My Favorite Bullet Journaling Supplies Ever
Hello everybody, my name is Steph Cozza, and today I'm going to show guys my favorite bullet journaling supplies ever. I have been bullet journaling for almost an entire year now, and I still love it. I have acquired a lot of supplies over the past few months, so I'm excited to share them with you.
First things first, we need to talk about the journal itself. This is my current bullet journal, which is a Leuchturm 1917 in size five. It's a dotted journal that comes from their bullet journal line, and it says "bullet journal" right on the cover. I've used this as my primary bullet journal for 2017, but I've upgraded to this one since then. This particular model can be found on Amazon for about $20, which is an amazing price considering how long it lasts me throughout the year.
I really recommend getting a dotted journal because the pages are dotted instead of lined or gridded. This allows you to write in straight lines and have kind of a grid without the annoying lines of gridded paper. It's very subtle, but I just think it's a great method of bullet journaling. You don't need this specific type of journal, though – any kind will do. The important thing is that it allows you to create your own unique system and layout.
Now on to the fun part, which is the supplies. My favorite craft supply ever has got to be glue tape. I use this in every single bullet journaling video that I do, every single journal spread that I've done – it's just a staple in my life. This stuff is amazing because you just roll it across the paper and create this little layer of sticky glue film. Essentially, you can turn anything you want to into a sticker with this. It's really great.
Another very frequently used item on my list is washi tape. I have an embarrassingly huge collection of washi tape – not even half of the entire collection, but it's still a lot. You can get a whole box of washi tape in every color on Amazon for about twice as big as this one, which I've already lost or used most of. But there are also awesome little stackable washi tape holders that can hold six or seven rolls of washi tape. They're just these little washi tape dispensers that can be stacked, and they're great because you can buy them super cheap on Amazon.
Everything that I'm mentioning in this video will be linked in the description, so you can buy everything that I'm talking about – and it will change your life (just kidding), but seriously, these are some really great supplies. Now, if you're like me and sometimes you want your bullet journal to look pretty but don't have time to actually make it pretty, washi tape solves all my life's problems.
Next up I have these amazing little six-inch rulers that fit so nicely inside my journal. They can be a bookmark, and they come in lots of colors – I love them. This one is not even as long as my journal, but it still fits right inside snuggly. These are just small and cute and lightweight; they don't take up a lot of space, and they're great for measuring things.
Another item that I use frequently is this handy dandy little journal pocket. It's actually from one of those little credit card wallets – basically you can peel off the back and stick it right inside your journal. Then you can put whatever you want in there: stickers, pens, rulers – anything you like. This is just nice to have a little pocket to store things that I might not need access to at all times.
That's it for my favorite bullet journaling supplies ever. Once again, all the links to find every single thing I talked about in this video are in the description – and if you're really into the idea of bullet journaling but don't know where to start because it can be intimidating, I would highly recommend getting our new Nifty journal. It's a great way to organize your life, full of life hacks, ways of adulting, because let's face it, we all pretend that we do this stuff – but we don't.
Thank you guys so much for watching this video! I am Steph Cozza, and I will see you guys in my next bullet journaling video. Whenever that is (chuckles).
