iPhone 8 Plus vs OnePlus 5 SPEED Test

**Speed Test: iPhone 8 Plus vs 1 + 5**

In this test, we compared the performance of two devices: an iPhone 8 Plus and a 1 + 5. We started by loading up games on both devices to see which one could handle them faster. The first game loaded was Angry Birds 2, followed closely by Mario Run, Sonic Dash, Temple Run 2, Subway Surfers, and Dead Trigger 2. To our surprise, the iPhone 8 Plus was able to load all of these games significantly faster than the 1 + 5. This suggests that the newer device is better equipped to handle resource-intensive apps.

We continued by loading up more games, including Asphalt 8: Airborne, Quaker, and Real Steel. Again, the iPhone 8 Plus proved to be the faster device, able to load these games quickly and efficiently. However, it's worth noting that not all games performed equally well on both devices. For example, Dead Trigger 2 required a complete reload on the iPhone 8 Plus, but was still open and playable on the 1 + 5.

**RAM Management: The 1 + 5 Takes the Lead**

After completing our speed test, we moved on to examine the RAM management capabilities of both devices. We left several apps open in the background, including YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and a news article, to see how each device handled the load. To our surprise, the 1 + 5 was able to keep all of these apps open for longer periods of time than the iPhone 8 Plus.

This suggests that the newer device has a more robust RAM management system, allowing it to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without slowing down. In contrast, the iPhone 8 Plus required frequent reloads and even had some smaller apps closed due to lack of resources. This performance disparity highlights the importance of RAM management in modern smartphones.

**Conclusion: The Verdict is Still Out**

While the 1 + 5 took the initial win in our speed test with its fingerprint scanner, it fell behind the iPhone 8 Plus in terms of overall gaming performance. Conversely, the iPhone 8 Plus excelled in gaming but struggled with RAM management. Ultimately, this test suggests that both devices have their strengths and weaknesses.

We can't help but feel that the iPhone 10 is still in development, and once it's released, we'll see significant improvements in RAM management on the newer device. Until then, the choice between these two smartphones will depend on your individual needs and priorities. If gaming is your top priority, the iPhone 8 Plus may be the better choice. However, if you want a device that can handle multiple tasks simultaneously without slowing down, the 1 + 5 might be the way to go.

**Recommendations**

If you're in the market for a new smartphone and value a strong gaming experience, we recommend considering the iPhone 8 Plus. While it may not have the best RAM management capabilities, its powerful processor and impressive display make it well-suited for gamers. On the other hand, if you prioritize multitasking and want a device that can handle multiple apps simultaneously without slowing down, the 1 + 5 is worth exploring further.

We hope this test has provided you with valuable insights into the performance of these two devices. Be sure to subscribe to our channel for more content like this, and hit that thumbs up button if you found this article helpful!
