**The Azul Byte Plus: A Compact Media Streaming PC**
The Azul Byte Plus is a compact media streaming PC that offers a wide range of features and capabilities, making it an excellent choice for those who need a simple computer environment for media streaming, browsing, and basic productivity. With its sleek design and fanless operation, this mini PC is perfect for use in small spaces, such as bedrooms or living rooms.
**Hardware and Connectivity**
The Azul Byte Plus has a 3.5 millimeter headphone audio jack, which allows users to connect headphones for an immersive listening experience. Additionally, it features two USB 3.0 ports, which can be used to hook up external hard drives for adding extra storage or streaming media directly from the drive. The USB 2.0 port is also available, providing a dedicated connection for wireless mouse and keyboard dongles. Furthermore, this PC has a Kensington lock, ensuring that it remains secure and connected to your workspace.
**Networking and Connectivity**
The Azul Byte Plus comes equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet connection, which provides fast and reliable internet connectivity. The Wi-Fi antenna supports dual bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), allowing users to switch between the two frequencies as needed. This feature is particularly useful for those who require multiple devices to be connected to their network simultaneously.
**Power and Performance**
This mini PC is powered by an Intel Cherry Trail quad-core processor, which provides sufficient power for media streaming and basic productivity tasks. Although it does not have Hyper-Threading, the processor still manages to handle demanding tasks such as video playback and streaming from Netflix, Hulu, and Plex servers with ease.
**Storage and RAM**
The Azul Byte Plus comes in two storage options: 32 GB of emmc flash memory or 64 GB, which is ideal for users who need more space for their media files and programs. Additionally, the PC features a micro SD card slot, allowing users to expand its storage capacity as needed.
**Gaming and Performance**
While not intended for gaming, the Azul Byte Plus can handle simple games like Minecraft at 30-40 FPS with lower graphics settings. However, more demanding games may not run smoothly due to the limited processing power.
**Software and User Experience**
This PC runs on a legitimate version of Microsoft Windows 10, allowing users to install programs, download games, and access the internet as needed. The Azul Byte Plus is also suitable for use as a kids' computer or grandma's computer for basic web browsing, office work, and Skype usage.
**Maintenance and Noise**
One of the standout features of this mini PC is its fanless design, which makes it silent and eliminates the need for maintenance. This feature is particularly beneficial for those who prefer to avoid the noise and hassle associated with traditional PC fans.
In conclusion, the Azul Byte Plus is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a compact media streaming PC that requires minimal maintenance, produces no noise, and provides ample connectivity options. Its versatility and capabilities make it suitable for a wide range of users, from those who want to stream their favorite TV shows and movies to individuals who need a simple computer environment for basic productivity tasks.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enmy original plan when I first moved into my apartment on my own was I was gonna set up a basic Media PC to be able to stream all my movies music TV shows random videos and things like that I have a huge media library along with accessing Hulu Netflix and all that jazz and I've never really found the ideal setup the PC that I was using shut down randomly at just on its own for whatever reason and I've yet to diagnose what was actually wrong with it the ps3 doesn't do everything that I want it to do the Xbox one does but then I can't play games in here so never had the right solution especially since my television is going on eight years old and does not have smart technology built into it well as Ulla reached out to sponsor this video so I could showcase what I consider almost the perfect media streaming PC as long as you don't plan on doing a whole lot of gaming on it and it's pretty neat my name is Adam arepas Fox and this is the Azul byte Plus this is a fan --less mini PC that is perfect for streaming movies TV show music and so on - from either the internet or another server or computer in your house to a television that doesn't already have the Smart TV stuff built into it or perhaps you just don't like it I've actually had a lot of problems with a lot of the Smart TV interfaces that I've taken a look at over the past couple years so this is the byte plus and like I said before it is totally fanless so it won't make any extra noise in your TV environment which is pretty cool and it's very very small smaller than a DVR a DVD player uh VCR a game console it is probably the smallest device you will ever hook up to your TV aside from something like a chromecast it is pretty slick now it is also well built in terms of how many ports it has and so on so you have the basic power button on the front which you do have to hold in a little bit to get it to turn on besides they're empty other than a single micro SD card slot which you can expand these storage up to 120 extra gigs or 128 extra gigs with it which you may or may not need based on the internal specs which I'll get to in a moment then on the back you have quite a bit you have the DC power input and it's just a basic power brick it's fairly simple you have for video you have both an HDMI and a VGA port and you can actually use it as a dual monitor setup if you're using it as a very very basic PC or otherwise you can just use the HDMI port to stream to your television you have a headphone or a 3.5 millimeter headphone audio jack or you just use the HDMI out if you're running it to your TV or entertainment center for hooking things up you actually have three USB ports two USB 3.0 which could be great for hooking up external hard drives for adding extra storage or just running your music or movies or TV shows straight off of the hard drives if you don't have a separate streaming and like streaming server PC set up and then you have a USB 2.0 port for working up a wireless mouse or keyboard dongle which you can of course use with the USB 3.0 but that's the benefit of having a dedicated 2.0 is you can always have a dedicated keyboard mouse hook up it does have a Kensington lock and then a Gigabit Ethernet connection and this Wi-Fi antenna actually supports dual bands so you can use both the five gigahertz and two-point 2.4 gigahertz Wi-Fi bands on your wireless network so it does a lot and then it has a couple of mounting threads on the bottom with this rubberized feet it's also made of a very hard metal and this case acts as the heat dissipation because like I said it is totally fanless which means that if you use it for very long periods of time doing some heavy media playback or trying to play some games or something it will get quite warm to the touch and it does say on the warning sticker to be careful when if touching it after long use but that means it stays totally silent no matter what you're doing in your television environment you don't have to worry about any extra fan noise which most game consoles actually contribute on their own that means it takes up a lot less space and use this quite a bit less power internally you can either get 2 gigabytes or 4 gigabytes of RAM 32 gigs or 64 gigs of emmc flash memory storage which is why I mentioned the micro sd and the hard drive thing before only has 32 gigs this one has 32 gigs so you can also get a more expensive 64 gig version which isn't a whole lot of space but it is enough to run basic windows and things like that and then you stream your media from the USB ports or over your network or over the Internet which is what most people are doing these days it's also powered by an intel cherry trail quad core processor does not have hyper threading but still for to handle media playback and streaming in the like and it holds up pretty well I trusted streaming from Netflix Hulu my own plex server as well as playing back local media files and it handed it handled it all like a champ YouTube videos played back pretty well as well and you're not gonna do a whole lot of gaming on this thing I did run minecraft on it and if I if you lower the graphics settings you can get a pretty playable about 30 ish fps although it has a little bit trouble rendering in chunks of the world and the like but it's not really meant to be a gaming PC it's meant to just simply be a you know a media streaming PC and it works quite well with that I have a plex media server running on my transcoding server as well as my online streaming accounts as well as I just copied some files over to it and no hiccups I I determined like this this is exactly what I wanted out of all of my various attempts at setting up a media streaming PC in my bedroom setup and I don't know if I mentioned this but this is all running a complete legit version of Microsoft Windows 10 not like an RT version or any crazy limited version like that a full desktop copy you can download and install programs download and install games you could also set it up as a kids computer for very basic like web games and very basic games and skyping or a grandma computer for just web browsing office work and skyping things like that like it it's great for those who simply who need just a very simple computer environment or who want to do media streaming like this is the perfect machine that requires pretty much no maintenance makes no noise takes up no space and has all the main hookups that just about anyone would need I hope you enjoyed this video on the Azul byte plus
