How to Install Netflix on Any Android Device: A Step-by-Step Guide
Before you begin, please note that this guide is only applicable for devices that are rooted. If your device is not rooted, please visit our how-to section by clicking on the link provided, which will show you all of our rooting procedures. Just select your phone and follow the specific procedure for your device.
Once you have completed the rooting process, you can proceed with installing Netflix on your Android device. The first step is to go to the developer post by clicking on the provided link, where you will see the Netflix APK files. There are two versions available: one that works for certain phones and another that works for others. We cannot guarantee which one will work on your specific device, but we can provide guidance on how to proceed.
First, download the first version of the Netflix APK file onto your computer. Once you have downloaded it, plug your phone into your computer via USB and mount the SD card. To do this, pull down your notification bar and hit "Turn on USB storage." Then, open up your device's internal storage or SD card to access the APK files.
Once you have accessed the APK files, locate the Netflix app on your SD card. Do not click on any folder that contains the name of the APK file; instead, scroll down until you find the actual Netflix app with "Device check disabled" listed under its name. We recommend checking both versions of the Netflix app in case one does not work.
Next, install the first version of the Netflix APK file by clicking the "Install" button. Once the installation is complete, click the "Open" button to launch the Netflix app on your device. Now that you have launched the app, it's time to put in your information for your Netflix account. This will allow you to access your queue and stream content.
Some users may encounter an issue where they cannot stream content after accessing their queue. In this case, try adjusting your settings by clicking the "Adjust" button. However, if this does not work, do not worry; we have another solution for you.
We recommend using a file manager such as Astro (available for free download from Market) to locate and install the Netflix APK files on your device. Once you have accessed the APK files, follow the same steps outlined above. We repeat that one version of the Netflix app may work on certain devices while the other works on others, so do not be discouraged if one does not work.
In conclusion, installing Netflix on an Android device requires a few simple steps. If your device is rooted and you have followed our instructions, you should now have access to the Netflix app. We hope that this guide has been helpful in setting up Netflix on your device.
