be honest this is my first product I've ever used from Gava goods and based on First Impressions I got to say I'm quite impressed because this thing worked right out of the box with zero issues okay so this is a color changing bulb we've seen this kind of product before but what's special about this one well let's dive into it first of all it's RGB I love me some RGB and for those who don't know RGB stands for red green blue basically this means you can access literally millions of different colors this bowl is fully dimmable which is huge with me love that feature it turns on and off per my schedule it's compatible with both Alexa and Google home and guys I got to say I'm a huge fan of my Google Nest Hub at least the nest Hub Max which is in my kitchen also I have a regular sized Nest Hub in my bedroom and I use that all the time so the fact that this is compatible with both those devices love it this bulb goes up to 800 lumens in brightness and I got to say I was never once disappointed by how bright this bulb can go it's especially as a living room bulb and finally let's talk cost and then I'll dive into how to set up the bulb with the app and all that stuff and I promise it's really really easy guys according to Gaba Goods this bulb estimated is going to cost me $18 a year that's really cool because everything seems to be getting more expensive in recent years but with something like this no a18 that's less than a cup of coffee and finally everything with this bulb Works within the official G home mobile app which is available for both Android and iOS okay so jumping into the setup process guys I promise this is one of the easiest smart gadgets you will ever set up because it just works right out of the box it's so so easy to use all right so first of all you insert the bulb into any standard bulb sockets and yes that means you don't need any kind of special adapter or anything it's just plug andplay the bulb will begin flashing which is perfectly normal this is when you install the official gome smart app again available for both Android and iOS once the gome app is installed you simply add a new device you input your Wi-Fi details and bada bing bada boom you're done it's that easy all right so you do everything with this bulb within the official gome app this means you can adjust the brightness you can even change the temperature between cool and warm now personally I prefer warm because this is going to be used as a living room bulb and for me I just think that looks best but of course this is down to your personal preference okay but let's be real here guys setting a bulb with to cool or warm temperatures yeah that's really nice and all I love that but the real beauty of this bulb comes from the millions of colors that you can choose from all within the app just slide your finger over the color you prefer and boom it's done but of course that is not it you can also select from predefined scenes or even edit your own scenes okay so let's jump into my favorite feature about this smart bulb by far besides the colors of course that's no secret I love me some LEDs it's setting up a plan so it is basically means I can set this bulb to work per my schedule okay so here's my own personal plan every single morning this bulb turns off at 4 a.m. because well I'm a night outl and I like my house being lit until I well you know typically go to sleep and every night it turned on at around 8:00 p.m. now of course when we change our clocks again in a few months I can simply adjust this all within the app oh and also get this this is something I haven't really seen in other smart bulbs it actually Fades on and off off per your scheduled plan which means I can actually have the lights gradually fade off within 5 minutes and guys I'm not kidding you I love this effect it is so cool to see my living room gradually become less and less bright yeah it sounds kind of simple saying it out loud but hey it's as simple things that I appreciate and finally you can group multiple items together all within the gome app this means that you can control groups of lights or devices with a single tap and Yep this is
