New Razer RTX Gaming Laptops! 240Hz and OLED

Razer are getting into the Nvidia RTX 20 series Graphics game with some new configurations of their popular Razer Blade gaming laptop including 240 HZ and 4K OLED screen options let's take a look.

Razer are refreshing the 15-in razor blade with the latest Nvidia Graphics options we'll be looking it having the RTX 2060 RTX 2070 Max q and RTX 20 80 Max Q options available from January 29th as per nvidia's release date. Like many other thin and light laptops here at CES 2019 that have had the graphics updated it'll be interesting to see how well they're able to keep cool so get subscribed for my full review.

Once I'm able to get my hands on a review unit aside from these expected configuration options Razer also had a couple of interesting prototype machines on show hopefully no one runs off with them this year. First up there was one with the 240 HZ panel making it an excellent option for pro Gamers or people playing competitively. 240 HZ seems to be popping up from everyone here at CES this year I've seen it announced by a few companies now so it's nice that it's finally becoming an option for those wanting more.

When I went to use it I remembered thinking to myself I wonder if I'll even be able to tell if it's 240 HZ instead of 144 HZ and then as soon as I just scrolled through the start menu in Windows I could tell straight away it was just so smooth. I asked when we could expect to see the 240 HZ panel available in their product and was just told sometime in 2019 because they honestly weren't sure they did say the product line was further along at this point than they expected which may have been why there was a review unit on show at CES so hopefully not too long before it's available.

Next up they had a razor blade 15 but with a 4K 60hz OLED panel and it honestly looked amazing. I've only used OLED once before on a laptop and that was in a smaller 13-in size the 15-in OLED panel was instantly obvious when viewed next to a regular razor blade the blacks were just so deep it looked great again like the 240 HZ panel. There's no current official release date and once more I was just advised sometime in 2019 if at all so hopefully we do actually see that available as an option.

They also had the new razor blade stealth on show a 13-in laptop with up to mx150 graphics and great battery life I've actually got a full review of this coming very soon so I won't go into too many details here again get subscribed to for that one.
