ALL WHEEL DRIVE Camaro  (and 14 other BADASS Cars!)

**Top 15 Picks from Dora Slammers Race at Santa Pod**

The Dora Slammers race at Santa Pod was an event to remember, with some incredible cars on display and impressive performances under the track. As I made my way through the top 5, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for what was to come.

**Number 15: The Mystery Car**

My journey into the top 15 picks started with a car that I had heard running around the staging lanes, but couldn't figure out what it was. As I looked around, I finally saw an all-wheel-drive LSX powered v8 Evo 8 from Poland, shop called BTG who specializes in all-wheel drive V8 swamp cars. This car was powered by a 388 cubic inch motor, backed up by a Dart block with Creeks flow heads and a 91 millimeter turbo spool by 150 shots, making it a formidable force on the track, putting down around 1,200 horsepower.

**Number 14: The Ugly Sister**

Coming in at number 4 was the "Ugly Sister" - a 1956 Chevy that looked like it had been through a rap battle. However, as I found out later, this car's unique appearance was due to an expert paint job rather than any actual rapping abilities. Despite its unusual looks, this car was a beast on the track, powered by IC e Automotive 665 cubic inch motor and chrome-on-88 headers, putting down nearly 2,500 horsepower.

**Number 13: Richie Webb's Beetle**

At number 3, I had the pleasure of meeting Richie Webb, who brought his iconic 1967 Convertible Books Wagon Beetle to the track. The car was a sight to behold, with its massive turbo sitting behind it, spitting flames as it tore down the track. Although it didn't quite live up to Richie's expectations, he still managed to put on a show for everyone in attendance.

**Number 12: Fast Freddy**

Coming in at number 2 was driver Fast Freddy, known across Europe for his massive burnouts and ability to put a smile on people's faces. Despite struggling with two of their spare motors, they still managed to lay down impressive passes, including a personal best of 604 at the quarter-mile. I had the chance to hang out with Fast Freddy as much as possible, and it was clear that he was just as excited about the event as everyone else.

**Number 11: Marsan's Camaro**

At number 1 pick, my favorite car from the Dora Slammers race was a one-of-a-kind all-wheel drive Chevy Camaro owned by Marsan Blouse. This car was built by VTG from Poland and featured an all-wheel drive setup, with a front diff out of the GMC Typhoon putting down 1,700 wheel horsepower. Powered by a 406 cubic inch small block Chevy and a 72 millimeter turbo, this car was a beast on the track, but unfortunately blew up one of its turbos during their first pass, forcing them to hunt for another one.

**Additional Action**

I also had the chance to stay for the main event following weekend and witnessed even more incredible action from the Dora Slammers. With plenty more content coming our way, I'll be sure to keep you updated on all the latest news from Santa Pod.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: endoor slams 2019 here at santa pottery sway was an epic epic event my first time to the track and it was an awesome experience there were so many unique cars and you guys have to see these if you haven't heard already I lost all the footage in London my car was broken into but some of the videographers here we're willing to give me all of their content some other content the features that I was looking at and I I can't thank them enough please go to the description below follow each and every single one of them as a thank you because I couldn't bring this to you without them check this out starting at number 15 is a really funky looking car and one car really wanted to see when I like to stay in a pod for the first time this is a 1969 Sunbeam stiletto car I've never heard of I definitely seen it online this car runs in the 7 second quarter mile range at almost 180 miles an hour and it's only because Joe has shoved a 540 cubic inch big block Chevy into this car with twin 76s they'll be see more of this car in a future on to number 14 in another car wasn't familiar with this is an 1884 Fiesta Super Sport built by Chris Todd and it caught my attention at the starting line because nearly every pass it would make it was pulling the wheels and it wasn't super fast but it's a very unique looking car so I'd to go check it out when I showed up in the pits he popped the back hatch and here's a boxer motor in the back with the turbo and I had to know more about this car it's a shame we don't have the footage because it was a really cool tour this car Lots unique pieces to it the cars been in the mid 948 miles an hour and makes almost 700 horsepower 32 pounds of boost another unique thing about this car is a sequentially shifted 5-speed transmission but that's not it Chris has made a custom pneumatic shifters so the actual shifter moves as the car changes gears through the paddle shifters among the sea of cars that I wasn't familiar with at Santa pod was a bunch of Ford escorts and one in particular that stood out is our number 13 pick kept Jenkins in 1973 fraudster escort nicknamed that because it's not powered by a Ford motor it's actually got a two-liter GM Vauxhall c20 le t engine and it's boosted by a single precision turbo this car has actually been deep 865 miles an hour and it was a lot of fun to watch the track and don't worry you'll be seeing more of this car as a feature on our channel soon number twelve on my pics brings us to mark Todd's beautiful-looking 2012 Aston Martin Vantage and well has an original aluminum Aston Martin body on it it's a race car door Neath but it is registered it is Road legal and mark hopes to run sixes of it eventually well he didn't reach that goal during door Slammers I got to see him make some really good progress on that it's powered with the fuel tech 600 puts down nearly 3,000 horsepower this is yet another car that you'll be seeing a future on our channel very soon number eleven brings us to the street racer civic this is a car that really stood out because of its beat job but also because of its performance driven by Wendell brand this car is powered by a 1.8 liter Honda motor and a precision 76 85 it's got a h-pattern dog box in it with approximately 1,200 horsepower in this car turned some heads as it reset the European front wheel drive record number ten brings us to another unique car unique platform especially for Europe v8 diesels really aren't that big they're actually there aren't any of them the only place you can really find them is on military bases mainly American trucks and that's exactly where the power plant came for John Suisse diesel s10 outside of being a super unique platform for England there were two of the reasons I really like this truck John explained to me that there really wasn't much else done to the motor other than fuel upgrades and he had a pair of unknown size turbos impulses and I mean hold on what he was doing with the truck and well it does have nitrous he still has yet to spray it the trucks just fast enough as is the last years I love this truck and diesel drag racing in general the motors aren't that loud so when it makes a solo pass all you hear is a turbo spooling and the tires were playing on these two truck the entire way down the track it's just crazy to hear in person so far John's were the best of at 8:24 170 but we're sure we're gonna be seeing him in the sevens pretty soon on to number nine and a car that you don't typically see it's Ana pod this level of horsepower palsy of ex material more GTR from Germany has around 2,500 horsepower and while it's hard to excite me when it comes to our 35 s because of the popularity here in states this one is very all this finished interior in a way that I have never seen in our 35 in this car is hopeful to run sixes so he'll do it in style if he does and one other unique part about this car he was telling me is that some of the turbo kit parts are actually from Tony pelas t1 GTR that's being rebuilt right now the power plant is a 4.3 liter AMS alpha billet block boosted by twin precision PT 83-85 triples number eight brings me to a car that was only familiar with because of our travels to Sweden our friend Charlie brought in 1966 Volvo Amazon across the pond from Sweden powered by a 540 cubic inch big block Chevy and a pair of ramadi 88 turbos it puts down plenty of power and I chose this car because it's such a unique looking cars especially for the pro doors image class the quickest class of the event and he was outgunned only because this is his first time ever having the car out and didn't have a single quarter-mile pass on it so it did pretty dang good considering that number seven is a super unique car and it's not one of the quickest cars at the event it's actually one of the slowest is Fiat 126 from 1989 driven by Adam Skinner has a very unique power plant that motors in the back of this car it's actually a Toyota engine from a Celica or Camry or mr2 it's a 3s GTE with a GT 3076 our Gen 2 Garrett turbo atom sure looks like he's having a ton of fun on this car when it pulls the wheels and he's got to shift this thing down the quarter mile he's almost broke into the nine so far and he's hoping to do that next year but his weak point is the transmission number six brings me to a car that I've recognized in my previous travels to Europe but couldn't quite place what it was mainly because of the way it looks to be quick at the drag strip Richard baddies in 1995 Mitsubishi FTO it was actually the first eight second front-wheel drive car in the UK and held the front wheel drive record back in 2014 into 889 174 Richard actually haven't run the car since 2014 this was his read a beaut of the car he's hoping to be competitive in the class once again now that we're getting into the top 5 I'm getting really excited about sharing these cars with the kids coming in at number 5 is a car that I heard running that I could not figure out what car was running I was looking around the staging lanes this is an all-wheel-drive LSX powered v8 Evo 8 all the way from Poland a shop called btg who specializes and all-wheel drive v8 swamps this cars powered by a 388 cubic inch motor back to Dart block with Creek flow heads and a 91 millimeter turbo spool by 150 shots so it's got quite a bit of power right around 1,200 horsepower it's got a three speed rösler and the typhoon front diff which is what really makes all this work number four brings us to handy bonds crazy-looking a 1956 Chevy called the ugly sister we had actually made a post on Instagram about five days before I came over and I had no idea I was gonna see the car person the craziest thing about this car is it looks like it has a rap on it because it's so detailed but it's actually a paint job will be going into full detail on this car and a full feature on our channel so keep an eye out for that cars powered by IC e automotive 665 cubic inch motor and chrome on 88 so it's got tons of power nearly 2,500 horsepower before the event he'd been a best of a 772 197 and he made a little bit of progress now we're into our top rate coming in at number three is a familiar face we met at Drag Week a couple years ago Richie Webb had his 1967 convertible books wagon beetle for the massive turbo sitting behind them it was quite the sight to see and this meat into the top three lists because it was so fun to watch get on the track spitting flames out behind his head and just going crazy down the track he had a brand new four-link suspension in the car which made it fun for us to watch but not quite as quick as he wanted to going down the track the cars been in the seven 90s before because it's powered by a flat four based 2,600 cc engine and that massive GTX 42 turbo that sits behind number two brings me to a driver that's as much an entertainer as he is a racer fast Freddy is well known across Europe for his massive burnouts and just putting a smile on people's face I tried to hang out with fast Freddy as much as I could over the teenage gangs every time I'd stop minors even though they're struggling both weekends they went through two of their spare motors and only had one left but managed to lay down some impressive passes but believe it or not he's run a personal best of a 604 at the quarter-mile don't worry you'll be seeing more of fast Freddie on our channel we'll be bringing you a full feature very soon and now for my number one pick of my favorite car from the door Sanders race a car that you may have guessed after seeing the all-wheel drive v8 Evo this 1968 Chevy Camaro owned and urban by marsan blouse is one-of-a-kind all-wheel drive also built by vtg from Poland and made possible with the front diff out of the GMC Typhoon puts down 1,700 wheel horsepower which is made possible by the 406 cubic inch small block Chevy and 20 88-millimeter turbo nedick's turbos this is yet again another car that I'd seen online before but never thought I'd see in person during one of their first passes of the weekend they actually blew up one of their turbos and they need to go hunting for another one so they could continue competing in the event the best they could find was a 72 millimeter turbo versus the 88 that was sitting next to it so to help counter the smaller turbo they threw a little bit of nitrous on there to make it through the event I hope you've enjoyed our top 15 picks from the door summers race at Santa pod we've got plenty more content coming from the main event the following weekend that I stayed for and here's even more action from the Dora Slammers rates you\n"
