700HP Audi S5 4.0 TFSI ENGINE SWAP _ REVIEW on AUTOBAHN

The Audi S5 Coupe: A Vehicle Worthy of Attention

As I take a closer look at this Audi S5 Coupe, it's clear that everything about it is just right. The caliper looks a bit worn, with a small bend in its finish, but it's not enough to detract from the overall aesthetic. The Continental SportContact 7 tires, which come in a range of sizes and compounds, are a great match for this car. With their unique tread pattern and excellent grip, they're one of the best tire options available today.

But what really sets this S5 apart is its exterior design. The silver mirror caps on the rearview mirrors are a classic Audi touch that adds to the car's sophistication. The lines are clean and simple, with no unnecessary embellishments or distractions. This is a car that exudes understated elegance, rather than flashy flair. And yet, despite its lack of extraneous features, this S5 still manages to look every inch the part of a high-performance grand tourer.

Underneath the hood lies a potent 4L V8 turbocharged engine, stage-one tuned for maximum performance. The transmission is sourced from the Audi R6, another highly regarded unit that's known for its exceptional shifting quality and rapid acceleration. With a staggering 700 horsepower at its disposal, this S5 can accelerate from zero to sixty in just under three seconds – an incredible feat, especially considering the car's relatively modest curb weight.

But what really sets this engine apart is its exhaust note. When driven aggressively, the V8 sounds like a beast awakened from slumber, producing a deep rumble that's both thrilling and intimidating. The sound is so evocative that it can transport even the most seasoned audiophiles to a world of high-octane thrills.

Of course, no discussion of this car would be complete without mentioning its interior. The bucket seats are sumptuously appointed, with premium leather and precise stitching that speaks to the owner's attention to detail. The dials – analog, yet with a digital twist at their centers – provide a tactile connection to the instrument cluster that's hard to find in today's increasingly electronic vehicles.

But what I think really sets this car apart is its engine swap. A rare enthusiast modification, it brings out the best in this already potent engine. The sound is sublime, a perfect blend of low-end grunt and high-revving scream that sends shivers down the spine. It's little wonder this owner has been referred to as a "poor man's Bugatti" – for this car truly embodies the spirit of the iconic supercar.

With its Quattro system, all-wheel drive capabilities, and dual-clutch transmission, this S5 is more than just a car – it's an experience. The way it hugs the road, cornering with precision and accuracy that's simply breathtaking, makes you wonder how something so capable can be made to feel so accessible.

So what really gets me excited about this car? It's not just its performance credentials or its beautiful design – although those are certainly part of its appeal. It's the sense of possibility that comes with owning a car like this. With a little creativity and resourcefulness, anything is possible. Want to add a turbo kit? Go for it! Need more power? Just strap on another engine and enjoy the ride.

Of course, there are some caveats – namely, the limited cooling capacity of the intercooler system, which can lead to a drop in performance at high temperatures. But with careful tuning and maintenance, that's hardly a problem worth worrying about.

For now, I'm just thrilled to be behind the wheel of this incredible car. With its 0-60 time of under two seconds, it's one of the fastest cars on the market – a true rocket ship that leaves all else in its wake. And as we hit the autobahn and floor it, the sound of those twin turbochargers screaming like banshees is music to my ears.

But what really gets me is the driving experience itself – so smooth, so refined, and yet still possessing a deliciously meaty feel that's hard to resist. It's little wonder this car has captured the hearts of so many enthusiasts around the world. Whether you're cruising down the highway or carving up a twisty mountain road, this S5 is an absolute blast.

And now, with our trusty Ultraan by our side, we can really put this car through its paces – see what 2.8 seconds to 100 looks like in action. With the engine revving at full tilt and the tires gripping the asphalt like a vice, it's little wonder this car is so revered among driving enthusiasts.

Finally, let's not forget the owner of this incredible machine – a true enthusiast who has poured their heart and soul into creating something truly special. From the single-person engine mount to the bespoke interior trim, every detail speaks to their dedication to the craft. It's clear that they're someone who isn't afraid to think outside the box, or push the boundaries in pursuit of perfection.

So here we are – with a car that's equal parts driver's delight and high-performance machine. Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or just starting your driving journey, this Audi S5 Coupe is sure to leave an indelible mark on your psyche. And for those who know what they want from a driving experience – the rush of adrenaline, the thrill of performance, the sheer joy of being behind the wheel – this car truly has it all.

of bugs and stuff because he just drove an insane amount just to uh do this video I'm so thankful for him doing that yeah let's just uh do a lap so everything is a bit gritty which I do really like because you expect this to be some Audi S5 that originated with 340 horsepower maybe 300 from the looks of it because everything just have a look at the caliper it's a bit gone it's a bit zero given what I do really like is or are these wheels really really nice and this Continental sport contact seven rubber really really good Tire one of the best out there nowadays and one of the best exterior features I think from Audi ever are the silver mirror caps uh that they made on the Audi snrs models back in the day really classic design from an Audi S5 Coupe beautiful car I think it's so simplistic in a good way it's not busy it's not flashing its light or anything like modern Audi's uh we got a Remis exhaust we have decut down pipes then a sort of custom midpipe and then a Remis backbox that's for an Audi S5 of course so those got connected with a few mods and let's have a look at what is underneath because that's why you guys are watching I think here we have the 4 L V8 bturbo with a stage one tune also the transmission is from the Audi R6 uh one of the best engines ever made I think uh 700 horsepower now 900 newm 0 to 100 in 2.8 seconds remember that Bugatti reference I made earlier this thing this is a weapon it is scorching hot out today it's 30 plus de so we won't get the performance it's capable of but what an amazing car I just love the fact that it looks like it does it's completely stock except for the Wheels I mean you would have expected like a V badge on the side right there but not even that so the interior beautiful bucket seats really like this gen of Audi Interiors beautiful dials analog dials with a little digital part in the middle I just love this I love this car guys I love this generation of cars and I love me some hot hatches some performance cars some supercars and Hyper cars but I adore an engine swap what a lovely sound sorry sorry if I'm sounding childish or anything it's just this really brings up the little boy in me so let's go for a drive so let's just stick it into sport mode mode so little disclaimer the owner hit a pth hole in the right front maybe bending small little bend in a control arm so the alignment is not perfect so we have to keep that in mind when we hit the autoban um so very very capable machine this let me show you guys doesn't have the stupid pops and bangs tune it's so linear it's so classic really love it okay let's do a little break Bruce and then let's see what 2.8 seconds to 100 looks like in an Audi S5 Poor Man's Bugatti Von that gearbox is so fast of course the Varon and the Chiron have a dual clutch but this unit from the Audi R six is just as capable I mean the way it shifts from first to second and second to third fantastic really really that's 700 horsepower but 900 new Newton me just everywhere is absolutely insane and the fact that I'm driving a twodo coupe made to be a g GT a grand tour I mean this really is a Bugatti's baby brother so of course we also have a Quattro system so you know you're not going to do any big drift with it but as I said it's a big GT you don't do drifting with a Bugatti you just floor it and enjoy the ease at with it just takes up speed and Road and oh and of course to show you guys I need the utraan so let's go over there I am so impressed with this really oh the fact that this has been someone's winter hobby creating this car just a single person making their own engine mount by the way Jesus my God I have to show you guys what this is capable of wow 34 and A2 de outside so it's super super super hot and the biggest flaw of this drivetrain is it's intercooler so they these 4 L V8 B turbos have a very small water to air intercooler and especially with high temperatures and lots of autoban driving the intake temperature rises and the performance drops like that so not a great combo but I managed to do a 6.6 100 to 200 the owner in normal conditions a 6.1 what the hell I love this car it's one of my favorite cars of the year and I do really hope that you guys enjoyed this uh the owner is going to modify it even further do a single turbo kit I mean please come back with that that that is just
