The Art of DIY: A Journey with Lady Kelsey and Lady Becky

Lady Kelsey's excitement grew as she began to create her latest DIY project, a moss mirror that would add a touch of fantasy vintage vibe to any room. She started by carefully placing the white moss, also known as grey reindeer lykan, onto the pillow looking fluff balls that she had bought, admiring its softness and texture. As she continued to place more moss, her excitement grew, and she felt a sense of accomplishment with each new addition.

As she worked on the mirror, Lady Kelsey's attention turned to the glue gun, which still needed to heat up a little bit more. She chuckled to herself as she thought about how much she loved this stuff and how it brought out her creative side. With her satin gloves in hand, she carefully applied the glue to each piece of moss, taking her time to ensure that everything was perfectly in place.

The process was not without its challenges, however. Lady Kelsey had to navigate the screen with her chin, using her phone's camera feature to take selfies and capture the moment. She also had to deal with the fact that one of the glue guns had a little stick in it, which made it harder to control the amount of glue being applied.

Despite these obstacles, Lady Kelsey persevered, determined to create a beautiful piece of art that would bring joy to those who saw it. As she worked, she thought about how much she loved this project and how happy she was to be doing something creative. She felt like a kid in a candy store, excitedly exploring the possibilities of her DIY project.

As the mirror began to take shape, Lady Kelsey's excitement grew even more. She couldn't wait to see it finished and admire its beauty. With each passing minute, she felt a sense of pride and accomplishment, knowing that she had created something truly special.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the moss mirror was complete. Lady Kelsey stepped back to admire her handiwork, beaming with pride at the beautiful piece of art that now adorned the wall. She knew that this project would bring a touch of magic to any room, and she couldn't wait to share it with others.

The next day, Lady Kelsey packed up her tools and headed out to meet her friend Danielle, who had commissioned the moss mirror for her own home. As they arrived at Danielle's house, Lady Kelsey was excited to see how her friend would react to the finished piece. When Danielle saw the mirror, she was thrilled with its beauty and couldn't stop raving about it.

In a surprise twist, Danielle revealed that she had also been working on a matching table, which she had named "The Sorry Maidens Table." Lady Kelsey was amazed by the coincidence and couldn't wait to see the finished product. As they worked together, Lady Becky joined in, and the three of them created a beautiful piece that would be the centerpiece of Danielle's living room.

The finishing touches were added, including a black paint finish on one side of the table and a matching keyboard. As they stepped back to admire their handiwork, Lady Kelsey and her friends couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment at having created something truly special together.

In the end, the moss mirror and The Sorry Maidens Table proved that with a little creativity and patience, even the most ambitious DIY projects can become a reality. And for Lady Kelsey and her friends, it was just the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their lives as DIY enthusiasts and creatives.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: eni'm gonna be tackling two tick tock diys wow i can't believe it took me this long to start doing pocket holes craig jig should we use the lighter stuff my boards are warped and that sucks a lot what's up guys my name is kelsey welcome back to the story girls we have a very exciting video for you today because i'm going to be trying to recreate some viral tik tok diys so we have a couple today one is a moss mirror and the other is the tile table which i'm sure you guys have all seen all over all over the internet literally every part of the internet so from what i can tell the tile table starting with the child table was kind of first seen way back in the 70s by super studio they looked kind of like this and then the copenhagen duo icon copenhagen sisters they um sell their tables which i think is the reason why it's popular again now whenever you guys can support the artists the original artists of any of these diys please make sure that you do give them a follow support them any way that you can but this is a trying tick tock video so looking at the tick tocks by diy baby girl she made the tile table and she did it in pink but i'm not going to be making the tile in pink i'm going to be doing it in black and white like clemence herct did here don't know if i'm pronouncing that right but i am so excited to jump into this so i'm going to be making this table for daniella she actually wants a table for her keyboard and i love making diys for other people it makes me try extra hard and i feel extra accomplished at the end of it all because i made it for somebody else so daniella one keyboard tile table coming up and let's go shopping for some supplies yesterday i was actually in the office and i went through what we already had to see if we had supplies spoiler we didn't really and i also tried to figure out the design and how i'm gonna do everything especially this table so since it's locked out i had to order basically everything online i was going online to michael's for the moss we had some moss but i think we need a little bit more and then i realized that if you shop on the michael's app on your phone you can apply a coupon and then i was placing a home depot order which was giving me some trouble so it turned into a lowe's order and then also i'm going to be heading to get some tile from decotile honestly the team at decotile always has what we need and the prices are good and it's quick it's easy no stress so um i'd recommend deco chill if you guys in toronto and you need some tile please release the particles thank you for calling lowe's home improvement please note that our menu options have changed hey there i was just looking to pick up my order um i have someone to bring it up for you okay thank you oh my god my orders here hit i also bought a new tool today guys i don't know if it's called a tool is it a tool anyways we're gonna be trying a new tool today i'm so excited on that note um you guys should actually subscribe if you haven't already because we have a series coming up that is so highly requested we've been wanting to do it for years you guys have been wanting us to do it for years maybe you guys can guess what it is but as soon as we're all back in office we're going to make moves and start filming it and i'm so excited okay let's go to the office okay so i have every it's so echoey hello hello so i have everything i need for these diys so i hope and i'm gonna get started with daniella's piano keyboard keyboard table console thing all right let's just dive in so since daniella's bench actually needs to be a weird depth i'm going to be craig jigging or pocket holding two of these boards together if you're not super picky about the size of your table you can just use one board that's the right width it actually works out that a piece of two inch um thick board is actually more like one and a half because our two inch tiles um do overlap but then it works out when you line up the top tile because that makes up the difference okay new tool alert this is a kreg jig that allows us to make perfect angled holes to really secure wood pieces together all we need to do is set it to the thickness of our wood 1.5 inches and then set the stopper on the bit to also the thickness of the wood 1.5 inches clamp that jig to your wood and drill away pocket hole status achieved rinse and repeat my dudes i'm spacing these pocket holes out so that they won't get in the way where i want to be cutting the board later next we're going to wood glue before we start screwing okay now we get to screwing so we have the extra long drill bit that the little kit came with and you have to buy screws based on the depth of your material okay and then we just that pulled the pieces together so that's good wow i can't believe it took me this long to start doing pocket holes craig jig this is just a way sturdier way to screw things together my boards are warped and that sucks a lot so i have my two boards glued um jigged together and i marked out exactly the width of seven of my two inch tiles which aren't really two inches because of the gaps in between you know so it means that i have to cut off a very small amount which is not ideal but what i did do was mark out my line and then i also just screwed this scrap piece of wood to my board since i'm covering the whole thing entirely i don't care about the screw marks and i just thought this would be an easy way to get a nice straight line with my circle saw clamp to the table now let's cut these screws are not down enough honestly some woods smell good most would smell good i would say this one smells like cat pee gross okay i'm gonna take off my little guide here then we're gonna cut the three sides the three surfaces so out of this long board i'm cutting essentially three pieces my two legs and my top just this is probably honestly the hardest part is figuring out what exact size to cut everything so that the tiles you don't have like extra space i believe this is the hardest part i hope this is the hardest part so i'm gonna figure out some math and i'll let you guys know where i land okay so these are the sizes that i ended up cutting out for my short table here now this table is going to be quite short daniella is a small and she didn't want a very tall table for her keyboard which is cool so obviously your sizes will vary but you can use this idea in order to make something that's custom sized for you if that's what you're doing so what i figured out is that the top of my table needs to be the exact size of my tiles and super flush so for the sides i did the exact size of the desired tiles plus half an inch to compensate for the tile that's going to be attached to the edge of the top piece head to our blog if you are still confused then i cut all my pieces i now have all my pieces and now what i'm going to do is use my kreg jig again in order to attach these now i'm sure some of you are wondering if you need to use a kreg jig like what if you don't have one so i'm actually going to do one leg with just like screws coming down from the top and wood gluing that together and i'm going to wood glue and kreg jig the other one together and we can see like how sturdy each leg is a little experiment what's the best way to do this oh my god that was so loud um okay so this is where you could use 90 degree clamps which i have if you don't have them the problem is you just have to like hold it while you drill which isn't the end of the world i'm gonna try i'll try that i'll try just holding while i drill i'm going to make sure that i have some wood glue on there i'll come on your side with the table this is our table top i'm just gonna make sure there's wood glue top of my leg goes on here i want to make sure everything's lined up okay ready let's get in formation so i'm drilling large holes about three quarters of an inch deep so that i can countersink my three inch screws of course using wood glue and screwing together using pocket holes is ideal because then we can go into the face grain instead of going into the end grain which is a weaker spot to secure so this is the side that's screwed i mean it's a little wobbly for sure this is the side of the craigslist also a little wobbly i would say that the screw side is slightly more wobbly but i do think especially for the height of this table that if you didn't have a kreg jig you don't have to stress too much i think that you could just do some really long like three inch screws countersink them a little bit with some wood glue i think you'd be okay i think you'd be okay honestly that's my whole table moving that's this table moving great dania i'm going hard for you okay this is for you baby okay oh my god i can actually take these off now because i think i'm done cutting everything i need to cut sick good work team that's me i'm the team member oh my god tile is so heavy you need to remember that when you're building this table that like it's gonna be heavy afterwards i'll see if i can remember to bring in my scale and we can weigh it uh so we're just gonna get started tiling we have a couple videos where we try tiling this is personally my second time but i'm confident this will be pretty easy so tile adhesive goes on here and then we plop in our on our tiles i won't really need spacers that often but i do have them somewhere okay i'm done pretty much all of the tiling if you guys are not a fan of being like doing precise work i would suggest you skip this project i feel like i keep looking and checking to make sure everything's in line and um i feel like i could be here forever just like making sure everything's perfect i also filmed a tick tock while i finished this if you guys are already following us on tik tok we do have a tech talk so um feel free to go follow oh my god my hands are like the tick tock was kind of about this anyways go check it out i'm feeling really good about it i think it looks sick daniella oh my god girl let's tile the inside good morning guys back in the office and um everything is still one piece which i'm really excited by but i do need a couple supplies that i ordered um that aren't quite ready for pickup yet so i thought while we wait for those before we get to grouting let's shift focus and focus on the mirror i'm really excited to get started so let's try the moss mirror so i have all my moss here i'm hoping to not open up all these packages because they're like nine dollars a piece and i don't think i need that much moss but i wanted the selection and i can always return some stuff i just found in our cupboard and then of course our mirror which we got off of facebook marketplace it's vintage it's cute i think it'll be perfect for this diy kind of reminds me of bridgerton something that would live in bridgerton world am i the only one watching bridgeton am i the only one that's watching production twice no just me okay well let's get started on the ci so for this diy we saw it on tick tock by carolyn winner she made this moss mirror it's pretty simple but it has a pretty wow effect so let's just jump in the first thing i'm going to do is clean off the mirror because it's quite dusty so we're going to just give it a little wipe down i've been sitting down while i did that cool i don't know why i'm standing up as lady kelsey began to film she was annoyed that none of her maids and maidens were there to help her with the filming setup this is so annoying yeah eat okay shiny mirror looking freaking dope words so i think the next step is to just rough in where we want the moss to go this is gonna be the fun part and the creative part lady kelsey carefully collected her moss pieces and placed them in the opposite corners of the mirror different variations of moss will indeed give the design more dimension she started with scraggly moss as a base i don't think i'm gonna cover it as much as the tick tocker did i kind of like the idea of having like open sides and like there's so many different types of moss like this is so dry and like stringy and then this is like bushy but crispy but then these ones literally could be made out of a pillow and this one's somewhere in between this one's just ugly we're not gonna use that lady kelsey began to question her purchases should we use the lighter stuff i believe that was a no lady kelsey continued to add moss to the mirror she didn't let her shopping choices get in the way of her diy she thought ain't nobody got time for that to still work as a mirror this kind of looks like something else that weed after working endlessly on the tile table she enjoyed this slow-paced diy and took her time with it lady kelsey thought to herself this is fun the mirror was coming together with a lovely blend of various saturated moss excited with her design lady kelsey knew there was something missing she went with her gut and added in the pillow looking fluff balls that she bought it's so soft it doesn't smell good though oh yeah i think that's a vibe that's a vibe super vibey indeed her excitement grew after every new placement of the white moss also known as grey reindeer lykan as a lady kelsey's excitement grew she felt she needed to settle down a bit as she was getting too hyped ew why do i love this stuff so much i mean i mean pretty good lady kelsey was impressed with herself so impressed that she forgot that the glue gun still needed to heat up needs to heat up a little bit more i shall gaze out the window i shall gaze onto the terrace it was quite an early day for lady kelsey she was already thinking about what to have for lunch that bowl of oatmeal was not as filling as she expected it to be lady kelsey's attention darted straight to her phone thinking that maybe she could get a quick tick-tock break to pass the time oh no one's fingers won't work with the technology and the setting gloves hey siri open camera hey siri open camera oh my god that works video oh my god that worked too lady kelsey took some selfies with her spare time thus continuing to explore the endless possibilities of navigating the screen with her chin what a time to be alive are you ready come on you okay also this is literally all the glue that we own i think i have one other glue gun that has a little stick in it so hopefully this is enough i think it will be oh it's coming okay now we glue carefully with our satin gloves and in that moment she thought the things i do for a youtube video literally cleaning off the mirror was not necessary at all good thing is moss really doesn't need a lot to stick that's for sure lady kelsey took her time in gluing each piece with delicacy and care but also try to avoid gluing her gloves to the mirror oh that helped oh no no no no she began with the base layers of moss and then adhered the top layer of moss to the layer below oh okay there we have it our moss mirror honestly this is probably one of the quickest diys that looks the most legit so super happy with this i would encourage you to do it if you know this fantasy vintage vibe is your thing a marvelous piece indeed so impressive in fact one might consider now subscribing to this youtube video channel all right shall we get back to our tile table before we get started grouting i'm going to add a piece of tamper that we had left over in the office so that these tiles on the edge aren't hanging off and so that there will be somewhere for the grout to sit up against i'm also adding adjustable feet so this table can be leveled if either i didn't do my job or danielle's floor is a little wack i'm mixing up my black grout making it a peanut butter like texture and then we're going to use a float to get this into all of the grout lines okay so after a lot of wiping down it's finally done i'm very happy with it difficulty i mean it takes a little bit of time that's for sure you gotta give yourself like a full weekend to do this but i did bring my scale if we want to see how heavy it is i feel like it's not as bad as i thought oh my god oh my god okay um after some mental math not mental math this is 69 pounds of table okay i'm just gonna slap some black paint on the other side of the table and then we're gonna head to danielle's to see what she thinks hi welcome hi don't look look down okay and then walk forward oh no okay can you step down yeah okay okay ready yeah okay oh my god it's so cool it's so cool it's so cool i know when it was in the office i was like dave it looks good hey matt just made a mask oh that's so cool thank you kelsey it also will match your keyboard assuming you have a regular black and white black okay cool okay let's do this oh my god is it heavy um it's 69 pounds we weighed it okay okay okay i know the keyboard was the original intention but daniella also tried styling this with a mirror and oh my god a whole damn mood i'm sure that we all feel like we need one of these tables after seeing these photos thank you daniela for letting me make you a table thank you guys for tuning in to today's episode and we will see you in the next one bye lady kelsey and lady becky's youtube channel the sorry maidens is a constant inspiration for design diy and decor if you enjoyed this video do consider subscribing and delicately ring the notification bell to be informed of future video uploadsi'm gonna be tackling two tick tock diys wow i can't believe it took me this long to start doing pocket kelsey took some selfies with her spare time thus continuing to explore the endless possibilities of navigating the screen with her chin what a time to be alive are you ready come on you okay also this is literally all the glue that we own i think i have one other glue gun that has a little stick in it so hopefully this is enough i think it will be oh it's coming okay now we glue carefully with our satin gloves and in that moment she thought the things i do for a youtube video literally cleaning off the mirror was not necessary at all good thing is moss really doesn't need a lot to stick that's for sure lady kelsey took her time in gluing each piece with delicacy and care but also try to avoid gluing her gloves to the mirror oh that helped oh no no no no she began with the base layers of moss and then adhered the top layer of moss to the layer below oh okay there we have it our moss mirror honestly this is probably one of the quickest diys that looks the most legit so super happy with this i would encourage you to do it if you know this fantasy vintage vibe is your thing a marvelous piece indeed so impressive in fact one might consider now subscribing to this youtube video channel all right shall we get back to our tile table before we get started grouting i'm going to add a piece of tamper that we had left over in the office so that these tiles on the edge aren't hanging off and so that there will be somewhere for the grout to sit up against i'm also adding adjustable feet so this table can be leveled if either i didn't do my job or danielle's floor is a little wack i'm mixing up my black grout making it a peanut butter like texture and then we're going to use a float to get this into all of the grout lines okay so after a lot of wiping down it's finally done i'm very happy with it difficulty i mean it takes a little bit of time that's for sure you gotta give yourself like a full weekend to do this but i did bring my scale if we want to see how heavy it is i feel like it's not as bad as i thought oh my god oh my god okay um after some mental math not mental math this is 69 pounds of table okay i'm just gonna slap some black paint on the other side of the table and then we're gonna head to danielle's to see what she thinks hi welcome hi don't look look down okay and then walk forward oh no okay can you step down yeah okay okay ready yeah okay oh my god it's so cool it's so cool it's so cool i know when it was in the office i was like dave it looks good hey matt just made a mask oh that's so cool thank you kelsey it also will match your keyboard assuming you have a regular black and white black okay cool okay let's do this oh my god is it heavy um it's 69 pounds we weighed it okay okay okay i know the keyboard was the original intention but daniella also tried styling this with a mirror and oh my god a whole damn mood i'm sure that we all feel like we need one of these tables after seeing these photos thank you daniela for letting me make you a table thank you guys for tuning in to today's episode and we will see you in the next one bye lady kelsey and lady becky's youtube channel the sorry maidens is a constant inspiration for design diy and decor if you enjoyed this video do consider subscribing and delicately ring the notification bell to be informed of future video uploadsi'm gonna be tackling two tick tock diys wow i can't believe it took me this long to start doing pocket holes craig jig should we use the lighter stuff my boards are warped and that sucks a lot what's up guys my name is kelsey welcome back to the story girls we have a very exciting video for you today because i'm going to be trying to recreate some viral tik tok diys so we have a couple today one is a moss mirror and the other is the tile table which i'm sure you guys have all seen all over all over the internet literally every part of the internet so from what i can tell the tile table starting with the child table was kind of first seen way back in the 70s by super studio they looked kind of like this and then the copenhagen duo icon copenhagen sisters they um sell their tables which i think is the reason why it's popular again now whenever you guys can support the artists the original artists of any of these diys please make sure that you do give them a follow support them any way that you can but this is a trying tick tock video so looking at the tick tocks by diy baby girl she made the tile table and she did it in pink but i'm not going to be making the tile in pink i'm going to be doing it in black and white like clemence herct did here don't know if i'm pronouncing that right but i am so excited to jump into this so i'm going to be making this table for daniella she actually wants a table for her keyboard and i love making diys for other people it makes me try extra hard and i feel extra accomplished at the end of it all because i made it for somebody else so daniella one keyboard tile table coming up and let's go shopping for some supplies yesterday i was actually in the office and i went through what we already had to see if we had supplies spoiler we didn't really and i also tried to figure out the design and how i'm gonna do everything especially this table so since it's locked out i had to order basically everything online i was going online to michael's for the moss we had some moss but i think we need a little bit more and then i realized that if you shop on the michael's app on your phone you can apply a coupon and then i was placing a home depot order which was giving me some trouble so it turned into a lowe's order and then also i'm going to be heading to get some tile from decotile honestly the team at decotile always has what we need and the prices are good and it's quick it's easy no stress so um i'd recommend deco chill if you guys in toronto and you need some tile please release the particles thank you for calling lowe's home improvement please note that our menu options have changed hey there i was just looking to pick up my order um i have someone to bring it up for you okay thank you oh my god my orders here hit i also bought a new tool today guys i don't know if it's called a tool is it a tool anyways we're gonna be trying a new tool today i'm so excited on that note um you guys should actually subscribe if you haven't already because we have a series coming up that is so highly requested we've been wanting to do it for years you guys have been wanting us to do it for years maybe you guys can guess what it is but as soon as we're all back in office we're going to make moves and start filming it and i'm so excited okay let's go to the office okay so i have every it's so echoey hello hello so i have everything i need for these diys so i hope and i'm gonna get started with daniella's piano keyboard keyboard table console thing all right let's just dive in so since daniella's bench actually needs to be a weird depth i'm going to be craig jigging or pocket holding two of these boards together if you're not super picky about the size of your table you can just use one board that's the right width it actually works out that a piece of two inch um thick board is actually more like one and a half because our two inch tiles um do overlap but then it works out when you line up the top tile because that makes up the difference okay new tool alert this is a kreg jig that allows us to make perfect angled holes to really secure wood pieces together all we need to do is set it to the thickness of our wood 1.5 inches and then set the stopper on the bit to also the thickness of the wood 1.5 inches clamp that jig to your wood and drill away pocket hole status achieved rinse and repeat my dudes i'm spacing these pocket holes out so that they won't get in the way where i want to be cutting the board later next we're going to wood glue before we start screwing okay now we get to screwing so we have the extra long drill bit that the little kit came with and you have to buy screws based on the depth of your material okay and then we just that pulled the pieces together so that's good wow i can't believe it took me this long to start doing pocket holes craig jig this is just a way sturdier way to screw things together my boards are warped and that sucks a lot so i have my two boards glued um jigged together and i marked out exactly the width of seven of my two inch tiles which aren't really two inches because of the gaps in between you know so it means that i have to cut off a very small amount which is not ideal but what i did do was mark out my line and then i also just screwed this scrap piece of wood to my board since i'm covering the whole thing entirely i don't care about the screw marks and i just thought this would be an easy way to get a nice straight line with my circle saw clamp to the table now let's cut these screws are not down enough honestly some woods smell good most would smell good i would say this one smells like cat pee gross okay i'm gonna take off my little guide here then we're gonna cut the three sides the three surfaces so out of this long board i'm cutting essentially three pieces my two legs and my top just this is probably honestly the hardest part is figuring out what exact size to cut everything so that the tiles you don't have like extra space i believe this is the hardest part i hope this is the hardest part so i'm gonna figure out some math and i'll let you guys know where i land okay so these are the sizes that i ended up cutting out for my short table here now this table is going to be quite short daniella is a small and she didn't want a very tall table for her keyboard which is cool so obviously your sizes will vary but you can use this idea in order to make something that's custom sized for you if that's what you're doing so what i figured out is that the top of my table needs to be the exact size of my tiles and super flush so for the sides i did the exact size of the desired tiles plus half an inch to compensate for the tile that's going to be attached to the edge of the top piece head to our blog if you are still confused then i cut all my pieces i now have all my pieces and now what i'm going to do is use my kreg jig again in order to attach these now i'm sure some of you are wondering if you need to use a kreg jig like what if you don't have one so i'm actually going to do one leg with just like screws coming down from the top and wood gluing that together and i'm going to wood glue and kreg jig the other one together and we can see like how sturdy each leg is a little experiment what's the best way to do this oh my god that was so loud um okay so this is where you could use 90 degree clamps which i have if you don't have them the problem is you just have to like hold it while you drill which isn't the end of the world i'm gonna try i'll try that i'll try just holding while i drill i'm going to make sure that i have some wood glue on there i'll come on your side with the table this is our table top i'm just gonna make sure there's wood glue top of my leg goes on here i want to make sure everything's lined up okay ready let's get in formation so i'm drilling large holes about three quarters of an inch deep so that i can countersink my three inch screws of course using wood glue and screwing together using pocket holes is ideal because then we can go into the face grain instead of going into the end grain which is a weaker spot to secure so this is the side that's screwed i mean it's a little wobbly for sure this is the side of the craigslist also a little wobbly i would say that the screw side is slightly more wobbly but i do think especially for the height of this table that if you didn't have a kreg jig you don't have to stress too much i think that you could just do some really long like three inch screws countersink them a little bit with some wood glue i think you'd be okay i think you'd be okay honestly that's my whole table moving that's this table moving great dania i'm going hard for you okay this is for you baby okay oh my god i can actually take these off now because i think i'm done cutting everything i need to cut sick good work team that's me i'm the team member oh my god tile is so heavy you need to remember that when you're building this table that like it's gonna be heavy afterwards i'll see if i can remember to bring in my scale and we can weigh it uh so we're just gonna get started tiling we have a couple videos where we try tiling this is personally my second time but i'm confident this will be pretty easy so tile adhesive goes on here and then we plop in our on our tiles i won't really need spacers that often but i do have them somewhere okay i'm done pretty much all of the tiling if you guys are not a fan of being like doing precise work i would suggest you skip this project i feel like i keep looking and checking to make sure everything's in line and um i feel like i could be here forever just like making sure everything's perfect i also filmed a tick tock while i finished this if you guys are already following us on tik tok we do have a tech talk so um feel free to go follow oh my god my hands are like the tick tock was kind of about this anyways go check it out i'm feeling really good about it i think it looks sick daniella oh my god girl let's tile the inside good morning guys back in the office and um everything is still one piece which i'm really excited by but i do need a couple supplies that i ordered um that aren't quite ready for pickup yet so i thought while we wait for those before we get to grouting let's shift focus and focus on the mirror i'm really excited to get started so let's try the moss mirror so i have all my moss here i'm hoping to not open up all these packages because they're like nine dollars a piece and i don't think i need that much moss but i wanted the selection and i can always return some stuff i just found in our cupboard and then of course our mirror which we got off of facebook marketplace it's vintage it's cute i think it'll be perfect for this diy kind of reminds me of bridgerton something that would live in bridgerton world am i the only one watching bridgeton am i the only one that's watching production twice no just me okay well let's get started on the ci so for this diy we saw it on tick tock by carolyn winner she made this moss mirror it's pretty simple but it has a pretty wow effect so let's just jump in the first thing i'm going to do is clean off the mirror because it's quite dusty so we're going to just give it a little wipe down i've been sitting down while i did that cool i don't know why i'm standing up as lady kelsey began to film she was annoyed that none of her maids and maidens were there to help her with the filming setup this is so annoying yeah eat okay shiny mirror looking freaking dope words so i think the next step is to just rough in where we want the moss to go this is gonna be the fun part and the creative part lady kelsey carefully collected her moss pieces and placed them in the opposite corners of the mirror different variations of moss will indeed give the design more dimension she started with scraggly moss as a base i don't think i'm gonna cover it as much as the tick tocker did i kind of like the idea of having like open sides and like there's so many different types of moss like this is so dry and like stringy and then this is like bushy but crispy but then these ones literally could be made out of a pillow and this one's somewhere in between this one's just ugly we're not gonna use that lady kelsey began to question her purchases should we use the lighter stuff i believe that was a no lady kelsey continued to add moss to the mirror she didn't let her shopping choices get in the way of her diy she thought ain't nobody got time for that to still work as a mirror this kind of looks like something else that weed after working endlessly on the tile table she enjoyed this slow-paced diy and took her time with it lady kelsey thought to herself this is fun the mirror was coming together with a lovely blend of various saturated moss excited with her design lady kelsey knew there was something missing she went with her gut and added in the pillow looking fluff balls that she bought it's so soft it doesn't smell good though oh yeah i think that's a vibe that's a vibe super vibey indeed her excitement grew after every new placement of the white moss also known as grey reindeer lykan as a lady kelsey's excitement grew she felt she needed to settle down a bit as she was getting too hyped ew why do i love this stuff so much i mean i mean pretty good lady kelsey was impressed with herself so impressed that she forgot that the glue gun still needed to heat up needs to heat up a little bit more i shall gaze out the window i shall gaze onto the terrace it was quite an early day for lady kelsey she was already thinking about what to have for lunch that bowl of oatmeal was not as filling as she expected it to be lady kelsey's attention darted straight to her phone thinking that maybe she could get a quick tick-tock break to pass the time oh no one's fingers won't work with the technology and the setting gloves hey siri open camera hey siri open camera oh my god that works video oh my god that worked too lady kelsey took some selfies with her spare time thus continuing to explore the endless possibilities of
