Fashion Week in New York: A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Kate Spade's Presentation

This week I'm in New York for fashion week, scouring the streets for fashion inspiration and I was invited to the Kate Spade presentation. I want to take you guys along for a little preview, come on let's check it out.

As I walked into the room, Brad Goreski was there to greet me, well he was filming his show so I was probably in his way but anyway it's great to see him. Oh hey how you doing oh no not talking to me okay so the Kate Spade show is full of vibrant colors and I love that she had this color blocking theme going on, it almost reminded me of like a comic strip and of course there is that pow pad case so amazing.

Now here we've moved on to some classic Kate Spade great colors I love the attention to details bows all over the place florals mixing with like a printed tee I think it's just such a great idea and of course color lots of color and nails, nails, nails I mean all these girls were had on these stiletto nails and they were either vibrant colors or they were gingham which I'm literally obsessed with. And as you can see, gingham nails floral gingham outfit I love this look, I may not be brave enough to wear it but I love it and I definitely think it looks amazing on a model of course.

Moving on the presentation and what I love about fashion presentations, which are different from runway shows is that you actually get to be up close and see the clothes and really take great pictures, you know you can ask the models to move and they'll put their hand out or whatever it is you want to take a picture of and it's kind of like a really great way to sort of interact with the clothes as opposed to just sitting on a runway and watching it. Oh and see this guy, he's yeah camera off okay who's gonna get the better shot oh I see food so he may get the better shot because yeah.

I'm seeing these teals and the bow details and the stripes everything is so fun and so colorful and then what I love about Kate Spade is that she'll throw in something like really cool and really whimsical like a really fun clutch, that is a pair of sunglasses or or the iPad case that said pow, I just think that's really fun and it keeps fashion fun but she also does fun things too like you know these suits mixed with hot pink pumps and then who doesn't love these pumps? The two-tone metallic with the bow gorgeous and then this purse is wonderful and with the nails, I just love the whole look it really sets it off with the hot pink and the little nails oh fierce.

I'm on to a look that's got my attention which one really loved the collar, it's very inspirational collars embellished collared are here to stay so I know that I'm getting lots of inspiration for coming up with more embellished collar diy, so stay tuned for that again these nails see she likes the nails everybody likes the nails Instagram Instagram again here we are with the different prints she has the color blocking the fun colorful necklace on top it's just so fun at case Spade like I get happy anytime I walk into the store.
