FIFINE Wireless Microphone System K037B Review -- Last Game Hunter

I was testing this microphone system in my game room, which is a pretty big space, and I wanted to see how it would perform at different distances. When I was walking certain distances, it was definitely breaking up now at the same point.

I stopped in my game room, and it was still recording. That was a good test, as that's where I normally spend most of my time. So, from this room to that room, probably a good 30 feet or more that I went, and definitely within what it said it was able to do that's through walls that was door closed that was everything.

There was going upstairs now upstairs we did lose a lot more as we were going up as we got or stopped. As I said it was clear and worked perfectly fine then it was outdoors as soon as I went out and closed the door well you guys can see that you were hearing my phone talking and not the microphone anymore it completely lost connection.

And you know what that is to be expected, we were way beyond 60 foot range. I just wanted to try something stupid and it didn't work but that is not what the mic was meant to do so no fault on the mic there. So other than that, I didn't care for it a little bit of movement going out there that stuttered a little but when you're into position and where you were going to film it was perfectly fine.

Now in a real world, you're not gonna do that why would you walk away having your camera film nothing and be walking away while recording audio. It doesn't happen, I guess somebody out there might and if you are a person that walks away just for audio for some weird reason then this is not your microphone invest in something around three four hundred dollars.

This mic in the overall, I noticed with the boom, con was if you have it close there's a lot of popping like poo. If I was put or anything to do with a hard sound it would pop if you pull it away and talk it was perfect like it was absolutely good. And I'll say perfect over and over is I want to see how this mic is now responding to the word perfect because it's a hard word purr purr is very hard on a microphone.

I found there's a difference in audio quality between the two mics but it's something that I need to probably get used to. It's something that's a little different when it's plugged into my camera, I found that there's a lot less background noise and that is what I'm looking for more direct sound quality.

And the lapel mic did deliver in fact, the lapel mic if I wasn't if it was placed in the right spot and I wasn't being extremely loud because I'm being used to being louder which means I actually just need to turn my voice down a little and maybe adjust it into microphone settings when I'm recording. The bottom line is I think that for under $60 I think it's actually under $50 right now, it might be about fifty five Canadian this mic definitely delivers on what it was meant to do.

And I feel that it could be the mic moving forward for my shows. I do find the audio between the a x53 to be a much higher more full I think sound but overall the lapel mic got rid of that outside noise that I've been trying to get rid of that some of you guys have actually complained about.

And doing that in my opinion was a win-win so guys, I'm going to approve this microphone system for its price tag hands down as for the simple reason that you're not out any big money and you're getting big money product and that is huge today especially when you're trying to do all this save money well, I'm here to show you how with the fine fine kayo 37b.

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhello youtube and welcome back to another episode of the last game hunter and today we're going to be reviewing another fine fine technologies microphone this is the ko 37b and this is a wireless mic system I've been looking at now for about a month month and a half and I'm hoping this is a solution that I needed from my show for wireless microphone connectivity to my 4k camera so guys after reviewing the fine fine kale 52 and being extremely happy with their product for a $35 microphone that I would say can compete with a hundred dollar microphone which I will leave this link here to the video if you haven't already watched it check it out if you're shopping for a microphone if you're looking for a wireless microphone then this is the place you've come to so let's open the KO of 37 beat check and see what's inside what does it come with and let's test and review it alright guys this is the fine fine kayo 37b there's two stickers here that we're going to cut okay so let's open this up I always like the box of chocolate style slide off boxes oh and again we have that cute little thank you for buying a bookmark I call it a bookmark because you can actually you know take it and save a page and then you have your manual so this is the ko 37b wireless microphone and in here of course is going to describe to you how to connect it to your camcorder or your PC or whatever it is device mixer or so on nice sponge okay so let's take this out so here we have the ko 37 I'm gonna believe this is the transmitter and you have a looks like an antenna here I guess for the extra boost you have your plug in your active key on/off switch pretty simple and your battery slot and it looks like two triple A batteries go in there now if your lapel mic so here's the lapel mic and one thing that I like about this is this mini XLR system that is really cool but now looking back at this this does not plug into this so this is the receiver this is the part I said it right plugs into the camcorder or whatever device but I said it has a transmitter and it's not it's a receiver and this is your lapel mic now we have a couple things in here by the look of it we have oh so here we have the adapter to go from the 1/8 right so plug in and this is what my camcorder would plug into or SLRs or DSLRs or whatever or any other device that takes a 1/8 over a quarter inch so they give you that adapter which is really nice well they give you two of them here's the headset mic so you have a headset mic and a lapel mic so you have the best of both worlds here and we're gonna do a test on both because I believe that D headset mic might actually be clearer even though they're the same like it's all about placement and again this XLR connector right here okay so here's the transmitter now I'm saying this right so a transmitter we have a looks like two doublea's so two doublea's in the transmitter and two triple a's in the receiver I guess because the receiver is actually a little bit smaller pretty simple you just push in on the top here open it put your batteries in close it back up you have your LCD display right here tell you what frequency you're on and a button here - on and off that you're on an UP button there you go and then you have your mic input right here which is that mini XLR which I thought was really really cool and you have a set so right here on this set button here you can actually press it to change channels if you're having any interference in any which way and a really nice strong belt clip on the back here we have lapel mic your headset mic the receiver transmitter and some adapters all included in this package okay so now that we've seen what was in the box I have the batteries put in the transmitter the receiver now that I'm saying that right so of course this is the receiver and we need to pick the right cable to go to the camera and that would be this one here at labeled camera and then the other ones labeled phone so that would be your phone connector so basically attach let me hook this up I don't know if I need to actually have it this close so I'm gonna move it out a little bit because I think you might get a lot of popping or any of that type of noise let's see if that made actually any difference whatsoever then versus mumble I did not purpose so as anything new get a little bit of creeks going on there where your bending is really nice you can bend it so well so anyway this is test number one this is the boom mic and it's very easy goes right around your neck goes over your ears it's very comfortable I just it's it's a great idea and it would be great if I'm doing an unboxing you're not seeing me in any which way because I don't want to have the microphone of course showing so now the next test will be the lapel mic I'm actually going to not put the sock on in any which way or form so I just wanted to have it up kind of like it was if it was on the boom just to test the actual quality as a direct input so now I'm going to clip it to my shirt so I put it up high I'm gonna try in different places I want to see what happens when I move it around but anyway this is a test right up on my collar basically to see I'm gonna see if it gets any vibration from the neck and is it as good as the boom mic without having to be in my face so I'm going to move it down now just to see what the difference is so this would kind of be probably the most comfortable spot for it to be I just covered it with my hand I don't know why so anyway in this test is just to see how well it still sounds does it affect me in any way it doesn't sound better than the camera and just for fun I'm gonna unplug this in a minute and we're going to have just a camera as a final test that way then we're going to go and try distance so what I'm going to do I'm going to actually walk around the house but I will fill myself with my phone while this is still filming here detecting because I need something plugged in to know it's recording the audio and I'm gonna do something a little bit different to test the range so guys let's try out the camera without this plugged in just to hear the audio from the camera so this is the sony 4k a x53 stereo microphones built into the camera now we're putting that up against for example the lapel mic because that is the most obvious item that i want to use for my show so let me know in the comments now you're hearing my camcorder the last microphone was the lapel mic before that it was the boom mic so what we're gonna do now I'm gonna plug this wireless system back in I'm going to walk a little bit I'll walk to my game room I'll try and see if we're still connected and then from there I'm going to do something a little different just to say hey can you hear me now okay guys so we're going to do the walk test for distance because I think I completely screwed up when I was trying to do it earlier and forgot to hit record stupid alright here we go so we're gonna go first to the game room it will be dark so you guys can't see what I've been doing and I'm hoping within a week you guys will have your game room tour so oh it's dark it's dark it's uh you can't really see then and then so will now find out if the microphone was recording out here and now we're going upstairs to test the distance you'll hear other noises because my family do live here and I messed up and did not hit record so off we go ding ding so hopefully you still hear me now again when I get to this area of the house I'm probably going to be connected because it's now over the my office so we'll try that now and now for the ultimate test will it work outdoors this is what we need to find out so test right here now there's no reason to be or for me to be testing some crazy distance it's just something that I wanted to do for you get so yep and I'm wearing shorts and steel toed boots and you guys are seeing all the snow no here because it got crazy I'm testing the microphone outdoors for distance and range you guys will see my car here off and on but as you can see there is lots of snow here it is absolutely crazy for the last little while that got really bad so guys did the microphone work out here let's find out and see you back in the office then didn't didn't don't didn't do too hmm yeah please be recording ha I didn't screw up the first time ok guys so I'm back in the office I'm going to edit that part of the video so I can find out if the audio did work and then I'm going to give my thoughts over bko 37b and whether it's a great buy it definitely is a great price so let's find out if it's worth spending less as well actually the lapel mic is on the desk here I just have it turned on I'm gonna use it for the duration of the video just to see what it's like basically had a little more distance and my overall thoughts right now so yeah when I was walking certain distances it was definitely breaking up now at the same point I don't need to be doing that when I stopped in my game room it was still recording so that was a good huh from this room to that room probably a good 30 feeder or more that I went so definitely
