Setting Up Your iPhone on T-Mobile: A Step-by-Step Guide

Hey guys, everything Apple Pro here and I'm going to show you how to set up your iPhone on T-Mobile. This could be for old-time users or new users, but in this video, I'm going to be showing you how to get 3G and data working, how to get MMS iMessage and FaceTime working on any firmware any iPhone running T-Mobile's Network. Finally, I do have 3G service here in Vancouver Washington, and many of you guys may even have 3G where you're at, you're just not aware of it because you haven't updated your settings. But don't worry, in this video, we're quickly going to do that and it's going to work perfectly.

To start, head over to Safari and paste the following into the top bar: tmobile.com slis setup select go. This will bring up a popup to install the configuration settings. I already have them installed, so I don't need to do that, but you want to make sure and click install, and that's it. Now, from here, you want to go to Settings and then General cellular. You want to disable enable 3G or enable it if it's off, and it will find 3G service. I'm hooked up to Wi-Fi right now, so it won't show, but for me, it did find it, and I was actually very surprised - I wasn't aware that 3G was available in my area.

That fixes your data in 3G. To fix your MMS, you want to go to Cellular and cellular data Network. You want to type in the following code. I'll have all of this in a link down below in the description, so you can get it up close and type it in. But basically, this fixes your picture messaging. Once you do have it all in word for word, no capitals, you just want to make sure everything is typed in correctly. You're going to go back, and then you're going to go to messages. In messages, you want to make sure MMS messaging is selected. If it's off, go ahead and select on. Once you have that, MMS will now work. Also, do want to make sure that data roaming is enabled, so you can send MMS picture messages no matter where you are.

I got to say, my iMessage in FaceTime works perfectly after using this, so I hope yours does too. But your data 3G and picture messaging should be working perfectly after using this video. Have a great day guys, enjoy your newly updated T-Mobile iPhone.
