**Keyboard Shortcuts Galore**
If you're trying to figure out your way around Windows 8 and don't want to touch your way through it, fear not! I've got your back. Here are some handy keyboard shortcuts that'll make navigating the OS a breeze.
I've always loved keyboard shortcuts - another reason why I love living cross-platform. Although sometimes my key mappings get confused, I'm sure most of you can relate to this issue. Using keyboard shortcuts is a great way to streamline your workflow and increase productivity. Plus, it's just plain fun!
**Logitech T650 Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad**
Have you heard about Logitech's new T650 wireless rechargeable touchpad for Windows 8? It seems like an awful lot like Apple's Magic Touchpad, but with a few key differences that make it uniquely suited to Windows 8. If you're looking for a Windows 8 optimized touchpad, the T650 is definitely worth checking out.
We spent some money to buy this product to review it for you, and I'm excited to share our findings. Don't thank me - just thank Ryan, who loves this product a lot!
**Graphene: The Miracle Metal**
Graphene is putting a new twist on smartphone technology literally, thanks to this miracle metal that apparently my dog Wicket can't stand. But seriously, graphene has some amazing properties that could revolutionize the way we make smartphones. For now, it's still in its infancy, but who knows what the future holds?
**iPad Mini: A Love Story**
I recently got to spend some quality time with Diana's new iPad mini, and suffice it to say she loves it. There have been a few comments coming in, including questions like why didn't you buy her the Kindle Fire HD or the Nexus 7. The answer is simple: she wanted an iPad mini, and when you don't give your woman what she wants, you always give your woman what she wants.
**Instagram's Web Pages**
Instagram just rolled out web pages for profiles today, which means that one of my followers (and hopefully yours too) will be getting a shiny new iPad mini on Thanksgiving Day. If you're not following me on Instagram, why not? It's easy to install and you can browse and interact with Instagram from your desktop web browser.
**Goodbye Windows Live Messenger**
Windows Live Messenger is no more - Microsoft has killed it off in favor of Skype, which will now be their instant messaging platform of choice. Not a problem for me, but I know some of you may have grown attached to the old WLM.
**Apple's Mac Future**
Rumor has it that Apple may be exploring the switch away from Intel chips for their Macs. Why not? They've already done it with their mobile devices, and it seems like a logical next step. But will they be able to match performance or exceed it? Only time will tell.
**iPad Sales**
Apple reports that they've sold 3 million iPads in three days - opening weekend sales are always big numbers, but this one is particularly interesting. We don't know how many of those iPads are the new iPad or the fourth gen iPad, but we do know that the iPad Mini is blending them all together.
**F-Secure: Android Malware**
Malware is on the rise despite Google's efforts to clean up its platform. F-secure has put out a warning about dodgy apps, and it's a good reminder to be careful what you download.
**Question of the Day**
Our question of the day is brought to you by Godaddy.com - can it still be too late to buy the retina MacBook Pro? The answer is no, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. Our own video processing machine, connected to this very laptop right now, works well in that way.
**The Verdict**
It's not too late to buy a retina MacBook Pro, but if you can wait till the video card gets better, that would be the way to go. Otherwise, you'll have to mess with the resolution settings on your own - which I've done using the free tool Quickr (thanks again for all your support guys - we hope you are sharing the things that we are creating for you, no matter where you are, and thank you as much as you appreciate us). We'll catch you later!
