What's Up with iDevice Help Today?
Hey there, guys! It's your favorite guy, iDevice help here, and today I want to talk about a few things all in one video. First off, let me share with you a really cool way to run iOS on your MacBook using an emulator. I know some of you might be thinking, "Wait, how is this possible?" Well, it's actually pretty simple once you understand the basics. You can tap on certain things to launch applications, swipe, and even use gestures like you would on an iPad to close the display or application. It's really cool stuff, and I'm excited to share more about it with you.
But before we dive into all that techy goodness, I want to show you something else that I've been working on. You might have seen my last video where I sent out my MacBook to have its screen replaced with a touch screen. It's a pretty cool feature, and I'm happy to say it's finally up and running. In this video, I'll be showing you how to use the touchscreen on your MacBook, so be sure to stick around.
Now, onto more important things. I also want to talk about the new Yalu Essential package for the Mac port of jailbreak on iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. This is a big deal, guys, because it allows you to unlock and customize your iPhone like never before. But before we get into all the details, let me just say that I don't recommend using this right now. It's still in alpha stages, which means there are some bugs and issues that need to be worked out. However, if you're feeling adventurous and want to try it out for yourself, I'll give you the lowdown on what you can expect.
The Yalu Essential package includes some pretty cool features, like SSH access and substrate enabler. These tools allow you to customize your iPhone's operating system and even jailbreak it, which means you can install all sorts of tweaks and mods that will make your phone do all sorts of crazy stuff. But be warned, guys: this is advanced stuff, and you should only try it if you know what you're doing.
One of the things I want to highlight is the custom IPA required for jailbreaking. This is a special version of the iPhone's operating system that's designed specifically for jailbreak purposes. It's available in Cydia, which is the default package manager for Jailbroken iPhones. But be warned: installing this IPA can potentially void your warranty and even brick your phone if you're not careful.
I also want to talk about the substrate enabler, which is a tool that allows you to customize your iPhone's operating system. This thing is like a Swiss Army knife for jailbreakers – it includes all sorts of tools and features that will make your life easier when it comes to customizing your iPhone. But be warned: this is advanced stuff, and you should only try it if you know what you're doing.
Now, I want to switch gears a bit and talk about my recent live stream where I compared the iPhone 7 Plus to the Galaxy S8. It was a great session, and I had a lot of fun chatting with all of you about your favorite phones. But things took an unexpected turn when my car was broken into during filming. Luckily, everything turned out okay in the end, but it was definitely a close call.
As I was filming the live stream, my car was being broken into in the parking lot. It's still a bit of a shock to think about what could have happened if someone had stolen my laptop or other equipment. But thankfully, no one was hurt, and the police were able to file a report and get some footage of the incident.
After that close call, I decided to cut the live stream short and head out to investigate. It was definitely a harrowing experience, but it also made me realize just how important it is to be prepared for anything life throws your way. So, if you're planning on doing any kind of outdoor filming or photography, make sure you have a backup plan in place – you never know when disaster might strike.
Finally, I want to thank all of you guys for watching and enjoying the video so far. It's been a blast chatting with you about all sorts of techy topics, from emulators to jailbreaks. If you have any questions or comments, be sure to leave them down below. And don't forget to like and subscribe for more content – I'll see you in the next video!
