The Perillo Vlog Adventures: A Day of Fun and Reflection
As I sat down to record this day's vlog, I couldn't help but think about how much fun we were going to have. My Italian heritage was on full display as I exclaimed "Gillo!" in a moment of levity. My friend Diana chimed in, correcting me that she is actually Mexican in descent, not Asian. We both knew it didn't matter what our backgrounds were, because when it comes down to it, we're all Americans, united by our love for life and good times.
I picked up some delicious Greek food on my way out of the store, including stuffed grape leaves that I dipped in "dragon's blood" (aka a spicy sauce). I also couldn't resist trying a sausage pocket pie, which I was excited to devour. As I held the door open for an elderly woman, she called me a gentleman, and I beamed with pride at being recognized as such.
We discussed the idea of pre-recording vlogs 365 days a year, but our team realized that we're actually recording them two days before they'll be posted online. This means that if you watch this vlog tomorrow, it will have already happened yesterday! We can't wait to share more Perillo Vlog Adventures with you and make sure you don't miss out on any of the fun.
We took a moment to chat about our favorite food items – perilla, of course being at the top of the list. I joked that we needed to watch two vlogs: 365 and 363, but not 364 (don't think too hard about it!). My friend Wicket and pixie were both excited to see us in person for a fun day out.
It turned out that our Greek food choice was inspired by one of our community members who suggested we try something new. We control what goes into the Perillo Vlog Adventures, and this time around, we've got some awesome guests lined up – Corey from Apprentice A and Shay from shaytards fame are coming to film part of their documentary!
As a special treat, we'll be at the world's first Vlogger Fair next weekend! We'll have plenty of behind-the-scenes content to share with you as we film this exciting event. If you want to be included in the documentary, now's your chance.
After recording, I decided to take some time for myself and work on a dry rub recipe for my ribs. I'm not a fan of barbecue sauce – it's too sweet! But I do love a good brisket with pickles and short ribs on the side. As I walked out of the exit, I spotted two gentlemen holding up a sign that read "Go Green Go Vegan" – I think we'll have to pass on that one today!
I recognized a guy standing next to his motorcycle who had seen my videos before, and we exchanged nice words. He even told me he was looking forward to watching more of our content! As for the food, while the brisket was dry, the ribs were okay, and those pickle chips were salty – just the way I like 'em!
Finally, as I reflected on this day's events, I couldn't help but think back to my high school days. I remembered walking through the doors of our old high school gymnasium museum, which is now a building in our town that still stands today. It brought back so many memories and was a great way to unwind after a long day.
As for dinner, Diana had a feast fit for a king – or rather, a giant goblet of hot sauce, avocado shrimp, and limes on top. And yes, there's an idea for a shot glass party – Bottoms Up!

and then that's where it ended so it's right in front of our house and I think there's another one that's going to happen and hour so that's meat cow it's a parade wait a minute that's not a classic car well I knew there would be a flood of animated gifs from that segment on tldr the other day insert your own music here I'm preparing myself what ah we got a text from Diana ha aww not so tough anymore with the big scary beep okay let me add some context to that Wicket was barking this morning as I was editing the blog and so I turned on the GoPro and when you do that it beeps that freaks Wicket out and this is why I have this on my head I'm going to try to give you uh another perspective of taking the drive here in a couple minutes well a couple minutes for me instantaneously for you oh and Diana was replying to a video that I just sent her recording Wicket cowering after the beeps and she went haha a glad I didn't have the GoPro on then that's what I sent her I'm practicing for wearing Google Glass I'm in a no passing zone speed limit is 35 miles hour yet people are honking at me and another guy's doing it shame on you it's those kind of people that end up getting other people killed they're honking at me like I'm the bad guy they posted a speed limit for a reason we're going to be recording our Perillo Vlog 365 live tomorrow and that'll be happening online slightly out of order although in order of the date that we normally record it since we're usually 2 days behind we hope you can be there live when it happens to interact with us but at least we've given you a chance to ask questions ahead of time and even if you can't make it live the video will be recorded for posterity I don't know what it is but some people want to call me Mr pero it's okay I don't take that's definitely not going to happen to me today there's some brisket fried pickles and short ribs somewhere in there with coal SLA and sauce and a guy who's singing really loud see that guy behind me he's standing next to the motorcycle he recognized me I I didn't realize he recognized me until he said nice videos I'm like oh cool thank you I don't think I'd be returning the brisket was dry the ribs were okay and those pickle chips were more salt than anything I drove 40 minutes to get here still it was for a good cause tonight we're unwinding with a black bear dou X Stout a building this is the first High School built in our town and this is the old high school gymnasium Museum we actually live right in front of it I would have easily have walked to school back in the day and this is the high school I went to I remember walking through those doors every day for a long time they look like colums this gymnasium looks a lot better than the other one I showed you guys boy this brings back memories and there's what Diana had for dinner today a gigantic Goblet of hot sauce avocado shrimp and limes on top which make this kind of look like a creature see there's its head and its eyes and
