The Lamborghini Formula One Car: A Rare Gem in Mr. Miura's Collection

As I stepped into the exclusive car collection at Mr. Miura's estate, I was struck by the sheer diversity and rarity of each vehicle on display. Among the hypercars and supercars, one car caught my eye - the Lamborghini Formula One car, affectionately known as the Team Moderna 1991 F1 car. What was initially unknown to me about this car, it soon became apparent that it was not just any ordinary Formula One car, but a rare gem in Mr. Miura's collection.

The car's design is a testament to its racing heritage, with aerodynamic features such as louvres and air vanes on the front bumper, giving it a distinctive look compared to other Lamborghini models. The fact that there are only two of these cars in existence makes it even more special - one was originally designed as a prototype for the Countach, while the other is a production model. I couldn't help but notice the differences between the two cars, from the louvres on the front bumper to the seat protectors.

Continuing to explore the collection, I came across the Ferrari F430 Challenge car, which stood out due to its slightly different specifications compared to other Ferraris in the room. Next to it was a 456 Spatial, which boasted an impressive array of carbon fiber components and louvres on the front bumper. The car's triple air yellow paintwork added a touch of elegance to its already sleek design.

As I wandered through the collection, my eyes landed on the iconic Lamborghini Countach and Kuntash, as well as the Kuntach 5000 Quattro Valvolet - an upgraded version of the latter with some notable differences. The Jaguar XJR-15, another rare gem in the room, was tucked away in a corner, showcasing its motorsport-inspired design.

To my surprise, I also spotted the Ferrari 512 BB, which seemed to have been carefully preserved and protected for posterity. Other cars on display included the Enzo, La Ferrari, Reventon, and Miura S - each one more breathtaking than the last.

I must say that I was thrilled to discover Mr. Miura's passion for collecting rare and exclusive vehicles. The attention to detail in the presentation of each car was impressive, with a focus on maintaining their original condition and showcasing their unique features.

A Big Thank You

As I prepared to leave the collection, I wanted to express my gratitude to two individuals who made this experience possible. Firstly, I would like to thank Mr. Miura for allowing me to take a closer look at his incredible car collection. His dedication to preserving these rare gems is truly admirable.

I also want to extend my sincerest thanks to Steve's POV, whose introduction to Mr. Miura enabled me to explore this exclusive collection. Steve's enthusiasm and knowledge of Japanese culture were contagious, making the experience even more enjoyable.

A Final Word

As I reflected on my visit to Mr. Miura's car collection, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the diversity and rarity of each vehicle on display. The Lamborghini Formula One car, in particular, stood out as a true gem - a rare and historic piece that was a pleasure to behold.

The entire experience was made all the more special by Mr. Miura's warm hospitality and Steve's insight into Japanese culture. I hope to have shared this wonderful experience with my audience, and I look forward to exploring more exciting car collections in the future.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi guys i'm schmee hello to you and welcome back to the channel where today you join me to check out one of the very best car collections in japan this is mr miura's ultimate man cave downstairs you can see quite an array of hyper cars so let's take a look around some of his very very special machines not just here in the showroom also in his second showroom and in the warehouse some very unique and standout things you can see in the background some of them already but let's head downstairs and take a look this is a private collection outside of tokyo but feast your eyes down on this view of the ground floor from the mezzanine where we have some of the most iconic ferrari models joined also by some pretty special lamborghinis but what i really like is the way that's beneath this top level where you have some seating areas an office in the corner there are some replica ferrari formula one cars over to that side and then you can check out all of these cars from upstairs but let's head down and take a look at the hyper cars and this is just one room we'll head to the supercars afterwards but where do we really begin exploring the lineup in here so many pristine and immaculate cars in the condition they were delivered a couple of them have been driven but many are exactly how they came out of the factory gates first up we have the ferrari 288 gto now this was really the car that kick-started ferrari's line of hyper cars and we're spoiled today because we can take a look at all of the lineage starting with the 288 it spawned the f40 then the f50 then the ferrari enzo and most recently the ferrari laferrari but the 288 in the early 80s was rare it was powerful it was expensive but given the performance and given the limited numbers it's only gone unappreciated since incredibly valuable now especially in this immaculate factory condition still wearing its seat covers its steering wheel cover and finished perfectly as you can imagine most of the cars we're going to take a look at now are absolutely brilliant in terms of their condition totally new they look like they could have rolled out of the gates yesterday from the factory in marinello but the 288 went on to become the f40 in the late 80s now any f40 is of course a rare car there are only just over a thousand of them produced but to see one in yellow is even more rare they were just about all painted in rosso corsa the traditional ferrari red yellow ones i think there can only be a handful in total anywhere so again gated manual twin turbocharged v8 it's an iconic car from its design so radically different from anything of its time now alongside the f40 we also have an f40 lm the racing version of the f40 to see these two together is totally unique you can see some differences as well gone are the pop-up headlights the lm just has the fixed racing lights at the front you can see you can see the extended splitter you can also see that ginormous and aggressive wing adjustable wing with different positions many different positions you can change it to for downforce or track driving you've got the fuel filler cap for racing as opposed to the normal road cap you've got plexiglas windows both cars have the racing style bucket seats but you've also got the fire extinguisher and other things that you need for motorsport now i don't know the exact number of f40 lms but there aren't a whole lot of them so continuing to the corner we have two cars that have been fully restored at the back we have the ferrari 275 gtb again looking like it came out of the gates of marinello yesterday from the full restoration that it's had everything has been perfected in complete detail even the interior with the tan leather just take a look at that the 60s ferrari and then alongside it we have the lamborghini miura s now this was a big thing for lamborghini really and often a claim to be the first ever supercar driven by the likes of frank sinatra just come and have a look inside it's a tiny tiny cabin not suitable for particularly tall people of course being built in italy that was a thing back then but just take a look at this it looks so so special and distinct in its design so many features aggressive design features that haven't really or even to this day this wouldn't look too out of place to be honest so we come from there to the ferrari f50 now what i particularly like about this car is the way that it's presented now i love the f50 i think it's probably one of my absolute favorite cars ever the combination of the naturally aspirated v12 a manual gearbox and a roof panel that can be removed to hear all of that sound but this one is painted in rosso barchetta so the original cars were only really offered in rosso corsa yellow black normal colors this is pretty unique given that it's painted in a completely different color and if you come in close you can actually see the weave of the carbon fiber from the body work through the paint it has a thin layer of paint on the outside of that but it also has different wheels from factory lighter more racing focused wheels but just look at this thing to me it took the f40 it made the line smoother and cleaner and this really was my generation i think of poster car i love the f50 and there are not very many of them about especially not very many in unique colors like this so let's skip past the carzi beside of me for the moment and come down to the two ferrari enzos now why two one has never been driven one has done 8 000 kilometers so this enzo again is painted in rosso barqueta the same color as the f50 but this was the car that wore enzo ferrari's name himself it was an iconic car for ferrari at the time the six liter v12 again though we've got different wheels that's a thing out here and it's a tasteful modification not too much not over the top but this car had the semi-automated gearbox that took a little bit of adjusting and getting used to the silver again pretty rare to have a factory silver enzo these were the original factory wheels not very many painted in unusual colors at all and this one wearing its factory protection packaging inside it's completely and totally new as it was now you might have spotted this quite interesting car behind it here this is a kernig special 512 bb it has 700 horsepower from the turbocharged v12 mr miura has had it in his collection for 30 years the wheels are made from magnesium with titanium center locks and they cost 10 000 pounds or so back when this launched i think there are only three of them in total to have been built but kernig were a tuner back then like we have others now who really did wild out their radical tuning designs look at these exhaust tailpipes hanging out at the back the blast valve exits just behind that inside underneath the bumper that wing that's placed on the back the way it's mounted from the center but these kind of things i think don't really exist like that any more at all so spinning background the two cars we haven't talked about we have the lamborghini reventon but let's come to the laferrari first the latest in that ferrari lineage you're probably familiar with it as their first hybrid hypercar from ferrari it mated the 6.3 liter v12 with a kurz system for a total of 963 horsepower which is an absolutely absurd number and to be honest when you're thinking about the performance of what this car could do you can only imagine what the future is going to be like it's about to get even crazier it has this active rear wing which tucks back in but basically this panel slides out and comes up to act as an air brake and variate angle for different levels of downforce depending how it's being driven but the car is sleek the seats are bolted into the carbon fiber tub the mirrors hang out on insect-like arms we've got on this car satin carbon fiber for all the roof sections which was a pretty rare option in fact i think only maybe 50 of the 500 actually even had that to start with so again a rare la ferrari and then alongside that we have one of the rarest lamborghinis the lamborghini revinton coupe so the reventon was introduced as the first of lamborghini's one-offs it's gone on now to create other models like the veneno and the centenario but there were 20 coupes and then they made 15 roadsters so not a whole lot of them and this one well they were all painted in this satin gray menacing to go with the looks to go with the styling the carbon fiber of the wheels that you could only get on this car you couldn't get those wheels from lamborghini any other way the design at the front based well similar to the murcielago on which it was based but with much more aggression the shapes all inspired by fighter jet kind of designs as you can tell just from the aggression and everything that it's about again back here six and a half liter v12 naturally aspirated and if we open it up i think it will beep just because it's on a trickle charger for the moment again inside completely immaculate factory fresh as it came from lamborghini so what a room this is with all of these cars but these are just the hyper cars let's head on through and take a look at some of the supercars in the collection too welcome in here then where again we have many special editions and rare versions of the cars that are in front of us starting right with these two at the front so on the right we have the lamborghini gallardo squadron corsa now throughout the lifetime of the lambo gallardo they made tons of different variations but the squadron corsa was the very final one and they only made 50 of them in total to be honest outside of motor shows not sure i've ever actually seen one the main differences are having the race car wing and also the race car rear deck with the quick release latches but it was based on the 570 horsepower superleggera just the facelifted version to finally conclude the lifespan of that model before the hurricane launched now alongside that we have a nissan gt-r but again not just any gtr this is the nismo n attack package so you can already get the nismo gtr but this version is with the full upgrades that were available for the car that raced and set a lap time at the nordschleife so it has new bodywork for example with this part here to direct air around the door mirror it has a larger and more aggressive rear wing and you can see right here nismo n attack package with the lap time of seven minutes eight seconds point six seven nine so that's quite a rare and hard to get hold of thing quite an exclusive car then in front of that we have the ferrari 599 gto only 599 built again a naturally aspirated v12 making a tremendous sound with the f1 gearbox 660 horsepower or so rare special a car i only drove for the first time quite recently and absolutely loved it then alongside that we have lamborghini's v12 sibling from a similar period this was the first generation of the lamborghini lp 700-4 aventador the design well it was pretty radical right it had to be to con to carry on from murcielago before it the aventador well it speaks for itself if we continue back we have a ferrari tester rossa next to a ferrari 512 tr now i've regularly found it quite hard to actually tell the difference between these two so for me it is great to see the differences in the lights and the lower bumper at the front to work out how they actually differ but also with their seat protectors all brand new continuing back we've got an f430 challenge car i believe a race car different perhaps to some of the others in here and then alongside that is a four five eight spatial a completely loaded up specification on this car all of the carbon fiber parts that you have here the louvres these lower vanes as well at the side of the front bumper the door mirrors and arms the badges top top spec on the giallo tristrato triple air yellow paintwork and then behind we have some fairly interesting cars so firstly the two countaches here iconic wedge shape of the lamborghini cuntash this is the normal or the regular production model of the car that is a prototype of the contact so that is what it was originally designed as not a production model of the car at all so it has these louvres that i guess maybe open up or are hidden away there it's quite similar in terms of shape but things about it that are different from the production spec and then here we have the kuntach 5000 quattro valvolet so an upgraded version that came slightly later on in the corner beside those is a jaguar xjr15 now that came out before the xj220 there are literally not very many of them is it 10 is it 15 it's something like that a handful out and about so cool to be able to see it but clearly designed very much motorsport ethos high speed that kind of styling and then tucked in the corner over there is a 512 bb but lots of these all like i said totally totally pristine brand new and preserved and kept for the future a very very special collection and we've only seen so far the hyper cars and now this supercar room so there is actually more for us to go and check out as well if this wasn't already enough it's a big thanks to mr miura because being able to see all of this is really really special and to wrap things up this was what was often called the lamborghini formula one car the team moderna 1991 f1 car there are only two it took part in 16 races this was car number one car number two is with lamborghini themselves but a proper formula one car and a particularly rare formula one car as well at that to vote very very nice to see i had no idea that even existed to be honest i wasn't even too aware of lamborghini racing in formula one but their ties to the manufacturer or to the modern team of course lamborghini name worn at the side makes it really quite special maybe one day we'll see them back doing that kind of thing again and then next to that is a very very nice espada undercover just keeping protected here in a another garage i'd also like to say a quick thank you to this man steve's pov you're very welcome my friend thank you very much steve runs a channel in japanese but introduced me to mr miura made it possible to come down today i hope you enjoyed your time here oh yes absolutely awesome time thank you very much you're very welcome nice to meet you man and there we have it then what a special collection to take a look around the hyper cars from the three rosso barqueta cars the f50 the enzo and the la ferrari to some of the lamborghinis the reventon the miura s what an amazing collection what a beautiful way to present it in that modern clean tidy environment in fact that's what so much of japan has been like for me during this visit such a lovely welcoming hospitable country and i've really enjoyed it we went out for lunch as well and experienced some of the local cuisine which was a bit far out for me perhaps but nonetheless still an experience to be out here so i hope you've enjoyed the video a big thanks to mr miura for the opportunity to take a look around and also to steve's pov for introducing me to so many people out here so thank you very much as always for watching guys i appreciate your support that's it for this time though i'll catch up with you again very soon cheers youhi guys i'm schmee hello to you and welcome back to the channel where today you join me to check out one of the very best car collections in japan this is mr miura's ultimate man
