Setup Tour #3 - Behind The Scenes at Hardware Canucks

**My Extremely Overdue Setup Tour**

Hey guys, I'm Matt from Hardware Knucks, and it's time to show you my extremely overdue setup tour. As promised, we're going to take a closer look at my desk, keyboard, mouse, audio equipment, HTPC, TV, console components, editing and gaming rig, and more.

**My Desk**

First things first, let's talk about my desk. It's entirely made from Ikea using a Vika top and the Alex monitor stand. The stand ensures that my 27-inch IPS monitor is always at eye level and has some pretty handy compartments. Speaking of the monitor, I mentioned it earlier, but I'll give you a more in-depth look later on.

**My Monitor**

My monitor is a 27-inch IPS panel from Crossover, which delivers amazing color reproduction with a lightning quick response time for gaming. It's a great option for those on a budget, as Korean panels are the best bang for your buck before you get into higher-end options like 21:9 or UHD monitors. I've had this monitor for a while now, and I'm really happy with it.

**My Keyboard**

Moving on to my keyboard, I use the Funk KB 480 with red switches and red LEDs. It matches my color scheme and needs perfectly. I also love the sense of weight in my hand when typing, but my only feedback is that I wish it had a heavier mouse option available. Other than that, this keyboard has been a great addition to my setup.

**My Mouse**

My mouse is a Steel Series Sensei Wireless, which I also love. The LED light on my battery status is a nice touch, and it's always good to see the manufacturer paying attention to these little details. My only criticism is that I wish there were some heavier mouse options available, but overall, this mouse has been a great choice for me.

**My Audio Equipment**

Now let's talk about my audio equipment. I use the famous Audio Engine D1 DAC, which delivers solid quality audio and is perfect for driving my favorite headphones. Speaking of which, my headphones are the Eber Earphones, which are by far one of the best 2.1 systems you can buy in the market. It's compact, the sound is absolutely amazing, and I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a great gaming headset.

**My Mod Mic**

In addition to my headphones, I also have a mod mic that's been a lifesaver when it comes to testing high-end headphones with an attached mic. I use this in conjunction with my Audio Engine D1 DAC to get the best possible sound quality. I'm also happy to report that the Sennheiser 650s are still one of my favorite pairs of headphones, and they're perfect for editing, gaming, and just general listening.

**My HTPC**

Now, let's take a look at my custom HTPC. It's powered by NC, which is a major player in the PC hardware industry. I'm excited to share this review with you guys because it's going to help me change out my GPU for 4K gaming.

The setup includes a custom City Skyline cutout and a complete Plexi window. The HTPC itself runs on 16 gigs of RAM, an i5 CPU, and dual 770s. While I'm still happy with the performance it provides, I'm looking forward to upgrading my GPU soon.

**My TV**

To the right of my desk sits a beautiful 55-inch curved UHD TV from Samsung. This TV is a powerhouse, with a slim bezel, brushed aluminum stand feet, and a curved design that reduces glare. The effect of the curve also gives you more depth and immersion when watching content. I'm excited to share my thoughts on this TV in a review coming soon.

**My Console Components**

Below my TV are my Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. We're starting to branch out into console component reviews, so expect some exciting content coming your way. The setup will give us the opportunity to do some real-life Apples-to-Apples graphics and gameplay comparisons.

**My Editing and Gaming Rig**

Finally, let's take a look at my editing and gaming rig. It's built by NC, and it's one of the stars of the show. One of the standout features is the beautiful Fantex Enul Lux chassis with its distinct dual window design. The rig itself includes an Intel 4930K CPU, which is paired with a great selection of components to create a powerful editing machine.

The rig also includes a top-of-the-line graphics card, plenty of RAM and storage, and a reliable power supply. I'm really happy with this build, and it's been working flawlessly for me.
