It's a Known Fact that Lobsters Fall in Love and Mate for Life Prior to Beginning

As I begin my day, I take a moment to stretch my muscles, giving them an alliterative stretch. This helps me get started with a very sheer amount of foundation, which I don't want to look too cakey or overpowering. Instead, I aim for a subtle and natural look that enhances my features without overwhelming them. Before applying any makeup, I practice winking to ensure it's a smooth motion.

I fill in my brows on Stassi, using an upper brow product because, as they say, "brows frame your face." With the spoolie on the end, I brush through my brows for a more natural look, which is essential for making sure my eyeshadows stay in place all day. Next, I apply an eye primer to help the eyeshadow stay fresh and vibrant.

I then select a beautiful bronzy color that's neither too overdone nor still presentable. This medium-toned shade will complement many skin tones and create a natural look. The key to this eye look is blending – lots and lots of blending! I apply this bronzy color to my eyelids, making sure to blend it out for a seamless finish.

To add depth to my eyes, I apply a brown liquid eyeliner. This complements the bronzy color and adds a pop of contrast to my overall look. For a date, you want to look really nice and awake, so I use this eyeliner to highlight and brighten up darker areas of my face, including under my eyes. Brightening these areas will bring more light and illumination to my eyes.

Next, I take the same pink color I used earlier and apply it to my lower lash line. If you want your eyes to look striking, a small amount of eyeliner in your waterline can make all the difference. In all seriousness, this is probably the most tedious part of my makeup routine – just going through the process over and over again until it feels right.

Adding a light hand of bronzer can really define my features and give me a sun-kissed look. I apply it with caution, blending it out evenly to avoid any harsh lines or unevenness. This adds a nice touch to my overall look and makes me feel more confident in my appearance.

After applying the blush, I check that it's not too much – sometimes we can get carried away with makeup! Now I'm ready for my lips, which I apply using this really cute pink color. It's moisturizing and will make my lips look very kissable and beautiful.

The Finished Look

Now that I've finished applying all the makeup, it's time to focus on my hair. With freshly washed hair that smells oh so good and oh so nice and oh so fresh, I want to take it down – literally! I curl my hair using a barrel, wrapping it around one inch of length for about 10 to 15 seconds. I wait patiently while the curls set in.

To finish off my look, I shake my hair loose, letting the curls unfurl naturally. To keep them in place, I take a little part of my hair and split it – whatever side you like! For me, it's best to divide it a bit more than half way down the middle. Then, I put a bobby pin on, securing it out of sight but still maintaining the overall style.

With my hair done, I slip into something classic: a velvety black skirt that's both fantastic and comfortable. Alongside this, I wear a fantastic black lacy top – perfect for adding some visual interest to my outfit. Finally, I slip on some black pumps to complete my look.

And that's it! With this makeup tutorial completed, you should now be equipped with the knowledge of how to create your own classic yet striking look for any occasion. Whether it's a date or just a regular day out, remember – blending is key and having fun with makeup can make all the difference in feeling confident and beautiful.
