**The Ultimate Gaming Display and a Revolutionary Physical Keyboard for iPhone**

CES has been good this year because there's been a lot of tech and a lot of mature tech. Stuff like OLED is everywhere, transparent OLED, but on top of that, there's a good variety of actually practical, real AI demos.

As I was walking around the convention floor, I stumbled upon some amazing products that really caught my attention. One of them was the latest gaming display from ASUS. This thing is a beast! It has an OLED panel with crystal-clear images and incredibly bright colors. The refresh rate is insanely high, making it perfect for gamers who want a smooth and seamless experience.

But what's even more impressive is its motion stability. When I saw this display in action, I was blown away by its fluidity. It's like having a liquid crystal screen that moves with the images, creating an incredibly immersive experience. I also noticed that it has some amazing features like adjustable refresh rates and G-Sync technology.

Another product that caught my eye was the ROG Phone 8 from ASUS. This phone is a big step forward for the ROG series, and I'm excited to spend some time with it. The design has been slimmed down significantly while still keeping the huge battery and great cooling system. It's clear that ASUS has taken feedback from users into consideration.

But what really surprised me was the announcement of Clicks, a full QWERTY keyboard designed for iPhone. Co-founded by my friend Michael Fisher, this product is a game-changer for those who miss the tactile experience of typing on a physical keyboard. The design is sleek and compact, with 36 keys that are made from polycarbonate. I have to admit that I've been out of touch with physical keyboards for years, but this one has convinced me that it's time to give them another try.

The story behind Clicks is fascinating. Michael explained that he was inspired by the idea of throwing away keyboard buttons when smartphones became popular. He realized that people missed the utility and satisfaction of typing on a physical keyboard, and so he set out to create something that would bring back those feelings.

What I love about Clicks is its seamless integration with the iPhone. It's not just a backlit keyboard; it also has MagSafe pass-through, which means you don't need an extra battery. The major advantage of this product is the tactile feedback it provides, making typing on glass feel like typing on paper. And let me tell you, I'm already missing my old physical keyboard!

Clicks is currently available only for iPhone 14 Pro, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max, but Michael assured us that this will not be the only phone compatible with the product. He also mentioned that they're planning to expand their product line in the future, which I'm excited about.

Overall, my experience at CES has been incredible. From cutting-edge gaming displays to revolutionary physical keyboards, there's something for everyone here. If you're as passionate about tech as I am, make sure to check out some of these amazing products and see what they have to offer.

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: en- Welcome to CES 2024.Let's find some cool stuff.(upbeat music)First up, we have this, the Omen Transcend 14.I do wanna give a shoutout to the Omen teamfor sponsoring this video. So what really drew me tothis laptop is the factthat it is thin andlight while still havingsome real gaming performance. We're talking about alaptop that weighs 1.6 kilosand comes in at 17.9 millimeters thin, which is very impressiveconsidering that it's outfittedwith some proper specs, including up to an RTX 4070and an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H.So there are a few things that are goingfor this Omen, one of which isactually the port selection. It actually uses 140-wattUSB-C charger, and that's it.So you don't have to deal witha giant bulky power brick, and on top of that, you also have, what I would say is agood input experience. This keyboard is really, really unique.(keys clacking)So the keyboard feel isgood, but I love the RGB.The fact that you've gotthe pudding-style key caps,I think, adds a lot to theaesthetic of this laptop. Now, it does come in a couple of colors. You can get it in bothwhite as well as black.I'm partial to the white colorwaybecause I think to me thisreally sort of stands out. That combined with the display meansthat you're getting agood gaming experience. So it is a 2.8K panel. You got up to 120 hertz refreshrate, and it is an OLED.I'm so happy. (claps)2024 really does feellike the year of OLED.So we're seeing 'em on laptop, seeing on gaming displays, and at this point it'salmost like if you don't havean OLED, what are you doing? This laptop is also going to be availablewith the Cloud III headset bundle. So the neat part about thisis that it actually hasthe dongle for the headset built in,and this is actually a software updatethat's gonna be coming to allof the Cloud III headsets later this year. Now, it's a goodcombination because this isa very portable, easy to use gaming setup. There's a lot going for this Omen.I gotta say.So if you're interested, make sureto subscribe to the channel(bell chiming)and stay tuned because I'll be takinga much closer look atthis a little bit lateron once I get myself a full retail sample. So this will be going on sale. You actually can do pre-orders now,and I'll have a link inthe description for that. This will be going onsale a little bit laterin January, early February, and again, it starts at 1,499,but as far as a thinand light gaming laptopthat is a very much a good daily driver, this Omen Transcend 14looks very, very impressive.Last year at CES, I was ableto take a look at LG's transparent OLED.This time around, not onlydoes the tech improve, but they've also gotit ready to go on sale.It is very loud in here. They have an entire displayfull of the OLED TVs.The way this works isthat not only do you havethe transparent OLED, butwhen you're ready to watch TVor something, there's a screenthat rolls around the back, which gives you pretty muchthe exact same experienceas a traditional OLED,but when you wanna seethrough it, that can roll up,and it is entirely transparent. The main thing I notice here isthat it seems like it'sa much more refined version of the tech.Last year it was really neat, but it felt more like a tech demo. This, essentially, short of the price, feels like there's no real downside to it.I mean, that just lookslike a regular OLED,but look how great it lookswith the transparency as well. This is incredibly cool, the level of fidelitythat you're able to get here.I'm surprised by how brightit is, and here we go.So this is the actual screen rolling up.So there you go.So now with the actual screenrolled up in the background, essentially you've got no downsidecompared to a traditional OLED.It is really cool, and just staring rightin front of it, very clean.(air whooshing)There's a lot of stuff here atthe ASUS booth, like always, but a couple of highlightsinclude this, the AirVision M1.So I got to spend some time with it,and you've probably seen some items suchas like the XREAL and whatnot. They're essentially displaysthat go on your eyes.So it does AR, butreally it's meant more soas like a personal display that you can,you know, sort of wear in a glasses form. What's cool about this one is it runsa full thousand nits, and that plus the 1080Presolution means that,in my opinion, it'sactually pretty usable. My problem with some of the other optionsthat are out there isjust, they're too dimto be all that practical, but talk about bright.Come with me.So someone's standing infront of it right now.I found the coolest monitor at all of CES,the ROG Swift OLED.This is a 27-inch, 1440P OLEDthat has not only 1,300 nitsof brightness, but 480 hertz. That's right, 480 frames per second,is 450 frames per secondmore than I usually can see.Wait, what?- What? No. That, what?What?- Yeah, I have 30 hertz eyes. That's what I said.I'm just gonna go with it.So obviously in a YouTube videoyou can't see the difference here, but they've got the screen test going,We've got 60, 120, 240.240 looks great, but the thing with the 480 hertz, because obviously you have to keep in mindthat running a game at that kindof frame rate is very difficult, but at that kind of level, notonly do you get the fluidity, but you get the motion stability, right? So like as I look at the, like, crispness of the imagesas they fly by, it iscrystal, crystal clear, and it's also incredibly bright. So this will be going onsale for a little bit. It's going to be expensive,as you would expect, but talk about like theultimate gaming display,OLED, bright, insanely high refresh rate.I saw this, and I just tunnelvision, man, tunnel vision. There's also the ROG Phone 8.So this is a big stepforward for the ROG Phone, mostly because it no longerlooks like a gaming behemoth. So they've slimmed andtrimmed it down significantlywhile still keeping the hugebattery and the great cooling, and I'm excited to actuallyspend some time with itbecause between the ROGPhone and the Zenfone,Asus are getting some stuff going, there were some rumors notthat long ago they were maybe killingoff the Zenfone entirely, but instead,we're seeing is some ofthe best phones they've madein a long time.(air whooshing)This is Clicks. It is a physical keyboard for the iPhone,co-founded by my good buddy, Mr. Mobile,AKA. Michael Fisher. You've actually got a product.- I do.- You stopped makingvideos for five minutesand actually made something.- For five minutes.I'll be back to making videos tomorrow, don't worry.(Austin laughing)- But today I have a product. It's called Clicks. It is a full QWERTY keyboard. There's 36 keys, polycarbonate rowof these on a liquid silicone case.- Can I just say that the yellowwas absolutely the right call?- Thank you.- Where did this idea come from?Because I'll be honest.I haven't used a physical keyboardon a phone in a long time.- A number of years.- (laughs) It's been a little bit. It's been a little bit.Where did you even come up with this idea?- Here's the thing. We had to throw away keysfor the smartphone toevolve, 17 years ago.Like, Steve Jobs was right, right? We're not trying to turn back the clockbecause everyone loves their phone. It's great. The thing is, when we threwaway all of the buttons,we threw away a lot ofutility that comes with them, but it is a much moredifferent, much more satisfying,I will say, to be a little pretentious, much more human experience.- Yeah.- To type on physical keysthan it is to tap on glass.- So you've got yourselfnot only a backlit keyboard, but on top of that, itintegrates seamlessly. So there's no need for an extra battery. You still have MagSafe pass-through,but the major advantage isgiving you that tactile feedbackand getting back the screen real estate.- Not gonna be for everybody. The people who miss it willdefinitely appreciate this, and the people who'venever tried it, I hope, some of them realizewhat I'm talking about.- So right nowit's only for iPhone, right?- Correct, only for iPhone 14Pro, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max,but it is not gonna stop there. We didn't just build a product. We built a company. So this will be the first of many.- I would loveto see the Z Flipversion of this. (laughs)- I would as well.I'm not allowed to talk.Don't make me do, because there's a lotof cool ideas I want to do.- Gotta say, man, thisis the kind of stuffthat I love at CES, thestuff that you don't expect. It's not always a bigshiny laptop or something.Sometimes these smaller, neater, cooler thingsare what really leavesa lasting impression.Good job, man.- Thank you, buddy.- Thank you for taking the time.- You're in my best at CES video now.- (gasps) Thank you.(Austin laughing)(Michael laughing)(air whooshing)- CES has been good this yearbecause there's been a lot of techand a lot of mature tech.Stuff like OLED iseverywhere, transparent OLED,but on top of that, there's a good varietyof actually practical, real AI demos. If you wanna see more,on top of the videosthat we've already done, which I'll have linked, but we also have a Denkivideo, which Ken has made, and oh, This Is videothat Matt and I made.So much to watch, so much to see.Thank you very much forwatching this video, though.(bell chiming)Subscribe to the channel.I am gonna take a nap, finally.
