A Trip Down Memory Lane: Valentine's Day Hauls from 2017 and 2018 at Dollar Tree

As I sat browsing through my local Dollar Tree store, I couldn't help but feel nostalgic as I saw some old favorites make their way back onto the shelves. As a long-time fan of the store's seasonal offerings, I love discovering new and unique items to add to my decor and gifts for loved ones. My latest haul from Dollar Tree was all about Valentine's Day, and I couldn't wait to share it with you guys.

The first thing that caught my eye were the adorable throwback gift bags from 2017. Oh my goodness, how cute they are! Compared to this year's offerings, these bags are truly a treasure trove of cuteness. The glittery designs, especially the one featuring a fox, had me swooning. I couldn't resist buying all of them - who wouldn't want a bag with a bow and cheeks on it? And let's not forget about the dipped-in-glitter effect that makes each bag sparkle like a city of glitter.

As I continued shopping, I stumbled upon some signs from 2018, but also some from previous years like 2017. These signs are still available at Dollar Tree, even after a year, and they're just as charming as ever. The "Follow Your Heart" sign is particularly lovely, fitting perfectly with my farmhouse-inspired decor this year. And then there's the chalkboard heart - oh, how adorable! It's clear that these signs have been missed by many, including me.

Moving on to the gift bags, I must say that they're still not as cute as their 2017 counterparts. But hey, that's okay - some things are timeless, right? The new designs for this year are nice, but I just can't compare them to the ones from last year. These bags are like a time capsule of sorts, reminding me of all the memories made during Valentine's Day in previous years.

The real star of my haul, however, were the handmade cards from 2017. Oh my goodness, these little cuties are so pretty! Each one is unique and features adorable messages like "You're loved" or "Will you be my Valentine?" They're perfect for adding a personal touch to gifts or cards, and I just can't get enough of them. From traditional designs to more whimsical ones, each card has its own special charm that's sure to delight anyone who receives it.

Last but not least, I found some unique Valentine's Day-themed items from Dollar Tree, including a few signs that are still available this year. While they're not as special as the 2017 signs, they're still lovely in their own right. And let's not forget about the new gift bags and cards - while they may not be as cute as last year's offerings, they're still nice additions to any Valentine's Day collection.

Overall, my trip down memory lane was a delight. It's amazing how much joy can be found in revisiting past favorites and discovering new ones. And who knows? Maybe some of these items will make their way back onto the shelves again next year, just for us nostalgic shoppers.

and you guys know how I feel about gift bags as a matter of fact right after this video I am gonna film a my Dollar Tree gift bag collection video so I'm really excited about it I am pre filming a ton of videos so they're not all gonna be released the same day obviously but I just have to say I am waiting for Dollar Tree to put out some cuter Valentine's Day bags I hope they do and I may even venture out to Dollar Tree later tonight but wait till you guys see the bags from last year and some of you may even remember it but I will also find all of my Dollar Tree DIYs and hauls for Valentine's Day from the previous years I only can link them all down below for you so if you just like what all things Valentine's Day it'll be down below for you I have most of this in my head Bath & Beyond is no bath and Bodyworks and then I have all of this stuff here that I'm trying to put on my lap but because there's so much ladies let's go ahead and get into it alright are you guys comfy you ready you know what I need I need a good ol coffee well I don't know where I just went just now but okay let's go ahead and get started so at the Dollar as you can see in their floral garden line they have a heart wire wreath so you can definitely do like the mesh wreath I guess that's the intended purpose for when the wreath looks like this is that you would loop ribbons and mesh through here but how cute is that that you can get this at Dollar Tree again this is last year so most of the stuff is 2016 so I don't know if it's gonna be available this year and again the whole purpose of this video is just kind of go down memory lane and take a look at what we used to have okay so oddly enough in my Dollar Tree haul video that I just filmed before this one and it will be up first so it's already up by the time you're watching this but go check that out because I showed you guys the tissue paper that I hauled from there and I've only seen one style so far but look at last year's so let's look at this one I still like this year's better so far this was cute though the exo XL is really cute I'm thinking this one is cuter than 2017 to me and then look at this tissue paper as well so now let's take a look at 2016 Riu 2016 whatever oh my god I just don't even know where I went just then we are looking at February 2017 stuff and the haul I just did was February 24 February 2018 we're in 2018 get your life together I didn't mean to confuse anybody just then so basically this haul is a throwback to February of 2017 so last year of course this video will be up for years and years so I don't know what your you're gonna be watching this in the future but anyway I digress 2017 window clings okay that's where we're at and who remembers when they put out the chocolate looking heart-shaped boxes at Dollar Tree never got to use this but look at the inside it's like dripping chocolate it's a sweetheart so adorable oh my gosh so cute I love that box and then here is a little doggie print I have not seen them this year the print that seems to be their dollar trees theme is robots and and monkeys so the puppy seemed to be like last year's it's not to say you won't find these because sometimes certain stores don't sell out of everything and then they like bring it back you know to just kind of get rid of it so okay in my lap is basically stuff from the target dollar spot of last year and I thought I would throw this in this hall in this video because it's pink and I may have found it during target dollar spot so Valentine's Day stuff but I'm not sure this has little things a boot it was three dollars with a pretty scalloped edge some glittery pink clothes pins one dollar some 3d stickers with hearts and lucky get all different sizes I'm guessing here in the middle but we can't see it because it's labels over it but I'm guessing it's like a medium sized they get large medium small one dollar and then you get a more 3d stickers and they look like little envelopes and then look at these these are heart fan stickers and I never realized it when I haul Diggs eye or maybe I did but I I think I forgot I looked at it again and they do fan out like so look at the picture they actually stand out but here they're flat but you can kind of feel that they do that they would pop out so these are really cute these would be perfect for card-making actually I think this would be really cute have a DIY that I'm super excited to be bringing to you guys so I know that I'm really cryptic but I think I'm gonna keep the stuff on the side cuz I think it would be perfect for that DIY then look at this faux leather gift tags I remember hauling this from target dollar spot okay and these wood clips who remembers these from target dollar spot I cannot wait to use these I just never I really just didn't get that much into Valentine's Day last year I remember that I remember thinking after it was over that I just for whatever reason I didn't have the time to do it work I mean not really show a bowl for a haul but as you can see it's like leftover like little hearts that came from a wood pick and some red roses from the Dollar Tree I have pom poms I forgot Dollar Tree sells these these are actually perfect for a DIY that I already have pre-planned I think I'm gonna need more of these so hopefully these will come back out let me know if you've been to your dollar trees and you've seen these because I need a couple more packages of these for DIY I have in mind and now it's gonna turn into a Dollar Tree DIY I swear I don't intend for it to always be Dollar Tree but it just happens to be I had like an idea of what I want to do and then I'll either go to Hobby Lobby for my material or if I find it at Dollar Tree if I find out Dollar Tree you know I'm gonna do a Dollar Tree stuff you just know that's what I'm gonna do okay here's another box that looked some way to the one earlier I haven't seen boxes like these out so far hey so as you can see now what we're really looking at is like my stash so obviously some things have been used these are just tables scatter so be really careful cuz once I thought for some reason they were stickers and they're not they're scatter so there's not actually like a sticker backing to them but they did put out some heartfelt stickers go check out my haul that I did before this video again it's gonna be linked at the end of this video for you but they have the cutest heart-shaped felt stickers but these are table scatters okay these are stickers these are the conversation parts and they are Oni and as you can see that the sticker backing how cute are these also last year's this is a Lync card and envelope set and you can tell it's the Valentine's Day line because of this label here it's like a hot pink and you get white envelopes I just thought I would throw this in this video because it was hot pink and it was really pretty but this is just a Dollar Tree box and these are also last year I mean Dollar Tree for some reason puts out these like a little rock like weitzer decor whatever and they're so cute and they have this as their Valentine's Day section or their Valentine Day style this one says I love you I just love the little heart I mean it's not it's not a shaker or anything but it's so glittery and pretty be mine so pretty this pink is so pretty and here are some of the heart picks I have not seen this magenta color this year if you go watch my shop with me and you'll see that ice that my store I went to had the baby pink color and then the red but I have not seen this magenta and this has like a fuzzy sweater look to it I have not seen this yet so maybe they won't come back out with the magenta but comment down below let everyone know if you've seen these for 2018 here our heart doilies from Dollar Tree and I have them in the three traditional Valentine's Day colors these are my personal Valentine's Day colors I do love the traditional colors of it it's just the one time of year you can do you know red pink and white together so I think it's really pretty I'll never use them I think I'm gonna be using them this year I'm not really sure I think I am I think I have a DIY where I actually needed heart doilies and then I found these I was like oh I have them so hopefully that DIYs gonna turn out well but in my head sometimes they just don't transfer into reality from my mind okay so in my and one of my first Dollar Tree hauls for Valentine's Day it was like a couple weeks ago I realized that a clip I thought I was recording and I wasn't but what I didn't get to show you guys were these stickers now obviously I've already peeled off the time but these are Dollar Tree from 2018 so this isn't a TBT this is actually present day of 2018 and we get two sets of each and their shaker stickers and their bubble - do you see that they're like 3d how adorable and what this is my favorite print this print that they're bringing back from Dollar Tree they have it in cookie containers they have it in pencils I haven't seen it in anything else so I'm gonna be on the lookout for this specific print all right also their signs from last year not this one I've already shown you guys if you've already watched my first two Dollar Tree haul um for Valentine's Day and I showed you guys this one so this is 2018 but here are much in my 2017 signs now these are still at Dollar Tree I've seen these for 2018 so this one is really pretty just never got a chance to use it follow your heart it really goes with my decor this year than it did a heart in front and then let's see we've got three more this one you are loved well let me show you the inside the white and purple it's really really pretty and this one is really cute sending you love on Valentine's Day it's like sending you love in the mail app printed upside down that was printed upside own thanks so be aware so if you ever go look for the and you probably are you probably looking here unlike me because for me I only focus on the outside because I've never used what's on the inside some cards I know that I'm going to actually give it to like my daughter or someone and so I do read the inside but if it's something that I know I'm just gonna use the front for my planner I don't really care about the inside and last but not least I remember I hold couple of these because I think I've never seen a card as charming as this one love you to the moon I love you to the moon and back and this it's just perfection and I think this is my last one this is my last one I
