**Unboxing the Apple TV with Siri Remote**

The moment of truth has finally arrived! I'm sitting here eagerly waiting to unbox the brand new Apple TV, accompanied by its sleek and stylish Siri remote. As expected, I've been struggling to unwrap the plastic wrap without scissors - it's a classic trend set by the iPhone 6s unboxing. But I've managed to break free from the packaging and reveal our shiny new Apple TV.

**The Apple TV Box**

As I carefully remove the lid of the box, I'm greeted with the familiar sight of the Apple TV. The design has changed slightly, with a more angular shape and a larger screen. It's definitely a stunning device, and I can see why Apple is excited to introduce it to the market. The Apple TV comes with a lovely sleep-inducing remote that I'll be putting down for now, as we need to take a closer look at the actual Apple TV.

**The Contents of the Box**

Let's take a peek inside the box and see what goodies Apple has packed for us. Oh wait, it looks like there are some other items in here too - but who cares? We're here to talk about the Apple TV! As I lift out the remote, I notice that the lid of the box is actually a protective covering with an Apple logo embossed on it. It's a nice touch and adds a bit of flair to the packaging.

**Comparison Time**

Now that we have both the new Apple TV and my old second-generation model in front of us, let's take a closer look at some key differences. As expected, the new Apple TV is slightly thicker than its predecessor. But hey, it's worth it for all the new features and improvements! The remote, on the other hand, has undergone a significant redesign. Gone are the days of smudged screens and scratched surfaces - this one looks sleek and polished.

**Removing the Plastic Wrap**

It's time to remove some more plastic wrap from our Apple TV. As I carefully pry it off, I'm surprised to find that there are actually two layers of protection covering the device. That's a nice touch, and I'm glad Apple is taking extra precautions to ensure our new TV arrives in pristine condition.

**Taking a Look at the Ports**

Now that we've removed most of the packaging, let's take a closer look at the ports on the back of the Apple TV. We have all the usual suspects: power port, ethernet, and HDMI. But what about the optical audio port? It seems like it's been replaced with USB-C - a change that might not be to everyone's liking.

**The Siri Remote**

And now, finally, let's take a look at the pièce de résistance - the Siri remote! Oh boy, is this thing beautiful. The touchpad surface is incredibly smooth and clicky, making it a joy to use. I can already imagine myself zipping through menus and controlling my TV experience with ease. The glass finish gives it a premium feel, and the aluminum back adds a nice weight to the device.

As I lift up the remote, I notice that it comes with some Apple stickers - because who doesn't love a good sticker? There's also an instructional diagram of the Siri controls on the back, which should help new users get started. And for those wondering what the little button with a TV icon does... well, we'll have to wait and see.

**The Lightning Plug**

I notice that there's a lightning plug in the box, which seems to be designed for charging our Siri remote. That's a nice touch, as it means we won't have to worry about running out of battery mid-viewing session. And, of course, there's also a standard charger that looks eerily familiar - but I suppose that's what happens when Apple doesn't like to change things up.

As I lift out the charger, I'm reminded that it's essentially identical to the one we used for our old second-generation Apple TV. Not exactly what I'd call "innovative," but hey, it gets the job done! The only difference is that this one has a new design that matches the rest of the packaging.

contents of that box ooh that was very fun it's so pretty so for comparison's sake let's put the Siri remote over here here we have the new Apple TV and over here we have my old second generation Apple TV now obviously this is a lot more smudged than and kind of just nasty but that's that that's okay for comparison sake let's let's just look for I think only the second time in Apple's history wo it's rolling away history wo it's rolling away actually made something fatter this is very very unapp but you understand why as soon as we take a look at this in the in-depth review I'll be posting tomorrow so there is more plastic on this thing let's take it off ready you ready ready ready ready ready ready ooh look at that it even has an Apple logo in in the plastic why I don't know but it's very cool I'm going to keep this I'm going to put it on my wall right now oh there's more plastic more ooh ooh woo let's take a look at the ports of this thing oh no I'm smudging it right so along the think 2 and a half years ago so yeah that's not going to happen this touchpad surface is really smooth and ooh it's so clicky it's so clicky I could just click this all day right so Siri button volume up and down play and pause menu and then a button with a TV on it not sure quite what that does yet you can see we also have this lovely glass surface which is going to be smudged in so fast you can't even imagine and this lovely touchpad which is also glass and very clicky the back is aluminum we only have our microphone Port up here some FCC regulations at the bottom which I thought they no longer had to have but apparently they do but it's such a comfortable remote oh oh my goodness I'm in love right so let's take a look at this little thing that we have hey Apple stickers that's fun so
