A Holiday Haul from Dollar Tree: A Review of the Season's Newest Finds
As I walked through the aisles of Dollar Tree, my eyes scanned the shelves for the perfect additions to my holiday collection. And then, it hit me - the reindeer-themed coloring book was exactly what I had been searching for. The gray backdrop with dots of snow was a game-changer, and I couldn't wait to dive in and start coloring. But that wasn't all - I also found some amazing gift boxes in various sizes, which I knew would be perfect for packaging my favorite holiday treats. The quality of the boxes had improved significantly from previous years, and I was thrilled to see that Dollar Tree had taken steps to offer more diverse and larger options.
One of the sets that caught my eye was a little reindeer-themed box set, complete with four cards featuring adorable illustrations of reindeer. The vintage vibe of these prints was instantly charming, and I couldn't wait to use them for crafting projects or as part of my holiday decor. Each card had its own unique design, from candy canes to wreaths, and I loved the attention to detail that went into creating each image. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or just starting out, this set is sure to delight.
As I continued shopping, I stumbled upon another coloring book - "Snow Day" was its title, and it looked like a perfect fit for my holiday collection. I knew immediately that this one would be a favorite, and I couldn't wait to add it to my stash.
But before I left the store, I made sure to check out some other holiday finds. A Christmas floor mat caught my eye - not just for its beauty, but also for its practicality. The design was simple yet elegant, and I knew it would be a great addition to my home decor. And while there were only a few options in the flooring department, I'm always excited to see what Dollar Tree has in store.
In addition to these physical items, I also snagged some Christmas cards that I plan to use for crafting or as part of my holiday correspondence. The designs were vintage-inspired and seemed to have been handmade with love - I couldn't resist adding them to my collection. And the best part? They were only 50 cents each!
Finally, I stumbled upon a "Snow Village" illustration that had me hooked from the start. The design was whimsical and charming, and I loved the way it seemed to capture the magic of the season. As I left the store with my haul in hand, I couldn't help but feel grateful for Dollar Tree's incredible selection of holiday items. here's the deal i i honestly don't even like know how to feel about this but as most of you know maybe some of you don't know but dollar tree has raised their prices and i'm not talking about their bonus section they've raised their dollar price to a dollar 25. now i knew this was happening but i also thought from what i had read that this was only supposed to have happened to a hundred of their select legacy stores um and they have like over seven thousand stores something like that okay so either my store that i shopped at with this haul is a legacy store or this dollar 25 is happening to all of the dollar trees so if you know what the update is definitely comment and let everybody know but dollar tree did raise their prices and the other thing i noticed while shopping at this dollar tree is that the logo everything's a dollar gone right and kind of rightly so because it would be false it's kind of like okay this is bizarre because i've been shopping at the store for longer than my daughter's been alive and she's just turned 21. like and this store has always been a dollar it is disappointing so i don't know comment let me know how you guys feel about it so the first thing is actually a repeat item i've purchased this before and it is this handle that's what that is but then you also buy the parts so dollar tree sells like the handle and a bunch of different like parts that you can attach to the handle i went with this broom head because and i have one of these already like i said but that one i use in my garage so this one i actually want to use to clean my floors with i saw it in a video somewhere where a lady was cleaning her floors with a broom just like this so essentially the video that i saw is the lady put her detergent down first then she scrubbed with a brush like this um and then she cleaned that solution up once she did the scrubbing she then took her mop mopping brush and then basically did the wipe up that way so i wanted to go ahead and get this so that i can scrub down my floors so i got that and then i picked up an apple i can't say this word corer it's just an apple corer yeah that's just like a weird tonguey thing you know but it is hand wash only fyi and i did get it for an apple but assuming according to the picture that you could do onions and all kinds of other vegetables here i'm going to open this up so that you can see this is what it looks like but yeah so at on thanksgiving my daughter and i tried a new recipe we did an apple crisp and i could have definitely have used this to cut down my apples with so i want to show you guys some new wrapping paper that i found because they're so beautiful they're not in my color palette but like i've talked this up before you don't just have to use wrapping paper for wrapping you can use it for crafting and all kinds of things and this one is gorgeous no they didn't of course it would be a lot better if it was a dollar but again neither here nor there and i'm just flabbergasted by how beautiful this print is the black metallic silver and red in this gorgeous very masculine too i love that so if you definitely like choose wrapping paper you know for like each person you know gets like a different wrapping paper i've seen people do that i love that um this would be a great one for the guys so love that and again great for crafting too then we have this one so we have this one it's beautiful navy and then joy peace love all the things i just kind of wish they didn't do a gold in this i wish they would have just done silver writing or white writing and that would have been perfect all right so we have that one and then this one's just a simple silver and navy metallic this one's just stunning look how beautiful that is i think it was last week i hauled this tissue paper but i didn't haul them in doubles so i wanted to go ahead and pick up another little batch and it is this set right here but this time it was a dollar twenty five last time i hold it it was a dollar but again i'm i'm just a little bit sour today so there's that and then i also picked up the snowy village one as well which looks like this i love this tissue paper it's probably one of like my favorites that's ever come through dollar tree this little snowy town i absolutely love it um so anyways i'm going to add that to my wrapping station so i found some cute little gift tags these are little rocket ships kind of random dollar tree's known to do like multiple like cohesive collections i don't know where the rocket ships kind of fall into but they are still cute nonetheless santa's my favorite i like how his is like a metallic silver with the christmas lights super cute and then i found these now the gift tags have been cute this year but they're not my favorite and i know i probably say this about everything at dollar tree but really what comes in is number one the item i wait for all year long for the release are the gift tags and they just they weren't this hasn't been my favorite year but this set is really cute i do like this the gingerbread man in this there's like even like shark i think there's a dinosaur really fun you could craft with these as well by the way and you do get 60 pieces in there and then i have this set love all of the little metallics i am still till this day using gift tags from like 2012. i have quite the collection and actually last year i ran out of one of my collections from like a dollar tree longo i think i cried yeah i know i'm ridiculous here is this set which i might have already hauled this one just show you guys what they look like super cute all right so those are the gift tags and then let me show you guys the um gift bags i'm like i can't find the words so i found a new little set they are really cute love it love what they've done here they went with this farmhouse country look love the tractor this might be the first time that i've seen them do a tractor like what i'm just gonna hold all three of them up so you can kind of see i really love this set i'm wondering if there was like a fourth option um there's beautiful glitter detail to it as well christmas wishes and i just love that just the design it just they just did it right i guess and the side is really plain and then the station wagon clark griswold vibes 1 000 right here there's even a tree on the hood which kind of like blends in with this so it's you yeah like there it is it has a white outline there the other one was green farm christmas oh it's like blocked christmas tree farm merry christmas all right and then we have this one happy holidays with the red truck and the farmhouse so pretty and the red outline all right so i got that one and then i found this bag which i love so this little print or this illustration i guess you could say they've done for the past several years now in my opinion as they should because i adore this illustration it's so cute but this bag on a yellow backdrop that's kind of what's new you know they just like use the same artist i guess you could say but did whole new prince the deer on this truck all of this detail with the wreath around his neck i love absolutely everything in here with black snowflakes this bag is immaculate in my opinion actually i got another one and then i picked up this one i think i already have this one in my collection um but i was like you know what i won't be mad that i get a second one um just santa flying over the cutest little snowy village here's the first one this is one box by the way for a dollar but this print is beautiful look at the size of this this is typical of dollar tree right they will do different quantities based off of sizing so this doesn't surprise me um but yeah it's just so beautiful and you could definitely craft with this as well instead of just using it as a gift box and it's a snowman set here's this one love there on a sled and then here is this one which is really cute i might also already have this in my collection but i really love the prints so not mad that i have two of those now but these right here i don't have and you guys i'm living for this little santa hang on i gotta open it i gotta do the full effect for you guys because it is a moment what was that i don't even know i did get doubles of these so let me show you it's just a vintage and that is what caught my attention immediately i don't know just looking at them they have that vintage like illustration to them and that's one of the things that i feel like i've really been looking for at dollar tree anything vintage and i'm gonna show you some more stuff here in a second but like how beautiful is this box they give you the plain white bottom and the sides look like this with the stars but i just love i just love this and the second one that you get is this one by the way in the set so i have another box of the vintage santa and i love it then i found this little set so let me open it too this is like more vintage but this one i feel like is really fun also kind of has a little bit of a vintage look for me but this one comes with a really cute reindeer love the gray backdrop with the dots of snow and then i found these which were so awesome i love the sizes that's the one thing i will say that dollar tree really did a great job this year are all the different gift box sizes they've given us everything um once upon a time it was just pretty generic they didn't really give us large um so they have come a long way in that retrospect so i'm gonna show you guys this little set right here and you get four okay you get four because the the bombs are white uh but here's what they look like also giving me like just that vintage look so you could definitely craft with these and the box is long so this is what it's gonna look like and then here is this print so pretty very traditional here is this print the wreath and then it's the most wonderful time of the year dollar tree has used this print and other things as well let's open it find out because the front and the back ones are gorgeous oh my gosh i'm so excited for this one all right so here's the first one love the candy canes they're so pretty very unique very unique like image and then here's the ones we can't see and it's not my favorite here is this one which also not my favorite it's cute love the idea just not in my personal like color palette um so there's that one and then the one in the back i really love it's just so cute it's got all the little like stamps on it oh my gosh it's all like the stamps for mailing your letters to santa so cute kris kringle santa claus yeah this one's really adorable and if you're a crafter i would definitely pick up this box set i mean just for this one alone it's just it's worth it it's so cute so love that set and then i did find another coloring book so it's called snow day so there's that so if you're new to like watching my hauls i do love um buying coloring books from dollar tree they're just so cute and especially like the holiday ones it just like puts you more in the mood you know so this one's really cute so adding that to the collection and then i think a couple more things i found the christmas floor mat this blew my mind too beautiful to be a floor map like even then it's really nice for that too so love it this was the only one that i found but knowing dollar tree they probably made a couple of other prints as well all right then i found more christmas cards so these i'm actually using as crafting but they are vintage or at least to in my mind or to my eye they looked vintage so let me show you and what's crazies like i almost didn't see these these i can't talk today it's a day here's this one like does that just not like give you vintage vibes fire's catching again here's this one yeah this one for sure look how cute santa is now these were 50 cents each so they didn't change the pricing of their cards of these at least i'm the ones that are like uh handmade the one dollar or the cards that are in the plastic wrapping i bet those are probably 1.25 um and then here's the santa yeah this one's just vintage to me love it so these i'm going to craft with and then this one also just gave me the vintage vibes so pretty so if you're doing any kind of journaling or like a december daily journal or anything like that like these could be a really cute pickup for that project and then here is this one and i bet there were more too i was kind of in a hurry on the shopping trip so honestly i'm always in a hurry i feel like and then here's this one and then the last one is a little snow village so cute and even this illustration also looks vintage to me too all right guys that's it for today's haul honestly i probably should have just not put up a video today i feel like i always want to give you guys the best the best experience the most fun time and i struggled a little bit today but like sometimes that's just like real and i also don't want to stray away from my filming schedule because i know a lot of you really look forward to all my videos and i hate letting you guys down so i already missed sunday because i just didn't feel good but anyways that's today's haul sorry again that i was just down in the dumps but i do hope you guys enjoyed all of these items and i will
