The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G: A New Era in Mobile Technology
As the latest addition to the Samsung Galaxy S10 family, the 5G edition is an exciting development that promises to revolutionize mobile technology. Saf, a tech enthusiast and content creator on SuperSaf TV, had the opportunity to get his hands on this device early on and share his experience with us.
The Power of 5G
One of the most significant features of the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is its support for 5G technology. This means that users can expect some truly impressive speeds, making it an ideal choice for those who want to stay connected and productive on-the-go. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, which is combined with additional chips, including the X50 Modem, to enable 5G connectivity.
A Unique Design
One of the standout features of the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is its unique design. Unlike other models in the S10 family, this device boasts a larger display, measuring in at 6.7 inches. This is made possible by minimal bezels and a punch-out feature that allows for a more immersive viewing experience. The display itself features a Quad HD+ resolution with dynamic AMOLED technology, resulting in vibrant colors and deep viewing angles.
Advanced Camera Capabilities
The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G also boasts an impressive camera system, featuring three cameras on the rear of the device. In addition to the two standard cameras found on other S10 models, this device includes a dedicated 3D depth sensing camera, which is set to enable advanced AR features. The primary camera has a dual aperture and 12 megapixels, while the telephoto camera offers two times optical zoom. The ultra-wide camera also makes an appearance, with a 16-megapixel sensor and f/2.2 aperture.
Fast Charging and Wireless Power Sharing
One of the key features that sets the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G apart from other devices in its class is its fast charging capabilities. With super-fast charging reaching speeds of up to 25 watts wired, users can quickly top up their battery on-the-go. Additionally, the device also supports fast wireless charging 2.0 and wireless power sharing, which allows users to charge other devices using this device as a power source.
Release Date and Pricing
While the exact release date has not been confirmed, it is expected that the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G will be available in the summer of this year. As for pricing, Saf estimates that the device could cost around £1,120, which is significantly higher than the starting price of the S10+. However, this estimate may change closer to the release date, and more information on pricing and availability should become available soon.
In conclusion, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G represents a significant step forward in mobile technology, offering users some of the fastest speeds and most advanced features available. With its unique design, impressive camera capabilities, and fast charging features, this device is sure to be a hit with tech enthusiasts and anyone looking for a top-of-the-line smartphone experience.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: en- In addition to threenew Samsung Galaxy S10sannounced today, we also hada teaser of a special editionSamsung Galaxy S10,and that is the S10 5G.What's up guys?Saf here on SuperSaf TV,and I was lucky enoughto get some early handson with this 5G edition. If you want to find outabout the Samsung Galaxy S10,the S10+, and the S10e,I've covered those indetail in my previous video.I'll link them in the comments, and in the description. In this video, we're specificallygoing to be taking a lookat the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G.So firstly, as the name suggests, this version is going to support 5G,which is going to give yousome crazy fast speeds. It's powered by the QualcommSnapdragon 855 processor, with some additional chips, including the X50 Modem, and that's what enables the 5G technology. We're not sure if Samsungis going to have a variantof this 5G model at a later time. But for now, we knowthat it will be the 855with these additional chips. Now of course, Samsung couldhave just added these chipsto something like the S10+and had an S10+ 5G version, but this version is quiteunique, and that's because it hasa larger display comparedto the other S10s.A 6.7 inch display. It's got wide Quad HD+ resolutionwith dynamic AMOLED technology. The display looks absolutely beautiful, especially at that size.Colors are vibrant, blacksand deep viewing anglesare absolutely great too.Now 6.7 inches sounds very large, and that is because it is pretty largefor a smartphone display. But I did compare itto the Note 9 in hand, and realistically speaking,it didn't feel too different. It was very similar in size, and that's because it has minimal bezels. You've got very small bezelsall around the display, and then you have the punch out.Now the punch out is actually widerthan what we've got on the S10+,and that's because aswell as the two camerasthat we've got on the S10+,so that's 10 megapixelswith an f/1.9 aperture, and the secondary camerafor depth information. We also have a dedicated3D depth sensing camera. Now, this is going to be usedfor some advanced AR features. How these are exactly goingto work, we're not sure yet,but we also have the 3D depth cameraon the rear of the device. So we have a triple camera set up,similar to what we've got on the S10s,so that's a primary camerawith a dual aperture,12 megapixels, f/1.5, f/2.4.It's going to switch between these twodepending on the light in your scene. You've got a telephoto camera, which is going to give youtwo times optical zoom. That's also at 12 megapixels. And you have a 16 megapixel,ultra-wide camera, and that's got an f/2.2 aperture.Ultra-wide, great to getlots more into your shots.I'm super happy that the S10s have this. But as I mentioned, in addition to that,we have the 3D depth sensing camera. So it looks like Samsungis going to be doingsome interesting things withthese depth sensing cameras, both at the back, as well as the front. Now there are a lot offeatures on the 5G modelthat are the same as the other S10.So we've got Android Pie with OneUI.We have an ultrasonic indisplay fingerprint senors.A metal and glass build, sothe version I was testing outhad a metal frame with curved glass panelson the front and back as we've seen. But the color was quite unique,it was this sort of blue color, and it gave off a littlebit of a rainbow reflection. It was really interesting to seethis sort of texture at the back. We've got stereo speakers, one in the earpiece and one bottom firing, and yes, we do have a 3.5mmjack, even on the 5G version. One thing we don't haveunfortunately on the 5G version, which we have on the otherversions is a micro SD card slot. So, you can't expand thestorage on the 5G version. It comes with 8GB of ramand 256GB of storage. As far as I'm aware, thereare no other options,at least not at launch. Now this may change closerto the time of release, and in terms of the battery,we have a massive 4,500 mAh battery,so that's larger than the S10+,which has a 4,100 mAh battery. We also have super fast charging,so we have fast chargingon the other S10s.On the S10 5G, we havesuper fast charging, which is around 25 watts wired. We've got fast wireless charging 2.0,as well as wireless power shares. This is reverse wireless charging, where you can use your deviceto charge other deviceson accessories and things like that. These are features that we doalso have on the other S10s.Now in terms of release, I've been toldthat we're looking around summer time. This is when 5G technologywould have rolled outa little bit more, and thesedevices will be ready for sale.I have not been given anyinformation on pricing.Considering that the S10+comes in at around 900 pounds, that's the starting base model,I'd expect this to be aroundthe 11, 1200 pound mark personally.Again, I'm not 100% sure about this, this is just me guessing.Once we've got more pricing andavailability of information,I'll be dropping that inthe description below. So, that's everything we knowabout the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G so far. We've only had a brief look, but it looks very, very exciting. What do you guys think of it?Definitely drop me a comment below, and let me know your thoughts.I hope you enjoyed thisvideo and found it useful. If you did, then do itthat thumbs up for me,it really does help me out.And if you haven't already, then be sure to subscribe, and to switch on notifications. We've got lots moreSamsung Galaxy S10 contentcoming up on here. Thanks for watching, thisis Saf on SuperSaf TV,I'll see you next time.\n"
