and gentlemen but still great white shoes now the first thing we got to do is check the case for wireless charge okay so look for that red light drop it on the charger there it is wireless charge works fine all right so now let's check the magnets in the charging case we'll start off at minimum shake edge okay no movement let's go to intermediate shakeage okay no movement maximum shake edge rock right okay the magnets in this case are nice and strong all right so now let's pair these up for the first time and see how long it takes we'll open them up take them out of the case okay got a little pop-up on the phone jbl club pro plus connected okay this is nice and painless so far there it is connected just like that now here's the jbl club pro app let's click on get started all right so let me set this up all right so now let's check out the jbl my headphones app we'll select the club pro plus now it tells you the name of your earbuds shows you a picture of them you got your battery percentage for the left the right and the charging case now here's your ambient sound control so you got active noise cancellation you got ambient aware you can turn it off or you can activate talk through so you can have a conversation without taking the earbuds off now you got your smart audio modes alright so normal that's going to give you a stable connection you got audio mode giving you the best audio quality and you got video mode so no lip sync delay okay let's take it over to settings now you got your gesture controls for the left and the right your double tap tap and tap and hold features you got order on and off and i'll leave mine to two hours you got playing pause automation so if you want to you can set it up so as soon as you take the earbuds out of your ears it automatically pause your music you put them back in it'll start playing again you got your voice assistant choice so you got google and alexa built in you can check your best fit you got to find my buds all right that's a nice feature to have product help and your firmware updates all right so now let's try find my buds now y'all seen how white shoes snatched up my earbud if you got a cat or you got a little kid chances are you may lose i'm going to do my initial testing right here then i'm going to take it outside and do some real world testing all right so i'm going to play some music at max volume okay now i got to ambient sound mode let's turn the ambient sound to where on okay i can hear my snaps no problems let's play something else at the same time okay let's turn it down a little bit okay so now i can hear the music and i can get a youtube video playing at the same time let's turn on talk through okay now with talk through i can clearly hear the youtube video perfectly clear no problems all right so now let's turn on noise cancellation okay now look check this out i got a noise cancellation the music is at 50 i don't hear nothing from the youtube video nothing at all i can hear a little bit of my snaps let's turn the volume up let's go to maximum volume and see if i had any snaps okay no snaps i don't hear nothing else all right this is pretty dope all right let's turn on um talk through all right let's turn the torque through okay been a five hour batch i can perfectly hit a youtube video this is pretty good alright this is pretty good let me go outside and test it out with the cars outside all right now i just came back from testing these out outside in a bunch of different environments and i gotta be honest with y'all the noise cancellation is pretty good now i did some side-by-side tests with the bows and the sennheisers and the bows still cancel out the most noise than the sennheisers but here's the thing the jbl's get so loud especially if you play with the eq settings and put on maximum bass at maximum highs yo you're not going to hear nothing else around you all right so if you're walking around the street with these on noise cancellation and max volume you will get hit by a car so that's a win in my book all right now to speed up the video i just did the range test so i walked all the way to 50 feet no drop connection at all and i also started watching some youtube videos some netflix and some amazon prime no lag when you're watching the videos now on the side note when i went outside my next door neighbor started talking to me i activated talk through and had a full conversation without taking the ear buds off so that feature works perfectly all right so now let me answer those two questions number one are the jbl club pro plus worth 200 bucks and the answer is yes definitely worth every penny all right these are easily one of my new favorite earbuds next how do they compare to the jbl live 300s which are on sale right now on amazon for 100 bucks i will say this the live 300s these are still at that price but if i had to pick between one or the other i'm going with the jbl club pro plus all right you got active noise cancellation you got ambient aware mode and the biggest difference is the app to change the eq settings now i tested them both out using the galaxy phone playing the same song and the song had a lot of that with the live 300s these are bass heavy earbuds now with the club pro plus i was able to go to the app change the eq settings and add more highs and the song sounded even better so having an eq settings that's a mandatory option for me both of them sound good but i will go with the club pro plus let's wrap this up all right so overall on a scale of 1 to 10 i'm giving the jbl club pro plus a major major major go i love these earbuds all right they look good they fit great the ipx4 splash proof the core quality was nice and clear you can use either earbud one at a time i love the app and all of the features and the go outside and test it out with the cars outside all right now i just came back from testing these out outside in a bunch of different environments and i gotta be honest with y'all the noise cancellation is pretty good now i did some side-by-side tests with the bows and the sennheisers and the bows still cancel out the most noise than the sennheisers but here's the thing the jbl's get so loud especially if you play with the eq settings and put on maximum bass at maximum highs yo you're not going to hear nothing else around you all right so if you're walking around the street with these on noise cancellation and max volume you will get hit by a car so that's a win in my book all right now to speed up the video i just did the range test so i walked all the way to 50 feet no drop connection at all and i also started watching some youtube videos some netflix and some amazon prime no lag when you're watching the videos now on the side note when i went outside my next door neighbor started talking to me i activated talk through and had a full conversation without taking the ear buds off so that feature works perfectly all right so now let me answer those two questions number one are the jbl club pro plus worth 200 bucks and the answer is yes definitely worth every penny all right these are easily one of my new favorite earbuds next how do they compare to the jbl live 300s which are on sale right now on amazon for 100 bucks i will say this the live 300s these are still at that price but if i had to pick between one or the other i'm going with the jbl club pro plus all right you got active noise cancellation you got ambient aware mode and the biggest difference is the app to change the eq settings now i tested them both out using the galaxy phone playing the same song and the song had a lot of that with the live 300s these are bass heavy earbuds now with the club pro plus i was able to go to the app change the eq settings and add more highs and the song sounded even better so having an eq settings that's a mandatory option for me both of them sound good but i will go with the club pro plus let's wrap this up all right so overall on a scale of 1 to 10 i'm giving the jbl club pro plus a major major major go i love these earbuds all right they look good they fit great the ipx4 splash proof the core quality was nice and clear you can use either earbud one at a time i love the app and all of the features and the customizable eq with the touch controls you get eight hours of battery six hours with anc the anc was pretty good ambient aware talk through everything works great you got quick charge 10 minutes to charge you give you one hour worth of play time and the case has wireless charge these are 100 win hit me up in the comments let me
