My Vlog Life: A Behind-the-Scenes Look at My Work and Personal Life

I'm going to meet the love of my life at a Wawa one day, you'll see. Oh God, I hate when people don't use their blinkers. God darn it, this is the longest light in this town. Come on, come on, you can do it, come on, come on that was that was actually my neighbor there, you go good green light. Oh no, my poor iPod Touch, there it is, that's the good angle. I like.

I wanted to use this video opportunity to let you guys know what I do almost every day. Oh my God, it's a leaf Fest. Alright, we are here and for those wondering, this is the H got turkey shorty Mayo American cheese meat. Obviously, meat means Turkey um lettuce tomato hot peppers and oreganol and a blue Gatorade. And of course, coffee for later, but let's go into my office. I just put my tripod and Camera down, surprisingly nothing is here yet, nothing from Quibid, nothing from Loot Crate so I really hope it didn't come home for nothing. Uh we'll save it there's my camera equipment.

But I did want to show you guys this real quick check it out. My gaming setup is looking good, me just the exposure here, there's my Astro A50, who there you go, Astro 50, my Asus monitor that I unboxed from Quibids, my Xbox 360 that I got from Quibids in my controller so it's looking good. I don't know what I'm doing about audio yet, I might be using the at2020 which is right there, um I still have to adjust it but there it is, looking good and of course, my Mac Pro is down there looking sexy as hell.

Starting over here you can see things are still green then again that's Holly I believe so that's going to stay green moving to the right things get a little more orange and there you go. Look at all those leaves, they are accumulating pretty quickly, I got to clean my windows but right here guys check this out that looks nice look at that the green right there the green and the orange sorry I'm doing this too close to the glass the green and the orange look really really really good together very nice very nice.

And over here just a bunch of stuff that's slowly dying, and this is my day nothing terribly exciting but I do appreciate everything I have. Actually guys, I freaking love life. I mean I don't have the most exciting life but I freaking love it. I mean I love waking up and just thinking well what can I do today in terms of work it's really good although sometimes like you know some days are more busy than others obviously but today's a very chill and gloomy day, it's one of those days where I just wait for equipment SC to arrive.

all I should say I'm not rich I wish I was rich I always see people claiming that I'm rich just because I can afford an iPad or I mean if I was rich I would have well this doesn't mean you're rich but I would have gotten myself an iPhone 5 without even thinking about it the fact is guys I have bills I have a lot of bills um most of them are student loans that I'll be paying for years and years to come unfortunately uh but trust me I'm not rich but then again no offense to the younger people it's usually the kids who think you're rich uh but when you hit 18 and you start having all these bills then you understand the value of a dollar and that things don't exactly always come easy for you cuz believe me if I could get the new iMac 27 in that thing would be in my house right now well it hasn't shipped yet but you get the point but anyway what do I do every day well if I don't already have a video queued for YouTube I usually wake up I check DF franco.com askk um and then I say there are any questions I can um well do for videos and usually if I do an ask ask a question video I do an audible video uh audible recommendation I should say which I get paid for I am an audible affiliate so that's a big big part of my life nowadays not just audible but affiliate marketing in general now what is affiliate marketing is wondering most people already know but it's basically a basic program where you sell something through your personal recommendation but you do get a commission of that sale for instance every audio book I sell well that's the thing they're free um I get paid for everyone that I give away um all of my Amazon links are ail affiliated with my code um I get paid through YouTube God darn it and it's basically a whole bunch of other stuff like that um I get paid through Squarespace now and then I get paid through my PC backup not yet that's that's my newest thing I'm experimenting with but the point is guys the internet do not just oh you got to be freaking kidding me the point is guys the internet is not all fun in games you can actually make a living it just takes years and years of hard work for instance I probably couldn't be where I am today in just a couple years I mean a couple people on YouTube did luck out not luck out but they worked harder than I did on YouTube they have these high quality professional Style videos um and they got to where I am in like 2 years me personally it took like five or six years you're sliding you're sliding don't fall no I'm about to be rolled by a UPS truck I know him I don't know him but I've seen him before he's the Sprinter he runs up and down the driveways and like it's the end of the world all right I am at the post office I'm going to go ship this for work actually that's more stuff I of what I do now what else do I do on a daily basis graphic design work and web design work I consider them both in the same category it's very interesting I actually went to school for Visual Communications also known as graphic design just fancy talk um I love graphic design I love web design but these past couple of years I've definitely shifted Focus from graphic design web design to you you know YouTube SL video content and affiliate marketing I love affiliate marketing is I've always loved selling stuff to people I I like I don't know what it is like I've always done as a little kid like I used to go around in my wagon and sell my used toys for like a dollar or whatever I've just always had it in me I love I love the idea of selling something to people but only stuff that I personally recommend for instance I had a couple uh people say that the my PC backup thing was sponsored no it wasn't sponsored I'm just affiliated with them and the only way I promote a service that I'm affiliated with is if I personally use that service myself you might fall hold on Told You So in terms of graphic design and web design I still love it it I mean I still get that this sounds cheesy but I'm sure other designers will understand I still get that nice feeling inside when I find that like that perfect shade of color or that nice smooth gradient um it's just very hard to explain so in terms of graphic design and web design it's not that I don't love it I'm just not doing it as much as I thought I was going to be nowadays now I'm going to shut up for a minute cuz I don't want this person think I'm talking to myself and we are off again the iPod Touch fell again so that's basically what I do graphic design and web design are awesome guys do not get me wrong I mean if if you're in the field for that for a living keep going for it there's a huge market for it still and people will always always always need design work done I mean I still do it on a regular basis don't get me wrong I just do video content and web content turns of blogs and whatever on a more regular basis than I do graph get web design so it's not a bad thing it's just people tend to sh their focus over time I mean who knows maybe I won't even be doing YouTube 5 years from now maybe I'll be doing blogging for a living or that's what's so great about the internet guys you have no idea how passionate I am maybe you do know but I love waking up in the morning not knowing what's going to be in my email inbox some kind of business opportunity or what kind of new products are going to be announced by Apple because new products means I can create new videos and hopefully do unboxings on them it's just the internet is an infinite world of possibilities it really really is it the internet has changed people's lives I mean it's certainly changed mine and I have apple to thank for that Apple's what got me into everything I do nowadays in terms of video editing if I never switched to the Mac I'm not sure where I would be in life and it kind of scares me to think about I'm sure maybe I would have gotten into it eventually but it's really really hard to tell you can't really ask yourself what if because there's no real way of knowing so there you have it that's what I do cuz I always get people asking David what do you do for a living well is YouTube affiliate
