MARSHALL EMBERTON 2 - The Best Just Got Better!

**The Battle for Sound Supremacy: JBL vs Marshall**

As a self-proclaimed audiophile and tech enthusiast, I've always been on the hunt for the perfect speaker to complement my music collection. Recently, I had the opportunity to compare two of my favorite speakers from different brands - JBL and Marshall. Both speakers promise a great sound experience, but which one reigns supreme?

**A Matter of Taste**

For me, it's not just about sound quality; aesthetics play a significant role in my decision-making process. I want my speaker to look as good as it sounds, so I took some time to appreciate the designs of both speakers. The JBL speaker that caught my attention was sleek and modern, with a minimalist design that screamed "high-end technology." On the other hand, the Marshall Emberton had a rugged, edgy look that appealed to my inner rockstar. It's not just about sound quality; you gotta factor in everything into your decision.

**The Ultimate Showdown: JBL vs Marshall**

Now, let's talk about the music itself. As someone who loves hardcore hip-hop with heavy basslines, I need a speaker that can deliver those low-end frequencies without compromising on clarity and depth. The JBL speaker delivered exactly that - rich, punchy sound with just the right amount of bass. However, when it came to features, the Marshall Emberton took the lead. With its sleek design and user-friendly interface, this speaker offered a seamless listening experience that my JBL counterpart couldn't match.

**From Beached to Desked: Speaker Utility**

But what about portability? As someone who likes to take their music on the go, I need a speaker that can keep up with me. The Marshall Emberton is the perfect companion for beach trips and outdoor adventures, thanks to its rugged design and water-resistance. On the other hand, the JBL speaker might not be the best choice for such activities due to its more delicate build.

**The Secret Sauce: Sound Features**

One feature that caught my attention was the Marshall Emberton's new "stack mode." This innovative feature allows users to pair two speakers wirelessly, creating a seamless listening experience. Unfortunately, this feature wasn't available on the JBL speaker I compared it to. Additionally, the Emberton had better battery life, a higher IP rating, and more intuitive app support - making it a clear winner in this department.

**The Verdict: Marshall Emberton Reigns Supreme**

After putting both speakers through their paces, I have to give it to the Marshall Emberton. Its sleek design, impressive sound quality, and innovative features make it the perfect choice for anyone looking for a premium speaker experience. Of course, there's one major drawback - its price tag comes with a hefty cost of $199. Still, if you're looking for a top-notch speaker that delivers on both performance and style, the Marshall Emberton is an investment worth considering.

pairing button also your power button again this is multi-functional volume up and down playing poor skipping reverse tracks let's hit the power button see if we got any juice on this one okay i'm gonna have to charge this one up a little bit but we see the led indicator is right there usb type-c charging speaker grille in the back nice and clean all right so let me charge this up and then we'll get back in talk amongst yourselves all right josh so we back in now before i go any further let's take a look at the cream version and recap the buttons correctly this is the power button okay this is the bluetooth pairing button so i was pressing the wrong button now the side note i know somebody that has the marshall edmonton 2 right now was at home typing there's not the power button there's the bluetooth pairing button all right all right calm down i made a mistake okay i use a thousand bluetooth speakers every week i made a mistake all right give me a break i know y'all youtube correction officers go ahead and delete that comment okay this is the bluetooth pair button this is the power button okay so now you got power let's go ahead and hit that you got that i love that sound then when you turn it off same sound i love it okay so this is gonna be volume up and down skipping reverse tracks play and pause okay on one side you got your usb type-c charging slot bottom nice and clean the back i love this metal speaker grill all right this is what makes this speaker look so classy the speaker grills okay it gives it that old-school classic high-end musical instrument kind of look to it i just looks like professional equipment i love it all right i love it so the speaker looks and feels amazing now the side note at the end of this video i'm gonna compare it to the jbl flip six now i know somebody's gonna say what about the jbl charge five look at the difference in size okay these the jbl charge five is a lot bigger and a lot heavier okay so we're not talking about the price we're going by size i said a jbl flip 6 is about the same exact size and weight so that's the speaker that i'm going to compare it to all right so let's grab a phone and pair this up all right so once you power up the speaker it's automatically going to be in bluetooth parent mode grab your phone go to the bluetooth menu and select the emberton 2. now the next thing you want to do is download the marshall app now check this out you got stack mode you got equalizer presets and check this out you got multi-host functionality all right so that's multi-point connection you can pair two devices at the same time you also get over-the-air updates okay so it shows you your speaker you got your battery percentage you got your eq presets so you got marshall all right the fine tune martial signature sound that you know and love you got my favorite push okay that's boosted bass and trouble for an even heavier sound and you got voice enhanced mid-range for more clarity when listening to voice focus content okay you got stack mode so you can pair two of these together wirelessly you got about forget device and of course you got play pause skip and reverse tracks volume up and down okay so the app is simple and straightforward now let's do a little sound test all right so i'm going to start off at maximum volume and i got the eq set to marshall signature sound now as usual make sure you put on your headphones or watch this video using the quality system so you can really hear the difference all right here it is the official cooking with theme song let's go me okay now i'm going to start that same song over again but this time i'm going to change the eq to push here we go so so okay now for the kind of music that i like to listen to the push eq setting is amazing let's try another song foreign okay now i love the marshall signature sound the clarity is amazing it's crystal clear nice and smooth i love this speaker okay i literally love this one now i know what you're saying does this one sound exactly like the marshall number one or does it sound better let's find out all right so we're going to start off with the original emberton and then we're going to go to the emberton 2. same iphones same song this one is on the stock eq settings because you can't change it i put this one on marshall signature sound here we go here's the emberton one okay here's the emberton true okay now i'm sitting right in front of both of these speakers and honestly they sound exactly the same but the thing about the emberton 2 is now you have the option to go to the eq settings and actually tweak the sound a little bit better so that's a win for marshall okay so they didn't go backwards they went forwards now i know what you're saying what about the willem let's find out all right here we go same test two iphones same song same eq settings martial signature sound let's start off with the willem all right now here's the emberton ii bro that just goes to show you how dope this willem speaker is that the emberton 2 is definitely a little bit louder but not by much not by much this speaker is so sick but you hear the difference for yourself the emerton 2 is definitely a little bit louder but this speaker right here is so dope and you got a speakerphone come on bro come on now i know what you're saying what about two emberton twos in stack mode let's find out all right now to activate stack mode real simple on the first speaker you're gonna press the bluetooth pairing button three times on the second speaker you're gonna press it twice you wait about five seconds and it'll automatically connect together now during this test you're gonna see me pick up the speaker and go like this basically what i'm doing is stretching out my arm as far back as i can just so you can hear a little bit of separation all right here we go max volume i got the eq set to push these with silly options mathematics okay now real quick i'm gonna switch to marshall's signature sound let's keep it going you still stick around and find half cabbage would you come to my shows if i wrapped average except for my flows i'm just trying okay now two of these paired together sound incredible i'm sorry i was back here zoning out to the song which on the side note a lot of people been asking me about that song it's not a real song all right that's just my nephew making a little freestyle over the 50 cents 21 questions kind of theme i've been telling him to release that song ever since i heard it but he don't want to so you want me to just use it in the test videos kind of made it just for me and i respect that but anyway two of these pair together sound dope okay with either eq setting now what about the ambition versus the infamous the infamous jbl flip six let's find out all right now for this test with the jbl flip six i'm gonna start with the eq settings on stock and with the marshall we're gonna start off with marshall's signature sound then i'm gonna do it again i'm gonna tweak the eq settings on the jbl to my favorite settings and then i'm to put the marshall on push all right so let's start off with the jbl yo sound test test everybody shut your mouth for sound test time to test that quality the sound test how's it sound flaws how the sound floss how's this how's it sound now does it sound big does it sound loud that quality of sound test how's it sound floss how the sound floss how's this found now how's it sound now does it sound big does it sound loud that's a okay now i just tweaked the jbl settings here's the jbl again on my favorite settings yo sound test how's it sound how's that's a okay now i know the mic might not do it justice but i'm sitting right in front of both of these speakers and honestly the jbl is definitely louder and has more bass but the marshall the clarity on the marshall now it all depends on what kind of music you like that's where sound signature comes into play let me play a little bit more just to see if you can hear the difference here's the jbl how's the sound white shoes how's the sound on it okay here's the marshall white shoes the sound on it okay again this is where sound signature comes into play now it all depends on the kind of music that you like if you like the best of beethoven uh you listen to a lot of classical music rock and roll music that's heavy on instruments and clarity you know you you want to hear that you know the symbols and you know you want to hear the guitar riffs marshall is the way to go the clarity is on point but jbl all right jbl is tuned for rap music edm trap music you want to hear that you had a bass on the jbl just sounds a lot fuller and it's more in your face the marshall is more laid back you know you have a glass of wine throw your marshall speak on you drink a hennessy you want the jbl speaker that's the easiest way to explain it all right hennessy versus wine okay both of these speakers sound amazing for the kind of music that i like i would go with the jbl all right i like a lot of hardcore hip-hop music with a lot of hardcore heavy bass lines jbl but here's the thing okay it's not just about sound it's about look i want to show you something real quick i just took a picture upstairs earlier it's not just about sound it's about look which one of these speakers do you want to have on your desk now let me pull up a quick picture look at this look at my computer desk you see the marshall right there imagine the jbl speaker right there under that fancy setup it's gonna look trash okay it's not just about sound quality you gotta factor everything into your decision you're spending almost 200 bucks on either one of these speakers which one do you want to have on your desk okay now this is the perfect speaker to take to the beach throw on your bike it has that rugged look to it this one has the more classy look to it i would never take this one to the beach personally even though you can but this one just looks so clean and elegant look at the look look how pristine my green one still looks now i know some of y'all gonna say oh floss you being a marshall fan boy anybody that watches my channel knows that i'm jbl do or die i'd ever i got every jbl speaker known to man but there's something about these marshall speakers that just hit me you know hitting me in my man gland they're activating my man glands i love the look of these it's probably the look the look is what's killing me with these i love it now real quick let's test out the button features because that's one thing that um i wanted to save to the end here we go let's hit play and pause oh let me play some music how many times you knew i was checking okay so that's playing pause that's going backtrack that's forward track maximum volume and you got lower volume now there's one important thing i want to show you that they got rid of watch this now check this out this was a feature on the original marshall edmonton that a lot of people didn't like when you go to max volume you get this annoying little sound watch a lot of people didn't like that it kind of interrupts your music now with the emergency no sound when you're playing pause and no sound when you get to max volume this one when you're playing pause you actually get a sound also now no sound that's a nice little upgrade right there let's go ahead and wrap this up all right so overall on a scale of one to ten i'm giving the marshall emberton to a major major major go basically what they did is take one of my favorite marshall speakers and made it better now i got a bunch of embertons and my biggest gripe was i couldn't pair two of these together wirelessly so i got one in my desktop at work one on my computer table one in the attic now with the emberton two i can have two of these paired together on my desktop and get that banging marshall sound now my only gripe was i wish it would have had a speakerphone like the willem and i wish it would have came out in green other than that this is full upgrades all across the table better battery life better ip rating now you got app support so you can change your eq settings better bluetooth connectivity and you got stack mode this is a major win anyway marshall edmonton too hit me up in the comments let me know what y'all think about this one and again any questions about the about look i want to show you something real quick i just took a picture upstairs earlier it's not just about sound it's about look which one of these speakers do you want to have on your desk now let me pull up a quick picture look at this look at my computer desk you see the marshall right there imagine the jbl speaker right there under that fancy setup it's gonna look trash okay it's not just about sound quality you gotta factor everything into your decision you're spending almost 200 bucks on either one of these speakers which one do you want to have on your desk okay now this is the perfect speaker to take to the beach throw on your bike it has that rugged look to it this one has the more classy look to it i would never take this one to the beach personally even though you can but this one just looks so clean and elegant look at the look look how pristine my green one still looks now i know some of y'all gonna say oh floss you being a marshall fan boy anybody that watches my channel knows that i'm jbl do or die i'd ever i got every jbl speaker known to man but there's something about these marshall speakers that just hit me you know hitting me in my man gland they're activating my man glands i love the look of these it's probably the look the look is what's killing me with these i love it now real quick let's test out the button features because that's one thing that um i wanted to save to the end here we go let's hit play and pause oh let me play some music how many times you knew i was checking okay so that's playing pause that's going backtrack that's forward track maximum volume and you got lower volume now there's one important thing i want to show you that they got rid of watch this now check this out this was a feature on the original marshall edmonton that a lot of people didn't like when you go to max volume you get this annoying little sound watch a lot of people didn't like that it kind of interrupts your music now with the emergency no sound when you're playing pause and no sound when you get to max volume this one when you're playing pause you actually get a sound also now no sound that's a nice little upgrade right there let's go ahead and wrap this up all right so overall on a scale of one to ten i'm giving the marshall emberton to a major major major go basically what they did is take one of my favorite marshall speakers and made it better now i got a bunch of embertons and my biggest gripe was i couldn't pair two of these together wirelessly so i got one in my desktop at work one on my computer table one in the attic now with the emberton two i can have two of these paired together on my desktop and get that banging marshall sound now my only gripe was i wish it would have had a speakerphone like the willem and i wish it would have came out in green other than that this is full upgrades all across the table better battery life better ip rating now you got app support so you can change your eq settings better bluetooth connectivity and you got stack mode this is a major win anyway marshall edmonton too hit me up in the comments let me know what y'all think about this one and again any questions about the
