A 360° Passenger Ride in the New Volkswagen Tiguan: An In-Depth Review
If you're familiar with a Volkswagen Golf, you'll be delighted to know that the new Volkswagen Tiguan is based on the same platform. This means that it feels very similar inside, offering a typical kind of Volkswagen design that's efficient yet a little bit plain. The dashboard design is straightforward and easy to use, making it a pleasure to navigate.
One of the standout features of the Tiguan is its infotainment system. We're talking about an 8-inch screen here, which is dead easy to use. The infotainment system is designed to be user-friendly, allowing you to steer, use various functions, and avoid any potential crashes. This makes it an excellent choice for a new car.
One of the key differences between the Tiguan and other crossover SUV rivals is its seating arrangement. You'll find that you sit more in the car than on it, which may not be ideal if you prefer a chunky SUV feel. However, this design does offer a good view forward and all around, making it easier to navigate through town.
As we take a closer look at the Tiguan, you'll notice a feature that allows for a fold-down front passenger seat. This is perfect for carrying longer items, such as picnic tables or other equipment. The mechanism is cleverly designed, with even a cup holder that can be adjusted down. The ratchet system makes it easy to use and maneuver.
Under the hood, the Tiguan is powered by a 2-liter diesel engine that produces 150 horsepower. While you may not need this level of power, rest assured that the car drives smoothly and feels more like a car than an SUV. It's nimble, handles sharply, and doesn't roll in the corners, even on rough surfaces.
The Tiguan is designed to be comfortable, with a soft and squidgy interior that's perfect for daily driving. However, some materials may feel cheaper than expected, particularly in the back seats. Despite this, the overall design is still impressive, with a frameless rear view mirror that adds a touch of class to the car.
If you're looking for a reliable and efficient car for your daily commute or long road trips, the Tiguan is an excellent choice. The diesel engine may be the better option if you plan to do a lot of miles, while the 1.4-liter turbo petrol engine will suffice if you'll only be using the car for short trips.
Overall, the Volkswagen Tiguan offers a great driving experience, comfortable interior, and impressive features like an 8-inch infotainment screen. While it may not offer the chunky SUV feel that some of its rivals provide, its good visibility, light controls, and smooth handling make it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient car.

based on the same platform and it feels very very similar inside so yeah typical kind of Volkswagen efficient yet a little bit plain Dash design everything's dead easy to use of course and we've got the the larger 8 in infotainment screen infotainment is dead easy to use really easy really really really easy to do it so you can steer use it and yeah don't have to worry about crashing now this car so compared to other crossover SUV Rivals you you seem to sit more in it than on it so if you really like that kind of chunky SUV sat on it kind of feeling then you're not going to get it with this car but it does give you a good view forward and all around actually so you should be able to see for yourself if you just have a look around move your phone about I'm just going to stop and show you doesn't roll in the corners but you don't have to firm suspension either that when you drive over bumps it feels all uncomfortable it does that usual VW Thing of being a jack of all trade and master of most of them as well so yeah I'm hunting out the bumps here on this pretty awful Service Test Track and they're not bothering me at all the surface is rough and you know it's pretty quiet in here little bit of wind whistle because obviously it's a tall vehicle but on the whole you know I'm doing 60 it's nice and relaxing so this is going to be a great car for commuting in cruising on the motorway but because it's sat up high and visibility on the whole is very good you're going to be able to navigate it dead easy in town and of course the controls you know it's all nice and light the steering so going to find it very simple to drive now if you do lots of Miles yet this diesel is the choice but if you're just going to be using this car in Tan On The scho Run get the 1.4 L turbo petrol it's going to be good enough I love that engine also love this frameless look there we go look frameless rear view mirror just adds a little bit of Touch of Class to this car though while on
