Premium Earbud Shootout - Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless vs. Master and Dynamic MW07

The Rise of True Wireless Headphones: A Comprehensive Review

There are a ton of true wireless headphones on the market these days, and while we haven't tried every single one of them, we've come pretty darn close when it comes to great sound quality. Among the many options available, there are only two that we really recommend highly: the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless and the Master & Dynamics M07. These two headphones were pitted against each other in a battle of wits to see which one would emerge victorious.

When it comes to design, both headphones look impressive. The Master & Dynamics M07 are among the best-looking true wireless headphones we've seen, with their sleek and modern aesthetic. They come in multiple colors, including this tortoise shell design, and feature a minimalist design that exudes sophistication. On the other hand, the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless also look great, although not quite as stunning as the M07. They have a black matte finish with a little flash on the outside, giving them a premium feel.

One of the standout features of the Master & Dynamics M07 is their ability to offer four different ear tip sizes, which allowed us to find a very good fit for our ears. We never had any trouble with the headphones coming out even when we shook our heads. However, this also means that they're not quite as comfortable as some other options on the market. The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless, on the other hand, are also available in four different ear tip sizes, which made it easy for us to find a comfortable fit.

Both headphones come with impressive cases that are designed to protect them from damage. The Master & Dynamics M07 have a stainless steel case that feels like something a secret agent might get just before a covert mission. However, this also means that the case can scratch over time and show fingerprints easily. On the other hand, the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless come with a slightly larger case that's designed to resemble James Bond's classic gray threepiece. While it may not be as rugged as the M07 case, it does include magnetic charging ports that make it easy to charge the headphones when they're not in use.

The battery life of both headphones is also worth mentioning. The Master & Dynamics M07 offer 3.5 hours of battery life per charge, while the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless can go for a whopping 4 hours on a single charge. This means that the Momentum have a slight edge when it comes to battery life, although neither headphone holds a candle to some other options on the market.

When it comes to controls, both headphones offer simple and easy-to-use options. The Master & Dynamics M07 feature buttons on top of the buds, which we generally prefer. However, we were impressed that the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless also have touch controls that almost always work as expected, especially for volume control. Both headphones also offer transparency mode, which allows you to pipe in sound from the outside world.

In addition to these features, both headphones also offer smart control apps that allow you to fine-tune your listening experience. The Master & Dynamics M07 app offers a range of settings and options that can customize your sound and improve your listening experience. However, we felt that the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless app was slightly more user-friendly and intuitive.

Finally, when it comes to water resistance, both headphones offer IPX4 protection, which means they should be able to withstand sweat and water exposure without any issues. While neither headphone is fully waterproof, this does mean that you can use them with confidence during your workouts or in wet conditions.

In the end, it's clear that both the Master & Dynamics M07 and the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless are excellent true wireless headphones that offer great sound quality and a range of features. However, if we had to choose just one, we'd have to go with the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless. While they may not be perfect, they offer a slight edge in terms of battery life, sound quality, and smart control app functionality.

However, it's worth noting that this was actually a very close call. Both headphones are pricey options that offer great value for money, but they're also quite expensive. In the end, you'll have to decide which features are most important to you and which headphones fit your needs and budget best.

Great sound quality there are only two we really recommend highly those include the Sennheiser momentum true Wireless and master and Dynamics mw07 so we decided to pit these two against each other to see which one comes out on top available in multiple colors including this tortoise shell design here the mw07 are among the best looking true wireless headphones we've seen for their part the momentum look pretty good too they've got this minimalist Design This black matte here and then little flash on the outside there as for the momentum they have four different ear tip sizes which allowed us to find a very good fit and we never had any trouble with them coming out even when we shook our head that said they're not quite as comfortable as the mw7 and they stick out a little bit more from our ears than we like so for their better look and sleeker fit we're going to go with the mw7 both pairs have impressive cases in their own right we love the mw7 stainless steel case which feels like something a secret agent might get just before a covert Mission but it does tend to scratch over time and it also will show a lot of fingerprints speaking of secret agents though we actually called out the momentum case is something we'd see in the pocket of James Bond's classic gray threepiece it's a little larger and not quite as rugged as the MW 7's case but it also includes these magnetic charging ports which make it way easier to seat the buds when you're you're not using them still this one is too close to call so we're going to call it a draw another very close call here the momentum true Wireless come out on top with 4 hours of battery life per charge compared to just 3.5 hours of battery for the mw07 neither hold as long a charge as we'd like even falling below the much cheaper Apple airpods but the momentum do last longer per charge on the other hand the momentum's charging case only offers two extra charges for a total of 12 hours while the m7's case adds three for 14 really this one just depends on how long you'll be using the earbuds at a time the mw07 offers simple and easy to ous controls in the form of buttons on top of the buds which we generally prefer the momentum instead go for touch controls which are a bit more confounding to use especially for volume control but we were impressed that the momentum's touch controls almost always worked what's more the momentum allow you to use transparency mode so you can pipe in the sound around you they also offer Smart Pause which means they'll pause whenever you take them out and the pausing can also be adjusted along with multiple other features in the Sennheiser smart control app overall the momentum just allow you to do more and fine-tune your features giving them the win here while neither pair are fully waterproof both offer ipx4 Splash proving so they should work just fine on your daily workout even if you build up a sweat or get into some wet weather this one's another draw when it comes to our final category Sound Performance while we realize this is quite subjective we're going to give the momentum the win here both pairs of earbuds offer clear and detailed sound but the momentum take things further offering bigger Bolder bass smoother mid-range sound a wider stereo image and better overall instrumental definition when it comes down to it while both earbuds sound great the momentum are simply the best pair on the market right now hands down with the best sound and features the siser momentum true wireless earbuds are our winner but it was actually a lot closer than we expected the bottom line is these are both pricey headphones that offer Great Sound and in the end you'll have to decide we'll choose the momentum thanks so much for watching this video if you
