Alcatel Onetouch Idol 3C First Look! The Idol 3 gets a splash of color

Welcome to Android Authority's coverage of Epha 2015, where we're excited to show you some of the latest and greatest mobile devices on the market. We're currently hanging out at the Alcatel OneTouch Booth, taking a look at one of their newest releases - the Idle 3C.

One of the biggest differences between the Idle 3C and its regular counterpart is the design. As we can see from this video, the back of the phone is actually removable, allowing you to swap it out with a variety of different colors. We have the yellow version here, but you can also get pink, green, white, orange - the list goes on! This means that you'll have a lot more customization options with the Idle 3C, which is definitely one of its standout features.

Despite this new design element, the Idle 3C still retains many of the same specs as the original Idle 3. It has a 5.5-inch full HD display on the front, making it perfect for watching videos or browsing the web. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octacore CPU, running Android 5.0 Lollipop. You'll also find a 2910 mAh battery inside, which should provide plenty of juice throughout the day. And with a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, you'll be able to take some amazing photos.

One thing that's worth noting is that the Idle 3C still has a clean, almost stock-like interface. Everything you'd expect from the original Idol 3 is present here, which is great news for fans of simplicity and ease of use. However, Alcatel does throw in a few tweaks to give it its own unique feel. We see this in the icons and the presence of the One Touch stream on the left side.

As we're currently at Epha 2015, we don't have any exact details on pricing and availability just yet. But based on what we've seen so far, it's clear that the Idle 3C is going to be a great option for anyone looking for a stylish and feature-packed phone. We're expecting it to be priced around €300, which is roughly the same as its predecessor. This price point makes it an excellent value for money, especially considering the extra customization options you get with the colored back.

Overall, the Idle 3C is definitely worth checking out if you're in the market for a new phone. With its removable back, full HD display, and powerful CPU, it's got everything you need to enjoy your favorite mobile apps and games. And let's not forget about the customization options - with so many different colors to choose from, you'll be able to find one that matches your unique style perfectly. We're excited to see how this phone performs in real-world use, but for now, it's definitely a contender in the Android market.
