Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato _ REVIEW

The Lamborghini Stato: A Limited Edition Car that Exceeds Expectations

As we take a closer look at the Lamborghini Stato, it's clear that this car is not just another limited edition model from the Italian supercar manufacturer. The Stato, which stands for "State of Emergency," is a one-off creation that showcases the company's engineering prowess and attention to detail. With its unique design and exceptional performance capabilities, the Stato is sure to turn heads on the road.

One of the standout features of the Stato is its ability to handle rough terrain with ease. The car comes equipped with special Bridgestone tires made for dirt roads, which are run-flat, meaning that even if you get a flat tire, you can continue driving without much issue. This feature makes the Stato an excellent choice for those who enjoy off-road adventures or live in areas with rugged terrain.

The interior of the Stato is where things get really interesting. While it's not drastically different from other Lamborghini models, there are some unique touches that set it apart. The stitching on the seats and dashboard is a nice touch, and the speedometer has been replaced by a rally mode indicator. When activated, the rally mode engages a unique ESP setting and torque distribution for the four-wheel drive system, allowing the car to slide and handle like a true racing machine.

Speaking of handling, one of the most impressive features of the Stato is its ability to turn heads with its unique sound design. The naturally aspirated V10 engine sounds almost like a vacuum when you start it up, which is certainly an unusual and impressive sight. However, what's even more remarkable is that this sound is not just limited to the engine itself but also extends to the car's exterior, where high-beam lights have been added to create an otherworldly effect.

But what really sets the Stato apart from its competitors is its ride height. At 44 mm higher than the Huracan Evo, the Stato offers a more comfortable driving experience while still maintaining exceptional handling and responsiveness. The suspension has been adjusted to accommodate the increased ride height, providing a smoother and more planted feel on the road.

One of the funniest moments during our test drive was when Max mentioned that the car should have come with a turbocharged engine instead of its naturally aspirated V10 powerplant. While this might seem like an obvious suggestion, it's clear that Lamborghini engineers had other plans in mind. The Stato's performance capabilities are undoubtedly impressive, but they're also rooted in a deep understanding of handling and agility.

As we continued our drive, we couldn't help but notice the car's incredible grip and responsiveness. The tires seem to have a life of their own, responding eagerly to even the slightest inputs from the driver. This makes the Stato feel like a true racing machine, albeit one that's designed for everyday driving rather than track use.

In fact, the Stato's ability to handle rough terrain is so impressive that we found ourselves enjoying the ride on paved roads as much as we did on dirt tracks. The car's agility and responsiveness make it feel like an extension of the driver itself, which is a truly exhilarating experience.

As we pulled up to our lunch location, Max turned to us with a grin and said, "This is my favorite Huracan model – I hate that word." It's clear that the Stato has won him over, and it's easy to see why. With its unique blend of style, performance, and handling capabilities, this limited edition car is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who gets behind the wheel.

Lamborghini's decision to limit production to just 1499 units was undoubtedly motivated by a desire to create something truly special. And with the Stato, they've certainly succeeded. Whether you're a seasoned Lamborghini enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates exceptional engineering and design, the Stato is an absolute must-see. With its unique blend of style, performance, and handling capabilities, this limited edition car is sure to be remembered for years to come.

As we prepared to leave our lunch location, Max couldn't help but tease us about what could have been if Lamborghini had added a turbocharged engine to the Stato's powerplant. While this might seem like an obvious suggestion, it's clear that Lamborghini engineers were on a mission to create something truly unique and special.

In many ways, the Stato feels like a love letter to driving itself – a celebration of the joy, excitement, and raw emotion that comes from getting behind the wheel of a well-crafted machine. And with its incredible performance capabilities, handling, and style, it's little wonder why this limited edition car has captured the hearts of so many Lamborghini enthusiasts.

The Stato may not be for everyone – especially those who prioritize sheer speed above all else. But for those who appreciate exceptional engineering, design, and driving dynamics, this limited edition car is an absolute must-see. With its unique blend of style, performance, and handling capabilities, the Stato is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who gets behind the wheel.

As we wrapped up our time with the Stato, it was clear that this car has truly exceeded expectations. Whether you're a seasoned Lamborghini enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates exceptional engineering and design, the Stato is an absolute must-see. With its unique blend of style, performance, and handling capabilities, this limited edition car is sure to be remembered for years to come.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enso what's up guys and welcome to the beautiful mountains up near the Italian Alps uh we are here with a bunch of Lamborghinis and our video today is about this the Stato which we already drove yesterday but it was just pouring with rain yesterday we had the white one in the rain it looked absolutely awesome now we have this sodi stat is the off-road version of course it's 44 mm higher than a normal Huracan it's got the 610 horsepower version engine the V10 5.2 with an air intake on top uh to make sure it doesn't breathe in any dust or anything so it's not like with the sto where the hood scoop is just uh to cool down the engine and the exhaust this is actually an air intake not so loads of black plastic pieces to yeah make it look a bit more beefy but also if you hit someone or someone something while rallying you can just easily replace it and it won't be as expensive as when it's painted so that's a big difference um the carbon ceramic brakes have a special coating so that it repels dust and dirt CU normally Caron Ceramics uh you don't don't want any dirt on it so if you want to fit your skis on top of here no problem and you also get these special Bridgestone tires which are made for the dirt and these are run Flats so if you get a flat it's not really a problem you can just continue on perfect so as you can see the Stato is a limited edition car one of1 1499 and it was sold out in 2 days I was just told by our expert and many of those have gone to the US right 500 500 and he could have sold three times that many I mean if you have like a Dukes of Hazard I mean just a broad wide country road with this would be so much fun but I think the Italian Mountains will suffice for today it's very good so on the interior um not really any different except for the stado stitching on the seats and the speedo and the speedo is a bit different and we have a rally mode so normally the bottom one is Corsa uh and that's now rally mode and in da mode you have like a unique ESP setting unique torque distribution for the four-wheel drive system to make it slide that's most important with this car you need to slide it so fun fact if you have a 610 horsepower version of today's Huracan watch and learn you have a round exhaust if you have the 640 version like an EVO an stto a Technica oh Evo is not Evo 610 by the way it's a sdo also doesn't have octagonal it's just techn scrap my scrap my scratch that there goes my theory Good carry on Max is now going to demonstrate rally mode so the naturally aspirated V10 is still there and we have these lights look at this that's that's a brand new car from 2023 how is that possible and it makes this noise I mean how the hell is it possible that an AMG sounds like a vacuum and this can still sound like this it's that was insane it's so loud w the power of those extra highbeam lights is insane it is crazy so there's a little toggle switch right here for the extra lights but you can only activate them if you have your high beams on so as I said the ride it is 44 mm higher but it is a little more comfortable than like in Huracan Evo but I think the drive the essence of the drive is very comparable it's not a big I feel like we're in a Top Gear special yeah it does really have that Vibe beautiful so you're just saying suspension suspension 44 mm higher but it's the same suspension setup the same damper setup yeah so with different calibration so it is still it's it's still super sharp it still feels really planted it it feels very good it's just there's a little bit more movement in the body because you have a longer spring basically and you have better clearance as well which is very nice so if you actually use this car which I hope that the people who buy well the people who have already bought them uh are going to do this is very good because speed bumps not an issue you you don't even have a lift because you don't need it a nose lift but it also kind of uh throws a bit of shadow on the Porsche 9911 dear I definitely defin they they should have just called with a a turbo they should have D just put a turbo drivetrain in that thing and you would have you would have had a just crazy crazy car like this this is crazy and it looks so cool so yesterday we had a lot a lot of rain crazy so we have some beautiful shots ah thanks box there we go again little bit of under understander there on the on these snobby tires in the we it's so cool because as soon as you get a little bit of movement on those tires the car just becomes so much more playful if you drive an stto and you drive it on the limit uh and you go over that limit it goes very quickly it it it like lets go because it has so much grip that if you start pushing it and it goes you have to be awake with this car because the tires have a little bit less grip you can start playing around and and feeling out the limits of the grip a little bit sooner at lower speeds which just adds to the fun factor of the car I hate that word but it's just a fun car it feels a little bit less serious as well quite like that w oh it what right guys so next stop is our Lunch location and this was our little different review of the Lamborghini Stato Stato lovely car really like it it is my favorite of the Huracan family the Huracan Brothers yeah and uh if you won't one go beg someone to sell it because they're all sold out but if you can get one you really shouldso what's up guys and welcome to the beautiful mountains up near the Italian Alps uh we are here with a bunch of Lamborghinis and
