New OnePlus 7T Pro Unboxing & Overview - Never Settled

OnePlus 70 Pro: Unboxing and First Look

As we can see from the device itself, the OnePlus 7 Pro still has some similarities to its predecessor, but there are also some new features that set it apart. The triple camera setup is one of the most notable upgrades, with a combination of optical zoom, telephoto, and ultra-wide-angle lenses. This allows for a wide range of photography capabilities, from regular shots to 3x zoom and even super macro mode. In video recording, the camera is set to 4K by default, but if you switch back to 1080p, it will allow you to shoot in the ultra-wide-angle lens.

In terms of front-facing camera, the pop-up mechanism allows for a compact design without sacrificing functionality. However, it does employ electronic image stabilization, which can result in some cropping during recording. Additionally, the portrait mode and nightscapes are available, offering a range of creative options for users. To get a better understanding of the camera capabilities, we decided to shoot some photographs with the device.

These samples showcase the quality of the camera in different modes. The regular shots demonstrate excellent detail and color accuracy, while the 3x zoom offers impressive close-up capabilities. The ultra-wide-angle lens is equally impressive, capturing a wide field of view without sacrificing image quality. We also tested the portrait mode, which does an excellent job with skin tones and texture. However, it's worth noting that the images can be prone to noise in low-light conditions, particularly when using artificial lighting.

Moving on to indoor shots, we noticed that the images suffered from washed-out colors and excessive noise. This suggests that a software update may be necessary to improve performance in these situations. Despite this, the camera still managed to produce some excellent results outdoors, capturing detailed textures and vibrant colors.

One of the standout features of the OnePlus 7 Pro is its ability to switch between different modes seamlessly. The wide-angle lens can be used for regular shots or ultra-wide-angle perspectives, while the 3x zoom offers impressive close-up capabilities. In video recording, the camera employs both optical and electronic image stabilization, resulting in smooth footage even when handheld.

However, there is one notable omission: the ability to record video in the ultra-wide-angle lens mode at 4K resolution. We discovered that the device defaults to regular mode in 4K, which may be disappointing for users who want to capture more of their surroundings. Fortunately, recording in 1080p allows for the use of the ultra-wide-angle lens, resulting in some impressive footage.

In terms of user experience, the OnePlus 7 Pro is a pleasure to hold and use. The device feels solid in the hand, with a comfortable weight distribution that makes it easy to navigate. The display is equally impressive, offering vibrant colors and crisp text.

Overall, we can see that the OnePlus 7 Pro is a formidable opponent in the smartphone market. With its triple camera setup, excellent performance, and sleek design, it's clear that this device was worth releasing. While there are some minor drawbacks, such as the limited ability to record video in 4K with the ultra-wide-angle lens, these are easily outweighed by the device's many strengths.

What do users think about the OnePlus 7 Pro? Was it necessary for the company to release this device, or does it feel like an unnecessary upgrade? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi there this is Ranjit and in this video let's do the unboxing of this one plus 70 pro I don't know how long the NIMH will go and I'm confused with this product but anyways let's just unbox it and this is the successor to the 1 + 7 pro so let me just take it out easier to peel this way and this says 1 + 70 Pro over here and as you can see it has 8 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of storage and this is the his blue variant and guys this is a unit so I don't know the exact pricing but I'll add that in the description I feel the pricing will not be very different from the 1 + 7 pro but let's see and does this actually make any sense because now we also have the 1 + 17 which is actually pretty good device but anyways let's open this up and we have some people work again that letter by 1 + founder and stuff you have over here it's by beat I'll just keep that to the side and we also get some stickers here and one more with a pamphlet which gives you an idea about the ports and stuff safety and regulatory all that paperwork I'll keep to the side and here we have the actual device itself in this blue color in fact this is actually very close to this is a regional one there's a slight difference in the colors as you can see the older one is slightly darker this is slightly on the lighter side but yeah the gradient effect is a lot more and from the back actually looks almost the same except for this one and I believe that is for macro shots that's something new anyway so we look at the device later let's see what else do we get in the box and we get a transparent case again finally speaking and this device might be closer to 50 thousand they should have given a better quality case than this one but this is what we get sim ejector tool USB type-c cable and now we are actually having this new wrap charger that is the 32 and this is supposed to be charging even faster slightly faster according to one plus documentation about 23% faster but this is also a 30 watt charger so that's what we get in the box so let me keep these things to the side and then let's have a closer look at the handset so here we have the handset itself and guys to be frank in terms of looks and everything very similar to the original one plus seventh row as you can see almost the same looks like that back only as I told you we have something extra over here but anyways let me give you a physical overview you still have that pop up camera it's a 16 megapixel front facing camera we also have a secondary noise cancellation microphone we have the alert slider over here this is the power on/off button bottom length would be the speaker type C port and this is your SIM tray this will be again dual SIM nano a1 plus never gives so what do you say micro SD card slot so yeah again once I'm over here once I'm over here this is the same thing we saw even with the oneplus 70 and over here we have the volume rockers and back we have the triple camera setup let me remove this and the main camera is still a 48 megapixel Sony IMX 586 but the aperture is F 1.6 so hopefully this should do a lot better in low lighting artificial lighting and then we have that 8 megapixel zoom this is a 3x zoom even for the 48 megapixel we have optical image stabilization and then we have the 16 megapixel which is actually that ultra wide and front-facing where's the pop-up 16 megapixel so that's for the physical overview so let me do one thing guys let me and quickly just power this up I hope it has a charge and by the time it actually boots up and I set it up let me give you a configuration overview this one plus 70 Pro is having a six point six seven inch AMOLED screen which is a quad HD plus screen but ninety Hertz refresh it's part by the new Snapdragon heat 55 plus SOC it comes with bytes of RAM storage will be about 256 gigabytes it also has Dolby Atmos and display fingerprint scanner going to the it has a triple rear facing camera forty eight megapixel is the main camera then we have an 8 megapixel that's a 3x zoom and 16 megapixel that's ultra Y we also have a 16 megapixel front facing camera and a four thousand 85 million power battery with the new wrap charger so guys I've set up this device and again typical oxygen OS that you're finding on this one I mean pretty clean but that's what all these oneplus has so no bloatware apart from some oneplus apps community apps and transfer apps Netflix is actually pre-loaded on this one and again left we have the name a subtle like that pane over here and I'm using their new gesture navigation guys you can set it but this is the default one that you get with Android 10 and this comes with out of the box with Android 10 same similar what do you say toggles over here we also have the Zen mode and if we go over here if we go to about the phone as you can see it's running on android version 10 which is the latest version of Android so you're getting this out of the box that's a good thing but again even your older oneplus devices should be getting the Android 10 very soon so that's regarding that and if you go over here and if you look at the storage out of that 256 about 227 gigabytes is sort of available to you about 30 GB is sort of use so that's regarding the storage on this one again this is typical what do you say oxygen OS that you are getting so very familiar clean UI so in terms of performance you shouldn't have a problem and this is also having the 90 Hertz cream now all oneplus devices will be having that as you can see and by default it was set to 90 Hertz not 60 that's what I've noticed so again this also having that curved screen similar to the 1 plus 70 so in terms of physical differences I could find much apart from that back as it could be that camera for the macro it's very similar now let's also look at the in display fingerprint scanner bits over here and yes it's still fast as you can see so now let's also talk about the cameras on this one again a triple camera setup but they say they also have a new Mac more with this one so let's look at it and if you fire up this as you can see we are finding the typical stuff 1 X that's the regular that's the 48 megapixel and then we also have this 3 X Ursa and again this is also optical zoom plus you can even do a is and then you finally have the wide-angle lens as you can see it goes really really wide but another one's car do you think that I've noticed this year over here if you click it goes into the super macro mode and now so that's the big difference that I have noticed and in video what I have noticed is that by default it's set to 4k and here we don't have the wide-angle lens but if I go back to 1080p then it's allowing me to shoot the video in wide angle as you can see this was the regular and wide angle but in 4k it's actually not allowing us to shoot in the wide angle so that's something that I've noticed and front-facing camera is that pop-up running video in the photo as you can see it's like this in video it's cropping because it employs electronic image stabilization huge crop as you can see this in the photo and we also have that portrait mode over here and you also have the nightscape so let me know one thing guys let me actually shoot some photographs with this one so that you have a better idea regarding the camera so these are the samples this was taken in the regular this is 3x zoom and this is wide-angle one more example regular this is the wide-angle and not moving to close-up macro shots as you can see we got some incredible shots thanks to that new macro lens capabilities I mean this is regular shot this is the 3x zoom and this was that wide-angle somewhat random shots and as you can see got some very good detail now in the human subject this is the regular shot this is that portrait zoom and this is the portrait regular and this was the wide-angle lens what happens with the wide-angle lens and sometimes as you notice it can go out of focus and now some more samples as you can see it does actually a pretty good job in terms of skin tones now going to indoor lighting here also I felt that it actually did a pretty good job as you can see from samples but when it comes to human subjects and artificial lighting conditions as you can see the images are washed out they have a lot of noise and I tested it again and again I got the same results so I feel this big as of now and it really needs Oh TA update for human shots in indoor lighting now I'm going to the front-facing camera as you can see it did actually a pretty good job not only outdoors but even in indoor and artificial lighting recording this video with the rail facing camera and I've set it to 1080p guys because with the 1080p as you can see this normal mode and I can switch between the wide-angle and even the zoom mode but when I am keeping it in 4k it's just allowing me in the regular mode not in the wide-angle mode and I'm just going to walk and it should the footage should be good because it's employing both optical image stabilization as well as electronic image stabilization but you let me know what do you think about the same and I feel oneplus should allow us to record video even in the wide-angle mode in 4k because surprisingly it does allow with the oneplus 70 now recording this video with the front-facing camera of this one plus 70 Pro and again as it has electronic image stabilization it does tend to zoom in quite a bit in the video mode so again that you have to be aware of that and you have to really stretch your hands otherwise it'll zoom in like this but yeah the footage should be fine because it's doing electronic image stabilization but you guys let me know what do you think about the footage on the front-facing camera and by the way it's cap to 1080p video recording with the front-facing camera so guys that's it fun all for the unboxing and first look at this one plus 70 Pro frankly speaking guys what do you guys think about this device what do you think about it was it necessary for them to release this one plus 70 Pro because I frankly feel yes it's very similar to the 1 + 7 pro but I would love to know your thoughts so what do you think about the same do let me know in the comment section below that's it for now thanks for watching this is Ranjith and I hope to see you with my next video take care guyshi there this is Ranjit and in this video let's do the unboxing of this one plus 70 pro I don't know how long the NIMH will go and I'm confused with this
