The Unboxing and Specifications of Huawei Watch
This is probably late but I just got my hands on a Huawei watch, um apparently they're really hard to find at Best Buy even the Best Buy employees can't find them. Uh took four of them to find it for me but I eventually did get one and as is the protocol here on the internet I figured I would do a quick unboxing and teach you about some of the specs.
The first thing that struck me when opening the box was how similar it looked to the shelves at Best Buy. The box itself has no real distinctions on it, and happens to be a very similar color to their shelves. This is probably why even the employees at Best Buy couldn't find it. When I opened the box, I was presented with another box, which was also not particularly distinguishable from the first one. However, when I opened this second box, I was finally able to see the watch itself.
The watch's packaging is actually quite nice, and very similar to what you would expect when buying a real watch. The packaging includes a little pillow that holds the watch in place while it's being carried around. Underneath the watch, there's a pamphlet container that contains all of the instruction manuals, warranty information, and other things that people like us just don't read.
The charger that comes with the watch is a normal USB type charger that is connected to a cable that looks oddly familiar and resembles the Apple watch's cable. The difference between this charger and the ones used by Apple watches is that this one doesn't have actual magnetic charging - instead, it has four prongs that have to line up with the four metal connectors on the bottom of the watch. This means that you can't set the watch down in any direction without putting it in a specific section.
The watch itself is encased in a stainless steel cold forged casing. The screen is an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that has a sapphire crystal glass on top. The resolution of the screen is 400 pixels x 400 pixels, which is quite impressive for a device at this price point. Underneath the screen, there's a quad core 1.2 GHz processor along with 4 gigs of storage and 52 MB of ram.
The watch also has Wi-Fi Bluetooth version 4.0, an accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate monitor, and a barometer. It's powered by a 300 milliamp battery that is fast charging capable. The model I got is the cheapest version coming in at $350, which is not cheap but it's the lowest model available.
The watch also comes with leather straps that are genuinely made of real leather. You can tell just by looking at them. One cool thing about these straps is that no matter which version of the watch you buy, there's a little pin that you can pull out to remove the strap and then put a new one in. This gives you the ability to customize your watch for those people who have multiple watches normally and want to match their outfits.
Finally, I wanted to include a size comparison with my Apple watch, which is the smaller 38 mm model. Here's how they compare next to each other.

presented with another box when you open that box however uh you are presented with the watch and it's actually a really nice box it's very similar to the ones that you would get when buying say a real watch so first we'll remove the watch that's attached to its little pillow and we'll get to that in a minute underneath that we have our pamphlet container that has all of the instruction manuals warranty information and other things that people like us just don't read underneath that we have our charger which is a normal USB type charger that is connected to a cable that looks oddly familiar and resembles the Apple watch's cable now the difference here though is that this one doesn't have actual magnetic charging it just has these four prongs that have to line up with the four metal you can tell so because well they say so the other cool thing about these straps though uh no matter which version of the watch that you buy there's a little pin that you can pull out to remove the strap and then to put a new one in you simply put the pin back in now this obviously gives you the ability to customize your watch for those people that have multiple watches normally and want to match their outfits Etc and finally for a quick size comparison here it is next to my Apple watch which is the smaller 38 mm Apple watch and there you go I hope you guys enjoyed that and if you did
