My Reliable FS7 Camera
This is my reliable FS7 camera, and I'm extremely proud of it. It's been with me through thick and thin, and I still use it to this day. In fact, it was one of my first professional-grade cameras that I purchased, and I couldn't be happier with the investment. John, my friend and collaborator, played a big role in encouraging me to make the switch from a lower-end camera to the FS7. He told me we needed to go for 4K, and boy was he right. Looking back, I'm glad I took his advice and made the switch.
My FS7 may not be the only camera that I use anymore, but it's still one of my favorites. I have a lot of fond memories of working with this camera, and it's always reliable when I need it to be. Over the years, John has introduced me to many other amazing cameras and equipment, including the Sony A7S III and the Ronin. These tools have taken my productions to a whole new level, and I'm grateful for John's guidance and expertise.
My Red Epic W Camera
I recently picked up the Red Epic W camera, and I've been falling in love with it ever since. Yes, it comes with a hefty price tag and large file sizes, but the images it produces are truly exceptional. The Epic W has become my go-to camera for high-end productions, and I couldn't be happier with the results it's producing.
One of the things that really sets the Red Epic W apart is its lens compatibility. I've been using a variety of ODIN lenses, which have been incredible to work with. These lenses are designed specifically for the Epic W, and they offer unparalleled image quality. I've also started experimenting with Sigma lenses, which have been a great addition to my kit.
John has also introduced me to the Red Monstro camera, which has taken my productions to new heights. The Monstro's ability to capture stunning images in a variety of lighting conditions is unmatched, and it's become one of my favorite cameras to work with.
My Sigma Lenses
In addition to the Epic W, I've also started using some amazing Sigma lenses. These lenses have been a game-changer for me, offering exceptional image quality and versatility. From wide-angle shots to telephoto portraits, Sigma lenses have got it all covered.
One of the things that really stands out about Sigma lenses is their durability and reliability. They're built to last, with high-quality materials and craftsmanship that ensures they'll perform flawlessly even in the toughest conditions.
My Eye Footage Shark Slider
I recently picked up an eye footage shark slider, which has become one of my favorite accessories for stabilizing shots. This thing is a workhorse, with its counterweight balance and carbon fiber tracks providing smooth and stable motion. It's also incredibly durable, able to withstand even the toughest rigors.
The shark slider is paired perfectly with my LED lights, which add a professional touch to any shot. The ability to change the color of these lights has opened up new possibilities for me, allowing me to create a wide range of moods and atmospheres in my footage.
My Prop: Light Up Gloves
I recently picked up some light-up gloves from DSLR Video Shooter, which have become a staple prop in my kit. These gloves are not only stylish but also incredibly useful, providing a convenient way to add LED lights to any shot. The fact that they're so affordable – under $40 – makes them an absolute steal.
These gloves have proven themselves to be a game-changer for me, allowing me to create stunning thumbnails and adding an extra layer of depth to my footage. They're also incredibly versatile, able to be used in a wide range of situations from social media content creation to high-end film production.
