The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Unboxing and First Look
I'm Saf on Super Saf TV, and welcome back to my channel. Today, we're going to unbox the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, a device that's been on my wishlist for quite some time now.
This has been a little bit later than the S6 I had to wait a little bit longer to get hold of this. Now, we do have the gold Platinum version, so this is one that's not been covered much on YouTube that I've seen anyway. Hopefully, this unboxing will give you a little bit of a different perspective and a closer look at this version.
First things first, let's get it unboxed right away. We've got the outer sleeve which we can get rid of and after we've broken the seals on the top and the bottom, we can open the box and present with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
Straight away, this looks absolutely beautiful. This is probably the best-designed device I've seen recently. As much as I want to check it out straight away, let's put that to the side for just a second while we see what else we get inside the box.
Now, you've got your standard things: your paperwork which includes your quick stock guide, warranty information, as well as regional information. There's also your three-pin adapter here, now this does have adaptive fast charging – this is the UK version; it may be different where you are. So, you're going to get fast charging on here as you had with the S6 and the Note 4.
There's also your micro USB-to-USB cable, you've got your Samsung earphones, which also come with some different-sized earbuds, and finally, there's your SIM card ejector tool. Now, let's get straight to the device; it's got a plastic sleeve so you haven't actually got a screen protector.
Let's slide it straight outside of the sleeve now, and it looks absolutely beautiful straight away. It is a bit of a fingerprint magnet; I've just had it for a few seconds, and as you can see, the fingerprints are already obvious. Now, this does seem a little bit more than the darker Black Version and the White versions which I have seen but maybe that's because gold is sort of in between.
Let's have a closer look around the device so at the top side of the front, you've got your earpiece, your sensors, your front-facing camera – this is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera, same as the S6 and the Samsung logo. At the bottom side of the front, is your home button which doubles up as an awesome fingerprint scanner.
There's your capacitive touch buttons on the left and right as well on the top. You've got an infrared sensor, a secondary mic, and also your SIM card tray – so the SIM card tray is actually in the top here rather than on the side like we've got the S6 this is for obvious reasons for that edge.
So there's no space for a SIM card on the edges at the bottom. We have a micro USB port, your 3.5 mm headphone jack, your primary microphone as well as your speaker grill on the left side. You can see that beautiful Edge and there's your volume up and down buttons on the right-hand side – you've got the second edge as well as your power button.
Now moving on to the back is your 16 megapixel rear-facing camera. This is one of the best cameras out there right now; it's the exact same as the S6 so I can tell you straight away this is absolutely awesome. You've got your LED flash as well as your heart rate sensor and the Samsung logo.
Now, the bottom side of the back has some text here – some versions I have seen that have the Samsung Galaxy S6 logo; I don't have this on here which I'm really glad about. I just like that plain look so let's go ahead and take a closer look at it.
I'll be downstairs see okay um, there isn't really a downstairs anyway so yeah.
