The iPhone 7 Unboxing: A Closer Look at Apple's Latest Device

As we already know it does not have a headphone jack now let's get straight to the phone so we'll remove the plastic and here it is the iPhone 7 it looks very very nice in this stealth black I have to say the antenna lines aren't really visible because they are color-coded so they kind of disappear and I am personally quite liking this color compared to the jet black which is quite a bit of a fingerprint magnet.

Taking a closer look around the phone up front is a 4.7 inch display now this is a little bit brighter and also has a wider color gamut compared to last year but it is the same resolution on the top side of the front there's a sensor a 7 megapixel front-facing camera now this is up from last year's 5 megapixels I'm definitely looking forward to checking it out and then we have our earpiece which also doubles up as a speaker because this time run we do have stereo speakers on the bottom side of the front is your home button this is no longer a physical button so this actually gives you haptic feedback and also doubles up as a touch ID fingerprint scanner flipping the device around we can see the 12 megapixel rear facing camera now this has had a big improvement compared to last year we have an F 1.8 aperture as well as optical image stabilization last year optical image stabilization was only for the Plus model but now we do have it for the standard version I personally can't wait to check this out and put it up against some competition in some super soft style camera comparisons if you want to see those first then make sure you have subscribed and hit that thumbs up button to let me know there's a quad led true tone flash which is supposed to be quite improved compared to last year and then we have a secondary mic as well as the Apple logo at the bottom side of the back we have the iPhone logo as well as some information which doesn't stand out too much which is quite good I know some countries will not have this but it is still present here in the UK.

One thing that stands out to me is that camera hump that you can notice on the right hand side is the power button as well as the SIM card tray on the left hand side are the volume buttons as well as the mute toggle switch. The design of the iPhone 7 is sleek and minimalist, with a focus on functionality and ease of use.

The biggest change for many users will be the absence of a headphone jack, which has been replaced by a single lightning port that also serves as a charging point. This means that users who rely on their phone's audio output to charge it while listening to music may find themselves unable to do so with the iPhone 7. However, Apple has included dual speakers in the device, which are positioned at the bottom of the phone and provide a more immersive listening experience.

Now let's go ahead and give it a first boot I'm gonna skip through everything here because everything is the same what is different is that we now have your home button configuration because this is no longer a physical button you do have to set up the sensitivity of it and I'm gonna go for something in-between so too seems to be good enough it's quite weird feeling and it will take time getting used to but I'm sure it's not gonna be a huge deal for most.

this is not the case then we have some standard stuff such as your power brick this may differ depending on where you're from a USB to lightning cable and what's different this time is that the earpods have a lightning connector rather than the 3.5 millimeter headphone connector that you'd usually find and Apple have also included a converter so if you want to use your old headphones you can
