**Creeks and Spray: A Solution to Rusty Parts**
So many creeks in their car that way now if you find that the noise comes back after a few months just spray it again. Now, of course, you want to check for actually worn out parts right? You got rubber that's ripped and torn and broken. You got to replace it. But many times these days, the rubber just gets old starts making noise and when you spray it, the At205 reseal rejuvenates the Rubber and the noise goes away. Some guys will use WD-40, it works similar but the WD-4 doesn't soak and rejuvenate the rubber; it just lubricates it. It won't last as long when it rains; it'll wash up fast.
**Gasoline Smell in the Car**
My 04 Tacoma smells like gasoline when I turn it on. Got a video, does your kind of smell the gasoline? Watch that, it'll give you all the tips now what you want to start out with is figure out where the smell is coming from. You say when you start it up first thing, start up the car; have somebody else start the car and stand at the back of the car smell the exhaust if it's coming out of the exhaust, it's running too rich. It could be all kinds of things - a leaky fuel injector, a bad fuel pressure regulator, lots of stuff. But that'll just be coming off the tailpipe on the back; open hood and you smell it there. Look for leaking fuel injectors, fuel lines that are spraying fuel because it's under high pressure. If you don't see any gas leaking dripping squirting then you're smelling gas vapors and they're much harder to pin down because you can't see the vapor right. So in that case, check the evap canister vent valve; that's the pollution part sometimes they go bad and they'll vent raw gasoline fumes only fumes not delivered into the atmosphere and you'll smell it.
**Opal Car Experience**
First car ever had was an Opal of course, I bought it for $550 bucks. I bought a dirt cheap. I drove the heck out of the thing right back in the day. They were simple; it was a carburetor; it was a four-speed manual transmission; it was very easy to work. I was young and cheap. The carburetor went bad one time, and I couldn't get a kit they didn't have any because Buick sold them GM owned Opal for a long time for decades so I got a Kellogg cereal box and I cut it out and I made a gasket for the carburetor and I did it for years. Take it apart; put it back, I worked quite well now today they're higher Tech cars. They sell them in Europe; they don't sell them in the United States anymore. And GM sold their interest a few years back; they don't own them anymore that's why I used to see those Cadillacs; they called them Cadillacs but they were really re-bedged Opals with a V6 opal engine in them. They were completely made in Germany; they had nothing to do with Cadillac because GM used to own Opals so they sold cars over here under their brand; had nothing to do with American cars.
**Fluctuating Idle**
My '93 Corolla fluctuates Auto from 500 to 1000 down to 900 up and down crazily. And it jerks. Any ideas what it could be? The first thing you want to check when you got fluctuating idle is vacuum leaks on the hood; intake manifold there's all kinds of rubber hoses one goes to the brake booster if you get a vacuum like they go and that makes the engine oil up down up down up down up down. That's the most common thing now in most modern cars fuel injector cars the symptom of that is a vacuum leak and just find one. I used to have a video how to find vacuum leaks using the cigar but then they didn't like it because I talked about a cigar to blow smoke in; I mean our you know woke Society has gone a little crackers there but peanut isn't mad, you can make smoke with a smoke machine and inject that to find where the leaks are too if you want or buy a smoke machine you can get them as cheap as $90 bucks nowadays.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enrev up your engines well GM now is saying oh soon electric cars will cost the same as internal combustion engine now this is GM right well maybe the theory is we'll charge so much more for our internal combustion engines to keep raising the prices of their cars right it'll be the same price as the electric cars eventually right well one everybody knows anything about cars you know it's GM is that quality control problems for the decades the quality is going they're moving a bunch of their production to Mexico where they make things like crap right and now they say oh you buy our electric cars the price will come down on them hey the quality probably will too no and GM but of course this is a Forward Thinking stuff as GM says and I quote the price of electric vehicle batteries will continue to fall in the short median term new compounds advances will be reducing a larger scale and cost less oh yeah batteries are getting more expensive because now people are using all the lithium and all the other materials and the people who make them charge the more because I can't wow they need this had big demand we can yards and more now they got no choice they don't have their own minds they can abide from us it's baloney total baloney always forecasting around the future it'll cost less hey from my experience in the future everything costs more and more and more not less maybe GM is living in such a fantasy world that they think well yes you know our Homer's 140 000 and well the price is coming down on the other electric cars or illegal sign is internal combustion engines blah blah blah this forward-thinking nonsense who knows what's going to happen in the future I doubt if the cost of things are going to come down they're only going to go up inflation Goes On Through History you know back in 1800s you buy a horse for five bucks right yeah try that now and the price isn't coming down to 1800 times anytime soon right total nonsense it comes out of the mouth of these people at GM one I wouldn't buy any electric car I wouldn't buy the gasoline cars I sure as heck wouldn't buy a electric car from a company that failed building their other cars who makes us think they're not going to fail building in another type of Technology this is ridiculous this thing oh hey it'll cost the same I guess their Theory like I said is don't just raise the price of their internal combustion car so much they had a little bit of the same well here we go the government giving people money again now they're talking about giving up to a 40 000 tax credit for businesses that buy electric vehicles who knows what craziness will go on here they're even saying okay if you're a non-profit of course not taxable so it's a different deal so in that case they said don't just give a check to the company that buys this stuff here's the government getting involved in business things that they don't even know that work right electric vehicles throwing the money out there who knows what scams will come out of that now this doesn't have the restrictions of the ones for private cars it's like up to 7 500 tax credit right these doesn't matter where they're made they don't say they have to be made in the United States the one that says Romanian United States it's a bunch of baloneys this is has to be assembled on the United States I think of Billman China just bring them over here and then snap them together there's so much graft and Corruption that goes on when a government has to do with anything and they're going to start this thing January 1st 2020 E3 you buy them before or after that it goes on for 10 years that says the government of course who knows where's this magic money coming from but here they are again promoting something that they don't understand at all whether it's going to work or not but all green sounds so great you know hey let me tell you something watch them Michael Moore movie that he made about the greens it's on YouTube half that stuff is just a fire so what they call Green isn't green at all and now the government's going to be throwing this money out hey we pay tax to the government and they throw it at these crazy things I think it would be better to have people choose themselves then have the government say oh this is good here's some money and of course it's the government listen to this crap the tax break is available to business owners who buy an electric vehicle or electric mobile Machinery what does that mean I think the government needs to stick its nose out of businesses they're just trying to push something that who knows to be worse I talk to guys from around here that have landscaping business right and they're trying to tell me you got to buy all electric when they find out how short Fair period of time these electric batteries last in the machine here where they're doing giant acreage of landscaping it's just not a logical thing to do plus they cost a fortune to buy and nobody knows how long they last they know their gas powered ones last for ages if they take care of them it's electric stuff yeah they're pushing things they don't even understand Dennis Verona says Scotty I got a 2001 Ford Expedition first generation with a 5.2 2 valve with a four-speed at a 70 000 miles an hour are they reliable can they do 300 000 miles yes if you take care of them that is very low mileage and those V8 engines they can run they can run a long time now there's some gas Hogs big Expeditions you gotta expect it's going to be a gas Hawk but those things are really well made take care of it change the oil regularly change the transmission fluid every 40 50 000 miles and Away you go just realize it's old it's 22 years old so don't treat it like a young Stallion and beat the heck out of it because you're going to wear things out it's had an easy life low mileage so far so just baby it a bit you know you want to go 80 on a highway go ahead just don't go zero to 80 as fast as it can take your time when you're doing it lady pilot says Scotty sounds like an old curmudgeon well I wouldn't say I'm an okra you don't know what an old curmudgeon is like I made some old curmudgeons and believe you me I met people that they're grouchy and cranky white hair white beard and stuff and I say how old are you and it turns out that I'm older than they are it's a state of mind and I don't think I'm a curmudgeon now some of the car manufacturers might say so because I say bad things about when they make bad cars I'm telling the truth I'm not a curmudgeon I'm a realist I'm telling you what goes wrong with things why not to buy them now of course any machine is going to break everything breaks eventually but you don't want to back out it breaks all the time it has expensive repairs like engine transmission that's why I make these videos help people out tell them the truth Samsung Galaxy says my ohc X9 Springs are noisy it rides good should I change the struts okay you see it rides good the struts aren't worn out but if they're noisy try this there's a spray out there called at205 resale it's made by a company called ATP automatic transmission products great stuff spray it on the Springs all the rubber bushings on the front end and let it soak don't drive it let it soak overnight I had gotten rid of so many creeks in their car that way now if you find that the noise comes back after a few months just spray it again now of course you want to check for actually worn out parts right you got rubber that's ripped and torn and broken you got to
