and both have images of the headphones on the front they also have their own separate names on the front that distinguish them flipping them over the back you can see that they both have images of the headphones in the case and the i-88 tws come with colors but the xy pods do not alright opening the two at the same time you're greeted with both of the headphones taking that out they both come with cables and their own manuals alright now to the design of the two so the first major difference is the xy pods come in only one color but the i88 tws come in multiple colors the version that i have of the i88s right now is the matte black version they are pretty much the same dimensions all around the two have two different latch styles the i88s have one similar to the i-10 tws and the xy pods have one that looks just like the one on the apple airpods there are no buttons on the outside of the i88 case but on the xy pods it has a button on the front of the case the two charge with two different methods the i88 tws charged with micro usb and the xy pods charged with lightning port they both do have leds on their case the i88 tws have four leds that go horizontally across the bottom of the front of the case the xy pods have one led above the top button that turns on when you press the button to enable the charging now to the earbuds themselves first of all they both have leds that are under the plastic one thing that i noticed is the leds on the i88 tws look way cooler than the ones on the xy pods the leds on the xy pods in my opinion look kind of weird just my opinion there are two holes on the side of the earbuds that have the touch functions in them the dot on the xy pod is higher up than the daw on the i88 tws the earbuds themselves charge with the same method two copper connectors on the bottom of the headphone the grilles are different for the two on the inner part of the headphones the xy pods are slightly shorter than the i-88 tws but overall they are shaped very similar the i88s do not fit in the xy pods case because the i88s are slightly longer than the xy pods the stem on the i88s is also slightly thicker than the xy pods and just looking at the i-88 tws i'm getting some major star wars death trooper vibes now for the connectivity all right so i'll be testing the connectivity up between the i88s and the xy pods to see which one that can go further from the phone and yeah let's get to it all right so i'm testing the i-88s first they are the ones in my ears right now so yeah put the phone right here play music and see how far i go all right now i have the xy paws in my ears and i'll be testing how far they go ready set go uh now for the battery the xy pods last around 3.5 hours on one charge in an extra 20 hours with the case the i88 tws lasts around three hours on one charge an extra 20 hours of the case so pretty much almost the exact same but the xy pods last a little bit longer now for the audio quality listening to the two side by side i can't conclude that the i88 tws do sound better in my opinion but they both do sound pretty good i'll just say that the i88 twss are just more crispy and they have a little bit more bass both yeah tear it up that's good does this work really good that's nice up more oh wow quiet ah quietness okay are they connected yeah who devices are connected all right now that you've listened to the two
